The rice bowl was the star -- perfectly cooked, well seasoned, and not dry at all. The Caesar was decent but needed more dressing out of the gate. I did ask for extra after tasting it and that fixed it, so just ask upfront and save yourself the step. You should use the paper menu to place your order. There are napkins, silverware and chopsticks in a bucket on the table for use. You must ask for a straw. I too often dismiss Bar Taco and write it off as a "basic," nothing special, chain joint that would be more of a last resort than a planned-choice. My return to BT for the first time in a while was an important correction of that misconception. I'm convinced each dish we ordered took no more then 5 minutes to come out-- super quick and convenient for our group of friends. Because it's so speedy, we could order just as we wanted something.
