The basket of fries were $12 dollars and was about the worst fries I've had. Zero salt or any flavor. The brisket sandwich and the rack of ribs were also dry and had no taste. (Flavor) I ordered a beer which they were out of then changed my choice which the waitress came back and told me they're out of that one too so I just ordered a Coke which never came so I had to ask her for it again. The waitress wasn't that bad though she tried. The fact that our bill was $80 dollars for one beer, one coke, fries, pork rinds, and a brisket sandwich was insane. The pork rinds were from the store bag with seasoning on them. Literally the only thing that had seasoning. Basically this place was not worth it and I don't understand how someone would go more than once. Will never come back to this place and I hope this helps both a person interested in going and also the people who work here. Our whole party was dissatisfied with this place and saw why it was so slow on a Sunday afternoon.

I learned from their…read morewebsite that the bistro was established in 2013 and their menu is moderately priced with a mix of Southern American comfort food and traditional French bistro cuisine created with passion by Chef Sam Perry. Reservations are recommended before visiting. There is limited parking along State Highway 189, so plan accordingly especially during peak hours. I started my meal with a craft beer and a half order of the Grilled Caesar. There are a number of quality starters and entrees to choose from but after asking for a recommendation from our server, I settled on the Spicy Thai Basil Spaghetti. I also was fortunate to have the opportunity to try the steak Tartare. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and well-crafted with fresh ingredients, and it made for an overall great meal. The ambience is cozy and the staff is also attentive. It's no wonder Stone Creek Bistro is so popular! I'll def be back the next time I'm in Arrowhead.

Both visits were for pickup lunch specials, and each time the staff was welcoming and friendly. The ambience inside was very relaxing, with soft ambient music and dim lighting. The first visit I ordered the chicken and broccoli, which was excellent. This time I tried the Mongolian beef, and it did not disappoint. The meat was incredibly soft and tender both times. I'm originally from NY, so I'm pretty particular about Chinese food, and after living in California for 10 years, this is some of the closest-to-home Chinese food I've found here. The lunch special is a great value and comes with a generous portion of fried rice, an egg roll, a fried/tempura shrimp (which is delicious), plus almond cookies and fortune cookies. Consistently great food, great value, and a really pleasant experience overall. I'll definitely keep coming back every time I'm in the area.

This is a low-key, "local vibe" kind of diner ~ do not go here for ambiance or high end cuisine. That said, the server was friendly and helpful with the menu. We both had burgers and fries/onion rings - I had the Ortega burger with cheddar cheese, 5/5, SO GOOD!! WILL GET AGAIN!!! I knew the burger would be good, this place is your "typical diner" - however, I was actually blown away by it!! Fries and onion rings were delicious too!! Salty, crunchy and perfectly cooked. Ranch sauce was fire too. My BF has been eating at this place for years now, and has nothing but good things to say about this place as well. We can't wait to go back soon and try the Mexican food, as our server recommended trying that cuisine. Based off these experiences and the friendly head nod from the cook as we left - we'll be back and will try something new. I actually look forward to trying breakfast there as well, at some point soon, as I heard the people seated behind us talking how good their waffles and pancakes are. Please try this establishment, I hope you enjoy as much as we did!

The food portions here are very generous, and the pricing is extremely fair. Just like any diner the menu is very large and has a lot of great options on it. Service was very fast and friendly, and they are true champions with staying on top of the drink refills. There is a large free parking lot right in front so parking is very easy and close. Inside is pretty small, they have about six booths and twice as many counter seats so if it is busy, you may have to wait a little bit, but it will be worth it. For this visit, I chose the Chili Cheese Omelette and really liked it. I wish it would've had less beans and more meat but overall I can't complain because I finished the entire thing. They also do four eggs for their omelettes so it is a bit larger than you will usually get. As mentioned the coffee is great and they will continue the refills the second you need it. It's located in sleepy Running Springs, which is in between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear. It's less than a 10 minute drive from both locations so it is a really great option for breakfast when visiting. We will be back next time we are visiting the mountains.
