Wow what a great place. The pizza was the best I've have had anywhere. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We also had the salad bar and pasta, awesome. I've been watching my 3 year old granddaughter for over a week and this was the first time she has eaten good. She had the speggetti, and loved it. The Borro's special was awesome. I was bringing pizza to a friend in the area and saw this place was close by. So I figured I'd order to go. It was super packed (always a good sign).The staff was friendly; so were the other customers I sat next to while I was waiting. Each of us on the edge of our seats, drooling each time they called someone's name. I wasn't getting anything fancy, just 1/2 cheese, 1/2 pepperoni. But it was delish! Flavorful, cheesy, and I loved the puffy crust. Next time I am in the neighborhood, I am definitely stopping here again. And I want to try their other pizzas as well. If I could give them a 0 star I would! What a waste of $72.00 so gross and disrespectful! My husband called in a pick up order at 6:15pm 2 pizza and wing specials saucy and extra crispy wings . They girl said it will be about 45-55 minutes okay great we are just leaving the zoo. Well we get there around 7pm my husband runs in a hour goes by no pizza! At this point my husband is angry no one knows what happened to our pizza so he is told 20 more minutes finally a manager gives him a personal sized salad for his inconvenience after 7:20! Well almost 8 pm is when we finally got the food we ordered almost 2 hours ago! We get home the wings are drowning sauce and they are on the bigger side and not crispy at all! We go get pizza its not only soggy from pizza sauce but the slices are cut in small slivers! This is our first time trying this place out and will not be returning! After 2 hours we get a personal sized salad for our inconvenience! This was just gross! The whole staff is young teens and obviously no one to watch over them! We are not the only customer angry a guy called in pick up was sitting there waiting for his pizza and it was delivered to his house! Great pizza and surprisingly fast delivery (arrived in 25 minutes when I was initially told an hour.) Got the meat lover's, hot wings, and meatballs covered with cheese and marinara all which were good. Presentation wise, food all looked superb, especially for your standard Pizza franchise. One the best pizzas I've had, I got from this place. It's my hubby who really loves pizza. When he orders, I would it a slice or two and that's it. But when I really like it very much, I would grab for one or two more slice! Haha This pizza place got me! Their pizza is wayyy better and yummier for some reason! I remember when I and my friends ordered, I ate like 4 slices without even noticing it. That's how good it was! I like their buffalo chicken too, very tasty and their sauce is very good! If I could I would give this place 0 stars but teenagers shouldn't be managing this place! Our server gave us terrible service and when our pizza came the server just slammed the pizza down on the table, then walked away didn't say much either. Also when I was trying to get the Parmesan cheese out of the container it wouldn't come out because the container was still wet and they just put the cheese in it. Don't order Subs from here! They literally put one piece of meat on 3 subs we orders and saturated with jalapeños on one of them. They use pizza cheese also ( they clearly need to stick to pizza only ) The also messed up the order. Kids they hire need to pay more attention to taking and writing down correct orders. read more

Normally Barro's is quite delicious, tonight, not so much. Wings were dry and soggy, ordered a large sub and got a small. One of the other sandwiches we got was just a joke entirely. We called and spoke to a manager, and we're informed that a 12" meatball sub gets a WHOPPING 2 meatballs, cut up and split between the two halves. We have lived in surprise for 6 years now. We have always ordered from Barro's and they are awesome. We order probably at least once a month, now maybe like 2-3x a month and they never disappoint. They always quote us like 45-55 mins and 95% of the time it takes like 35 minutes or faster than the quoted time. I don't understand these other reviews but 6 years from ordering from them we have NEVER had a problem. Thank you guys for always delivering our food fast or on time, even during prime time weekends, holidays, and thru the pandemic. Y'all are the best! Forget these haters. read more

When in Rome, do as the Romans do, right? Out in Surprise, AZ there aren't to many independents to chose from but just about every chain you can think of. Including a new Barro's at the corner of Greenway and Reems which is just a mile from my bff's house. They not only have a decent pizza but some of the meatiest wings Ive had in ages! We ordered the daily special which is a 1 topping, XL pizza and 24 wings, bone in or boneless for 23 bucks! We got a pepperoni and 24 honey bbq wings, bone in.. I love a good bone! Anyhoo.. Pizza is ample topped with thin slices of slightly oily pepperoni and has a chewy and slightly crispy crust. The wings are tender and the thick rich honey bbq taste was memorable. For 23 bucks and with the amount of leftovers, probably 2 meals, a real bargain. Plus the quality really seems to be there in both the ingredients and the friendliness of the staff. This has been been our go to pizza since we moved to surprise. They are very consistent always with their quality and not so greasy. Its also down the street from our house so its a win-win I always get the veggie pizza minus the tomato and pepperoni for the family. We like their wings too. We love the fabulous sub sandwiches that are packed with meat and veggies and priced so reasonable. Recently we tried the Spaghetti with meatballs, Ravioli and Antipasto salad. FANTASTIC!!
