The ambiance here is very nice. The food is always consistent. I am in love with their street corn and their tacos. I also tried their ice cream this time and it was very good. Very rich. I got the vanilla bean. My servers are always very pleasant every time I go here.

From left to right: pork belly, Baja fish, cauliflower and shrimp tacos with a margarita to wash it down

I travel to this area 4-6 times a year and stay at a nearby hotel. I felt like I had exhausted my restaurant option's until I discovered this place. I tried a variety of tacos (Baja fish, shrimp, cauliflower and pork belly). They were all very good! The margaritas made with fresh squeezed lime juice (literally to order) were amazing. I took a key lime pie jar back to my hotel room to enjoy later and it was fantastic! Will definitely return again on future trips!

Really enjoyed the crispy oyster taco - very flavorful and a fun twist to a such a classic dish. The baja fish and chicken verde were also very good as well. I ordered the mojito and added passion fruit flavoring and recommend you do the same if you like fruity drinks. Olivia was our server and she was so sweet, checked in on us consistently but not in an overbearing way. She also made tremendous recommendations. We sat outside and enjoyed the warm spring ATL weather and patio vibes with soft upbeat music in the background.

My friends and I walked in here on a Wednesday afternoon and we were greeted and sat immediately. Our server was very nice and friendly. We ordered chips and salsa along with the esquites as appetizers. Both salsas were not very spicy and the hot sauces on the table also were not spicy. I do wish there was a bit more spice in them. The esquites was amazing! The 3 tacos I had were so delicious! My absolute favorite was the honey roasted Brussels sprouts. It was my first time at this location and I highly recommend it!

I love bartaco. People are so friendly, vibes are always on point, and food is always good. My first time at the vinnings location which I enjoyed with one of my favorite people. I swear by the time I put down my phone after ordering the food started to arrive! Enjoyed the ceviche, duck birria, chopped salad, and plantains. I like their N/A cocktails too. The ginger drink is delicious. Each bartaco has its thing and this one has the largest bar area for the ATL locations. Parking can be tight in the plaza but I found a spot.

Bartaco Vinings is nestled in the heart of Vinings off the main road. There are 2 other businesses in the center so parking can be crowded. Free parking regardless. Easy to locate with signage from road. I joined the wait list in case they were busy. There was a nice little crowd. We got the last table indoors. They do have seating on the covered patio with heaters. Patio perfect during warmer weather. We were seated immediately by one the managers, Darren. I got the reposado Margarita and my friend got the Paloma fresco. She said it was good. She couldn't taste the tequila. So here is the thing with my Margarita..lol. Margarita by itself was okay to me. I prefer mine sweeter and this was tart. However, the sugar rum I asked for saved the drink for me. Usually, I would have asked for a little agave to sweeten. A young man who will be unnamed was our server. He did a good job making suggestions from the menu. He said the guacamole was good. I ordered a small. It came with 5 fried tortillas that I broke into pieces. Tortillas were good my themselves. The guacamole was good. Loved it!! However, if you do not like spicy, I advise against it. Definitely taste the pepper in it. Tacos were really good. Loved the flavor of the pork belly and Chicken Verde. Definitely would order them again. I just wish they were bigger. Alas, delicious food. My friend enjoyed her tacos as well. She got the chicken verde, shrimp, carnitas and sesame ribeye/steak. She said they were all really good. She tried a few of the sauces at the table. Fyi, you can buy sauces to take home!! She ordered churros to go. It came with dark chocolate and another sauce. The churros solo were good. Not a dark chocolate fan. The food and drinks were good. The vibe was nice inside the restaurant. Loved the restaurant decor. It was small and intimate to me. Great for a date night or dinner with friends/family. The manager was nice and helpful. Our server started strong and then no dice. We were looking for him. He was talking at another table for about 15 minutes. We got the young lady attention he was talking to so we could get our checks. We watched her tell him. He walks back like headed to us. He actually just moved out of view. Unfortunately, I had to approach another server to ask for checks and the churros to go. He apparently saw me and ran back in. No apology at all. Just 1 or 2 checks and brought churros. As we left, he was back talking to that young lady. I was disappointed in how distracted he was and having to ask someone else to help us. Hopefully, he learns to be equally attentive to all his tables. Outside of that, we had a positive experience and would go back.

We haven't been to this location before, but consistently delicious tacos, rice bowls, and the ambience is wicked awesome. Everyone who works there is so incredibly friendly and courteous. Service was excellent, and the seating is great because you can do an indoor outdoor type of thing. Located in Vinings Jubilee, there are tons of restaurants and shops in the area. But watch out that you don't get stuck by the train. Ha ha.

First time eating at this establishment. Our server a beautiful young lady helped us with the menu. My husband had plantain tacos meal which he enjoyed. I had the mole chicken meal which I enjoyed. Plus 2 helping of the house hot sauce Yum! When we visit Tampa Florida again we will return to this Cuban food restaurant. Thank you

I'm a huge fan of bartaco Hyde Park, so when our original plans fell through in Atlanta, I had to stop by the Vinings location and it did not disappoint! I saw some mixed reviews, and hey, everyone has their own experience, but ours was great. We visited on a weekday at a random lunch hour, so it was quiet, and the service was quick. The food? As always, fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying. It's consistently tasty and filling every time. We'll definitely be back!

Went here for the first time and I wasn't disappointed! Starting off the watermelon mint margarita was delicioso! Unfortunately one of my guests didn't get his beer and they kept bringing out the wrong drink. Upside is they let us keep them so 2 free drinks wooo! It's an interesting format and more like family style and you mark how many of whatever you want on a card and hand it to the server. And everything just comes out as it's ready. The guac is great. They give you the fried tortilla whole so I was much more cognizant of how many of those I shoveled into my gullet because one thing about me I shouldn't be trusted around a chip and dip. The green verde salsa was the best salsa. Pork belly anything is the belle of the ball. Worth it. Street corn was tasty. And everything else was also very good. The chorizo I probably wouldn't get again. But otherwise we'll likely be back!

Love their ceviche! It is a little spicier than I was expecting but still super good and flavorful

I like how much parking this location has, although it is in a plaza so it may be a bit crowded sometimes, but at least there's more than 5 spots lol. The drinks here are strong which can appreciate, and the tacos were good as well. Our service was nice too and they were attentive. Overall it's nice to go and have a few drinks.

Fun spot with good tacos and pretty good service. Indoor and outdoor seating - reasonable prices but not a cheap taco shop.

I had the chicken and beef birria tacos with consommé, cilantro rice, and black beans. My partner went with the steak and al pastor tacos, Mexican rice, and refried beans. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned, they definitely don't skimp on the fillings. The margarita flight was also a fun choice and a great way to try different flavors. We noticed they also serve huge shareable cocktails and oversized shots that looked like a blast for groups. The atmosphere is lively, especially later in the evening, with a younger crowd and a fun, energetic vibe that makes it a great spot to hang out with friends. The only thing that rubbed us the wrong way happened right after we were seated. Chips and queso were brought to the table, and we naturally assumed they were complimentary, similar to chips or bread at many other restaurants. After we had already started eating them, our server came back and took them away because they weren't included. Our waitress was otherwise friendly and provided good service, but that initial interaction felt a little awkward. A quick heads-up when placing them on the table would have avoided the confusion entirely. Overall, the food, drinks, portions, and atmosphere were excellent, and that small misunderstanding wasn't enough to take away from an otherwise fantastic experience. We'd definitely come back the next time we're craving tacos and margaritas.

We waited only a few minutes and was able to navigate the small lot to get a spot. There is a designated window for pre-orders and walk-ups have a separate line. It wasn't that long when we were there, but was out the door when we left. Ordering was easy as we got a chance to preview the paper menu, and we were given a card to place on our table once we found it. There was plenty of seating options despite the full lot, but it was nice out so a lot of people were out on the patio with views of the busy intersection. The decor was modern and airy. We checked out the salsa bar while we waited for our appetizer and I found the jalapeno roasted garlic, which was spicy and amazing!! Our appetizer was the con queso and I added chorizo, which I highly recommend. It was plenty for our party of 4 and they'll give you more chips if you need them for the amount of dip you get, just ask. I got one each of the steak, chicken, and carnitas tacos on corn tortillas. The steak was my favorite and I loved that you could taste the smoke in each of the meats with each bite. The grapefruit marg was strong! We were in and out in well under an hour.

Halal tacos in a small store in a gas station - how can you get more authentic than that?…read more The meats served here are all halal, which is great! I got the beef Birria, steak Birria, and barbacoa tacos. The consommé itself was a little watery and tomato-y, but the tacos themselves were of decent quality and flavor. The beef Birria was better IMO than the steak, which was a little chewier. The barbacoa was definitely hands down my favorite - out of them it was the most flavorful and tender. The salsas they gave on the side were good too - spicy, tangy. The seating in the store is very limited (only a few tables, not well spaced out), large groups would be hard to accommodate.

I believe the meats here are halal. The crust of both the taco and quesadilla were crispy and had a nice cheese crunch. But trying other birria spots, these were okay. Good but nothing that would wow. The consome dip was actually pretty watered down. I know places make them differently as I've had versions with meat bits in them and another with rice. But their version was just watered down. The shrimp ratio was pretty sad. The beef is actually more bang for your buck. Though I didn't truly count the shrimps, there were about 3 or 4 of those baby shrimps. They didn't look nor tasted like they were doused in flavor. The shrimp was just so so. Sort of bland in taste imo. The beef had a nice kick of flavor. There was a good amount of beef to my surprise. Another friend's beef taco version looked like it was stuffed with meat as well. There was just ample seasoning and flavor with the beef. Psst. If you're thinking x3 tacos vs x1 whole quesadilla, go with the quesadilla. You're sort of getting another piece since the quesadilla is cut into four quadrants versus just 3 tacos. Though it's a different form on presentation, you're going to be getting more for the same exact price.
