Beware of the busy times; your pizza will suffer! I've been meaning to write this review sooner, but this this was for an order I picked up on Halloween 2020. The store was EXTREMELY BUSY, and the staff was running back and forth between the kitchen and the front counters. I called my order in 45 minutes in advance, and I still waited for 15 minutes in the restaurant. Needless to say, I did get my pizzas (one GF pizza and one large non-GF pizza), but I should have checked them before walking out the door. Upon opening the box at home, the GF pizza was a disgusting, wet, sloppy mess. It went straight into the trash--GROSS! (See pics). The other pizza was OK, but still under-cooked for the most part. I did write an email complaint to Corporate Barros, but I never heard back. To warn others, I created and uploaded a handy chart: Pizza Quality vs. Busyness. When the store is quiet and slow, the pizzas are great, but when it's very busy and/or a holiday (rush-rush-rush!), then the pizzas suffer immensely. Hello, my family came in to celebrate my siblings 16th birthday. We requested a lighter cook on one pizza. A woman on staff argued against the request. When she brought the new pie back she was very combative and passive aggressive. When we asked her name she replied "I don't have a name". This customer service experience really had a negative impact on the night. We contacted the manager but still received no name. There was no monetary compensation or otherwise reassurance of any repercussions. Approaching this situation would be beneficial for staff and their establishment. We just moved to Marley Park and received a coupon in the mail for a complimentary Large one topping pizza. I called in a pickup order which was ready the minute I arrived. We chose standard crust vs. thin and it was quite tasty! The sauce was sweet, thick and delicious. The lady at the front was very friendly and helpful with a price question I had about their salad bar which looked delicious btw. We'll be back for sure! read more

We ordered a large cheese pizza and 24 chipotle raspberry wings on 2/27/24 through Door Dash. The cheese pizza came burnt with no cheese or sauce. The chipotle raspberry wings were also burnt with no seasoning on them. We then called Barros to let them know about our burnt food and the lady who answered the phone rudely said, "she can't help us, because it was ordered through DoorDash. Then we need to get with DoorDash on the burnt food." Please explain to tell me how DoorDash is at fault for burnt food? It seems like a loophole for Barros to blame DoorDash for burnt and unseasoned food. Then I went online to DoorDash and they rejected our case even with the burnt food pictures. I've given this Barros so many chances. They mess up our order all the time, NEVER cut our pizza, and the staff is rude. Tonight was the last time I'm getting pizza from here. My order came wrong and it was not cooked correctly. Barros blamed door dash for the pizza being wrong and if we wanted to seek reimbursement it would have to be through door dash. However, the only fault of the driver was the coldness of the pizza. However, they should not be responsible for the pizza not being cut and the order being wrong. They continued to argue with us and said to get reimbursement from them. We didn't want to screw the driver out of his livelihood so we didn't ask for a refund. In regards to the service and attitude, it is the worst. Everyone is constantly in a bad mood and when asked the time before for paper plates the lady stood there and said we don't have any and she didn't even attempt to look. Then she said "next in line" This place is trash.... Go to Denos Pizza off grand. It's way better. No one may care but they lost a customer tonight forever. read more

Service. I called to alter an order by asking for only half of pizza to have spinach(kids hate it, I love it). Already paid for it and stated I do not care for a refund for this simple request. Our favorite type of everyday go to pizza joint. Great hearty original crust thick with lots of toppings and great next day morning pizza. Service has always been friendly and it has a down to earth family ambiance. The only down side is they don't deliver to Waddell anymore (they used to) so they get a star off for that :( read more

We just wanted: Regular crust extra crispy Extra cheese Extra garlic Double cut No other toppings The crust was very soggy and the pizza itself was incredibly greasy, the worst that I've seen. Got a offer in the mail for a free large one topping pizza so why not try it out. Order pepperoni and lemon pepper wings. We got the thin crust. And it was soggy. The wings needed more season didn't taste like anything. Maybe I should have gotten the wing sauce. Should have asked for some on the side. It did come with 4 very small sad pieces of celery. The ranch was super watery as well. I didn't dine in. I took it home, but when I walked in every one was nice and welcoming. Place seemed clean as well. read more

This is the best pizza in the valley. Hands-down, no doubt. pizza is made fresh and I have never had a bad experience with dine-in or take out. The wings are solid, salad bar is decent, and there is ABSOLUTELY NO BETTER LUNCH COMBOS VALUES AROUND. Less than $7 for a meal that will literally put you in a food coma! (3 [BIG] slices and a drink) Not to mention, they supported a fundraiser my organization was having. I just can't say enough about how much my wife and I love this place. First time visitor and I gotta say I really enjoyed the pizza. Nice crust, not too doughy or too hard/crunchy. Was a good price for the size. Reheated up nicely the next day. My boyfriend and I were on a trip and looking for something to order in one night when we found this gem on Yelp. We gave it a go and wow! Such good pizza! I like pizza as much as the next person but for the most part places taste the same to me, with a few exceptions and this being one of them. We ordered garlic bread which was delicious and then the Kona pizza which was super unique but we absolutely loved it! You definitely need to order ahead of time and be prepared to wait a while, but it's 100% worth it! read more

Stop me if you've heard all this before! The dough is a heavenly, sweet and tasty soft pillow that is hands-down the best pizza dough I've ever had. It would've been wonderful without any toppings! Don't know what the secret is!!! Perfectly baked (bottom not burned like some places.) Even the crust was scrumptious. The toppings were fresh and generous. This is a long overdue update. I decided at the beginning of the year to give this place another try. Drum roll please!!!! I have been ordering every week or every couple of weeks. The pizza did not disappoint. The pizzas arrives hot and loaded with toppings. When we order we each get our own pizza as our taste are different. We have never received an incorrect pizza. We have also ordered the spaghetti and meatballs for the children in my family and they love it. I have not ordered the wings yet. I took a picture of my pizza today. I had a feeling this might be a mediocre experience the minute we walked in. Not a time you actually want to be a right. You order up at the counter, and then find a table and they bring the food out to you. The staff were young kids that have a job to do and don't really care about customer service. Most of the tables were dirty, maybe they didn't have time to clean in between customers but it didn't said a very good tone. We ordered a couple of small pizzas, a salad, and spaghetti. I'll start with a good... The antipasto salad was fairly decent. The garlic bread that it was served with however, was drenched in some kind of grease or fake butter, and it was just downright nasty. The pizza was pretty good, nothing to write home about. The spaghetti was watery and left a lot to be desired. Barro's make a a pretty good pizza, but this location is rough. The order takers are rude and don't know how to talk to customers on the phone or in person (looking at you Lydia). They say some come in 25 minutes and make you wait another 15. it's definitely a miserable place to order from and It seems like a miserable place for the kids to work Like a lot of businesses nowadays they are slapping on silly extra charges. Charged me $5 on top of menu price for choosing traditional wings and then 75 cents a pop for extra ranch. It's already very expensive pizza. Put in a doordash order last week for pizza and wings. Called to ask for the wings extra done because otherwise they are usually undercooked. Girl who answered said the manager doesn't let her do that. I spoke with the manager(I think he said Troy) and he told me he wouldn't be allowing people to call and ask for wings extra done any longer. He specifically said he doesn't have time to be fielding calls from everyone and would not be able to put the wings in for extra long. No time for your customers huh? I don't understand how it's my problem that they give this option on their app but don't offer delivery. But if I use DoorDash for delivery then I'm not allowed to request it. Frankly I just went to order from Barro's right now but remembered that he said he will refuse to cook the wings extra so I had to order from a different business. Great pizza, always fresh, and by far the best around Surprise. The only downfall is they ALWAYS take forever to make the pizzas they often say 30 min and I always have to wait an hour for my orders. Absolutely the worst! I ordered from them six months ago I ordered the gluten free pizza crust( mind you its pre cooked) when we got it it was so soggy it stuck to the box. After we waited well over an hour to get it. Called and spoke to the manager Mike and what a joke. Not even an apology he told me to put it on my front porch and they would pick it back up. We decided to give them a chance again and ordered pizza and wings with ranch and sauce on the side. Well over an hour later we get our food. The wings where cold and soggy, no sauce and no ranch. Called them got hung up on then once again Mike came on the phone No apology just a yeah ok will give you a credit! For one Mike should be fired and corporate needs to step in. Barro's, its been real. Real freaking dissapointing the last couple of weeks! I will never order pizza from this location again (Other Barro's I have no issue with). The last 2 Friday's (3/4/16 and 3/11/16) we ordered pizza from here. Both times we got the "Barro's Special", and both times, hours later the family had "stomach issues". I don't mind having the shits every now and then. As they say, "Shit Happens!" What I DO mind though, is after last nights pizza, my 2 year old son got violently ill and what appears to be food poisoning. Throwing up and shitting water for going on 12 hours now. Maybe management needs to check who is working on Friday nights and give them some tips on safe food handling. No excuse for getting sick 2 weeks in a row. Never coming back! It really is sad, too. The service here was terrible. The cashier got an attitude when she forgot to give us a drink and the receipt. Then we receive our food and needed napkins we asked and were told okay but nobody ever came back. Then we realized they were out for anyone to grab which we could've just been told in the first place instead of ignored I would've gladly grabbed them.
