I eat here twice a month if not more for lunch and have tried most things on the menu--every single thing is good. My favorites: Taquitos Esquites Nachos with Al pastor Tortas Everyone is so nice and unless it is a lunch rush, they usually get everything out pretty quickly. Don't forget the salsa bar!!

Located right next to the Phipps Plaza AMC, Beto's Tacos was a conveniently delicious spot for a late lunch/ early dinner! They closed a bit earlier today for Cinco De Mayo but were able to get our to-go orders out just in time to take them down the hall to eat. The chicken enchiladas were a great deal at around $15. They came with beans and rice as well as chips! The restaurant has a salsa bar filled with lots of options to top your chips or meal with. The service was great and very friendly even when we came in a couple minutes before closing. Since they were celebrating, there were even colored balloons and streamer decorations for the holiday! The employees came around every so often offering new customers their choice of yummy Mexican candy! The enchiladas were worth the price in my opinion, especially with all the add ons I got. It was filling and had a great flavor. I had to add a bit of salt and hot sauce to the beans to spice them up but overall had a great taste. Would definitely return for a pre or post movie treat!

We came here on a Sunday afternoon right before our movie at AMC. There were only one other group of people being served at the time and there were a few to-go orders that came through. I ordered the Taco Chorizo, Taco Pollo Asado, and the Taco Carne Asada. The pollo asado was dry so I don't recommend it. If you add salsa to it, it helps but the chicken was still dry. The chorizo and carne asada were pretty good with the carne asada taking it all. Overall it was just okay though.

This place is such an upgrade on other quick service taco places! I love the street tacos but the real gem is the birria tacos that comes with consume. This is an individually owned store and the owner is here often and cares a lot. Good employees as well!

Interested in a late lunch, I ordered 3 street tacos ($11.99): Al Pastor, Barbacoa, and Tinga, served on corn tortillas. And I quickly inhaled them. Of the three, the Al Pastor was the most flavorful. (I never thought that I would find authentic street tacos in Phipps Plaza...) The salsa and chips are complimentary, and I loved the salsa mexicana with cilantro. The salsa has just the right amount of heat. The chips are warm, thin and crunchy. Very pleasant and prompt service. Highly recommended!

It was so good! Walking around the mall and stopped in to get a quick bite. The food came out quick and was delicious. Since it's inside a mall it's a small area but it was packed. Will definitely be back.

I loved my chicken quesadilla! Tasted really fresh and was packed full! The rice and beans were also great. My boyfriend enjoyed his burrito too. We had it door dashed and everything traveled really well.

Tucked away in Phipps Plaza, this place was unexpectedly fantastic. I truly cannot hide my enthusiasm. I ordered the following tacos: Grilled Pork Belly - chicharron asado suave, green salsa, pico de gallo, and red pickled onions Chochinita Pibil - traditional Mexican slow roasted citrus pork from the Yucatán peninsula with lettuce, cilantro, and red pickled onions Poblano Peppers, Oaxaca cheese, and mushrooms The last one was my absolute favorite! It was my first time trying Oaxaca cheese and I was thrilled. My boyfriend ordered the birria, which he enjoyed just as much. The consommé had a rich tomato and spice flavor, and is the most seasoned birria broth I've tried yet. We love it!

Best mall food (in my opinion)!!!!!! They have screens located to the right where you can order yourself. They have 15+ taco varieties, with options to upgrade / change the toppings. The tacos came with their own little bag of chips and salsa, but the best part of this place is the salsa bar in the corner. As you can see, I had to try every salasa offered and they ranged from mild but flavorful to extremely spicy. Also ordered the elote and queso. Not going to lie, I was disappointed in the elote but the delicious queso made up for it. check it out the next time you're shopping in Phipps plaza! (or make a trip just to eat here, it's so worth it). Service was also very fast, was able to order and eat my food in 25 mins before catching a movie next door

Pick 3 tacos for $10.99 so I got Carne Asada, Tinga and poblano and mushroom taco.

My coworker and I came here for our lunch break. It's in Phipps plaza on top level on end where Belk used to be. You get chips with your order and they have a salsa bar that also has limes and radishes. It was really good and we will be back.

Beto's Tacos, located inside of Phipps Plaza Mall up the escalator in the food court. This Beto's Tacos is the best place for after work Mexican food & Beverages. Lorenzo, explained the menu favorites and made suggestions as to what I should order. After pondering for a five minutes, I decided to get the 3 Birria Tacos with Consome for $12.99 ( 3 Shredded marinated beef tacos with 4oz consome. Yummy! It was so good. Lorenzo did an excellent job by putting everything in my bag. I added a small cup of Queso dip $3.95. I was so pleased with Lorenzo's customer service. Beto's Taco bar was spotless. Clean clean! I compliment Beto's staff on how organized the cups, plastic ware & salsa bar was. Easy access to Beto's using the escalator. I highly recommend Beto's Phipps plaza. Free parking & safe environment.

Pleasantly surprised stopping here after a trip to legoland with my little. Food was really good and decent portions for the price especially. Have a salsa bar to help yourself and lots of options for food. Def a nice option for a quick bite without sacrificing quality.

The staff has great energy during the Grand Opening celebration at Beto's Tacos at Phipps Plaza. There was a line but it was moving fast. I ordered 2 tacos (tacos vegetariano and peppers and mushroom) and a burrito (big green salsa). The tacos were ok. The burrito is really good. It was full of flavor and Avery satisfying. I want to try other things on the menu so I will be going back soon. The atmosphere was very relaxed and casual.

The place was okay but they use cheap fatty meat in their tacos. We won't be going back.

We tried the La Piñata and the Smokey Old Fashioned, which arrived in a dramatic smoke dome--such a fun presentation. For our first bites, we ordered the Tostadas: handmade corn tostadas served with both red and green avocado sauces. They were fresh, vibrant, and a perfect start to the meal. Our main courses were equally impressive. The Short Rib with Mole Amarillo came with pickled habanero onions, rice, and plantains--rich, tender, and beautifully balanced. We also enjoyed the Arrachera, an outside skirt steak served with sautéed onions, chimichurri, rustic potatoes, and a bouquet salad. Every dish was plated beautifully and tasted exceptional. Our server, Dalia, made the experience even better. She was warm, knowledgeable, and attentive--always appearing at just the right moment, whether to refill our water or guide us through the menu. Overall, it was another amazing visit. We go there often and have never been disappointed.

This is my second time here and both times have been so good. We came as a party of 3 and left so happy and full. I love Mexican food holy moly We got the queso and octopus shrimp ceviche as starters. The queso was 3 cheeses: American, cotija, and Oaxacan. They heated it up under a salamander so it was nice and crispy on top, while being gooey all throughout. Also came with a couple of nice salsas. The ceviche was not my favorite because I don't prefer raw(ish) octopus, but the squid ink sauce was very flavorful. For our mains the 3 of us shared the red snapper, tuetano with lamb, and the mixteco poblano pepper. Red snapper had a nice charred smoky flavor from being grilled. Was more meaty than flaky in texture. It was our second time getting the mixteco poblano pepper and it hits. Highly recommend eating with some of the salsa as well if you get queso. The duck carnitas in it wasn't particularly duck-y today, but still very good. Best dish is definitely the tuetano. The bone marrow is so incredibly flavorful with the blue corn tortillas. Add some of the pickled onions and it's hard to go wrong with that flavor combo of salt, fat, and acid. if you're going to order one thing, I'd order this and share with a friend and tbh it's enough to be filling. For dessert we got the volcan de chocolate (basically lava cake). The lava cake and coconut ice cream combo is fantastic. You get bits of coconut flakes as you eat! Fair warning it isn't the brownie texture you may be used to, it's a bit more cakey. Amazing service the whole night! Almost got our cars booted because we forgot to validate until 1.5 hours in but luckily we were fine. The staff let us know they have been booting cars though so be wary!

The food is consistently good, portions are generous, and a cold Modelo goes perfectly with the meal. It can definitely get crowded, so I'd go expecting a wait during peak times. But to me, that's part of the charm. Places don't stay this busy for this long unless they're doing something right. My only complaint is that when you order takeout in person, they add a 15% takeout fee. I think that's excessive because we're not dining in, being seated, or interacting with a server--we're simply placing an order, picking it up, and taking it home. I don't really see what additional cost justifies that fee. The food is great, but the takeout fee makes ordering from here less appealing. Ambience is good.
