for $8 was expecting more fries. also the fries were overcooked. on top of that they didn't give any ketcup nor was ketcup anywhere to be found. three fails for one order. was going to order pizza but seeing as how they failed on the fries, I said nope. Truly the best cheese pizza I've had in California. So much so, when we moved 10 cities over, I still take the drive to order that delicious cheese pizza. Normal dough, just like they make it. You will not be disappointed. For the longest time they never had delivery, but when we moved away the different apps will deliver nearby for them. Lucky for the locals! When you go inside they have many specialty pizzas. As I don't eat meat, I stuck with cheese, but their Mojos are BOMB too!!!! Perfect ratio of potato to crust. They are even better when you add hot sauce and use their ranch! Yum!! Their place is a bit old school but great for after soccer practice with a bunch of kids, or a casual date night. Long time customer because it is always soooooo good. Today, however, not so much. Something was totally up with the sauce.. no flavor... AT ALL... basically blended tomato w/water. The quality and quantity of toppings is great, crust is bomb, but what happend to the sauce???? Awesome pizza! I introduced my husband to it and this is the only pizza we get now. They are not stingy with the cheese or pepperoni.

I ordered a small 2 topping pizza, mojos, wings and a soda. Was more than enough for just two people, could've gone with a smaller sized pizza. Lots of more toppings on the pizza compared to some other comparable restaurant. Very lively place. They have an arcade and it seemed like a couple of parties were going on. Staff was nice, they were quick and brought it out to the table as it was ready. I don't think I'd order the wings or the mojos again, but there are other things I would like to try on the menu. It is expensive relative to a regular pizza you get elsewhere. The small 2 topping was ~$20. To me the pizza was alright, the person I ate with said it was good. read more

I grew up in this place after youth football games for Rowland Raiders. Our team used to always meet up here. 1995-2000. I'm happy to see that the place is still up and running. Barro's Pizza has been around for at least more than 15 years. It's a local mom and pops Italian restaurant. I come here all the time whenever Im craving for Italian food. I recommend to call in before pick up so you don't have to wait. The order is usually ready within 15-20 mins even if they are busy. You can't go wrong ordering anything on the menu. The ingredients are super fresh, they make it fresh on the order and the portions are very generous to share with your family. We always get a medium pizza with 3 toppings, a baked ziti and the Family antipasto salad!!!! Their pizzas specialty are on the pricey side. So I always pick 3 toppings since they are generous and more affordable to feed a big family. My most favorite dish is the antipasto salad. They size can feed 4 people. What I love is the huge chunks of ham, fresh shredded mozzarella cheese, and diced mushrooms. The Italian dressing goes really well with the salad. The pasta is on a smaller size and can feed up 2 people. They don't hold back on the cheese which is why I love coming to Barro's Pizza. If you are looking for a bomb Italian, do not hesitate. Pizza is delicious! They are generous with their toppings, the sauce is the perfect sweetness, and the crust is chewy and light. We've also tried the family-sized antipasto salad which was fresh and had so many toppings! It will easily feed 6 people. They are not stingy with the dressing either. The spaghetti and ravioli w/meatballs were very good. Each dish had the perfect amount of cheese on it, and the meatballs were tender and delicious. Barro's Pizza is a local pizza joint that is pretty much reminds me of a family pizzeria. When you call in your pick up order they are pretty much fast and on time which I like. The pizza itself taste pretty good, overall I like the crust and the amount of cheese with the amount of toppings it comes with. I ordered a mushroom, tomato and pepperoni pizza in the smallest size they had. Still the pizza was pretty big and I still only ate about three slices of it. The portion size is super huge and pizza itself is very filling. Also ordered a small order of mojos which is their tasty potato slices with some sort of seasoning. The bill over $17.00 so it of course is more than Pizza Hut or even Papajohns. But of course we shouldn't compare them together. The toppings that are given here are a lot and plenty so I think it was worth it. I think enjoying a nice pizza from this place would be a pretty good weekend dinner with family and friends! I've been going here for years and, apparently, the fast food minimum pay turned into a moment where the prices were jacked up far beyond the need to manage prices. I ordered a large and medium pizza. Large with pepperoni and 1/2 jalapenos the medium had sausage, mushrooms, jalapenos and pepperoni. A 20 count of the mojo potatoes. I expected a tab around $50.00 instead it was just under $78.00 Despite being a long term customer I won't be returning. I was at Target in San Dimas and decided we should have pizza. I put in an online order so that by the time I drove to Walnut my order would be ready. I spent $80 on pizza!!! I drove there and had ten min left to wait for my food. I walked in and the guy told me "we forgot to make it." Seriously??? At least lie to me and try to cover your mistake. Then I asked the guy "what can you do for me since you forgot?" He had no real answer except to start all over and make my order. I fully expected my food to be ready and take it back to a house full of hungry people. Nope. Sorry they forgot. I asked for a refund and the competent person behind the counter said "I don't think I can do that." Another guy came and gave me my cash back and said sorry. This is a terrible example of how to keep your business alive. I will not come back or recommend this place ever again. I will drive further for better pizza with amazing service. We decided to come here after school with the kids. Their prices are decent and it is always well kept up and organized. They have a diverse menu to chose from and staff is always friendly. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza, cheese bread and the antipasto salad. The salad was so fresh and refreshing. Our pizza we ordered a large pepperoni but it was half sausage with pepperoni when they brought it. It was actually really delicious and the sausage was not salty at all. Consistently good! Barro's has been around since I was a kid. It's always been a popular place with the locals (still is)! Can't go wrong with their pizzas. A neighborhood favorite for over 20 years and deservedly so! I've tried both the veggie pizza and the Barro's Special pizza (pepperoni, ham, bacon, green bell peppers and onions). The veggie pizza is great and they are generous with the toppings. The Barro's is also generous with the toppings. The only drawback is that the Barro's Special pizza is salty. The next day leftovers tasted less salty. I really like the dough they use. I also tried the spaghetti with meat sauce. This was topped with mozzarella cheese. I thought it was better than spaghetti I tried at an Italian restaurant a couple of weeks ago. Barro's gives you a lot of red pepper flake packets. We have plenty left over. Potato mojos are to die for! I can eat a full order myself no problem! We came here after my cousins soccer game. Kids pizza was covered and we just had to order our own. Ordered Barro's special pizza, potato mojos, spaghetti, and wings. They take reasonable time to get prepared due to being made fresh. They also have a decent selection of draft beers you can order too. Kids are in heaven when they come here to due arcade room. Adults can come and watch any games on one of their TV. They play all the important sports games there. Owners are korean and they are very friendly. Instead of making the workers collect empty dishes they go around and does it themselves. I had ordered pitcher of beer and it tasted funny (no carbonation) so mentioned it to the owner and they switched it out to a new one of my choice for free.
