Just sat through a super awkward dinner -_- a few friends and I came here a few weeks ago, and we had a great time! My boyfriend and I walked in around 8:30 tonight and there were no tables. The hostess said we could have a seat at the bar if we wanted so we walked up and there were no seats. However, there was a small table near the bar and we thought it was part of bar seating, so we sat down. The hostess walked by and I asked if we were in bar seating and she awkwardly said "I guess you can sit here" and walked away to get menus. I said we could wait and didn't know it wasn't bar seating and she just said something under her breath and walked away. She proceeded to rudely talk about us to a few different people on staff. It was pretty obvious. Our server didn't seem to want our money or anything to do with us. We would have stayed for more drinks if we felt welcome, but I guess this place has some growing to do. Maybe next time....but probably not. Wish the terrible, snobby service was worth bearing for the food! read more

I got really sick eating here a few months ago. I had a Kobe burger and a draft beer. Either the lines weren't clean, or the beef was spoiled. Sad, since I never had a Kobe burger before - tried it here for the first time. I really had nothing else to eat that Saturday, and started feeling it a few hours later, and just was absolutely sick till Wednesday. A friend of mine is a regular here, and its one of his fav places. He had the regular burger that day and was just fine. He raves about this place, and hasn't been sick from it, ever, so I might try it again, but not have a burger and be careful about the beer I pick - maybe something that's popular.... I frequent all the local breweries though, and its been a few years since I had an experience like this. read more

Yum. Order the pretzel app. I did a salad. Dinner mates did burgers, one Bison, one Chicken. Everything we had was build your own. Menu comes with a sharpie to check off your additions. Most are free with a surcharge for the really good stuff. I did the Portebello on top and the mix of my ingredients was perfect. The mushroom was not dripping in vinegar as I find many are. It was marinated nicely with a flavorful dressing. Seemed like a nice crowd, certainly a nice selection of beers. Service was friendly. I was a little disappointed that our server did not know if the veggie burger was made in house. (It wasn't) I make it a habit not to order it if I know it isn't made in house, too many bad frozen ones out there. Something went on with the table next to us, not sure what but I heard the patron say the word "rude" a couple of times. They seemed to handle what ever the faux pas was with apologies and offers of free this or that. Again I don't know what happened but the staff seemed to handle it well. I guess that is all one can ask for. I'd definitely go back and try some of the things I saw on other people's plates. It all looked so good. Drawbacks are small parking lot and a pretty small restaurant. There was quite a line when we walked in but they got us seated in less time than promised and we did not feel like they were hurrying us out when we finished. read more

When we go we try to sit at the bar, they have this bartender named Zack. He can make the best sangrias or any other drink that you would like. Its nice to go some place where the servers actually care about what they are serving their customers and the food is excellent as well the burger with the garlic mayo and pretzel bun is to die for. Well, three strikes you are out. I tried this restaurant 3 times hoping it would get better but it never did. Many of the tables are tall ones. Not good for a handicapper. The parking is horrible and it will get worse once the other restaurant opens in the strip mall. I have IBS and OMG, the burgers were so, so greasy. My husband got a stomach ache too and he does not have IBS. The burgers tasted like they added some kind of onion soup mix just like my mom used to about 40 years ago. The food was extremely salty. Went there for the first time. Absolutely amazing burgers and fries. Best in town in my opinion. Decent beer selection as well.

The burgers are great, have to say they are probably the best in the area. The wait staff on the other hand, no so great. Have eaten here three times, thinking the wait staff would get better. It really hasn't improved. read more

My husband and I along with friends went there and the food was EXCELLENT!! There was a 30 min wait however we ended up finding seats at the bar and that was the best decision ever! The bartenders were so friendly and very helpful. Also met the owner David who was wonderful. Will be going back for sure!! read more

AMAZING BURGERS! (as long as you don't get too fancy) I just got the plain beef burger and it was amazing! My boyfriend got a fancy meat burger and it was OKAY. I say go for the original beef patty and dress it up. Beer is kind of over priced, but it was a great atmosphere. read more

O.K. so this review is strictly on the Bar service. My Friend and I heard that The Basement Burger bar makes their Bloody Marys- using Mcclures mix (which is MY favorite). My girlfriend had not tried it yet- so we started our night out here because we were craving them. We got a seat at the bar, and the Bartender informed us, they were out of the mix. After we stomped our feet and acted all of about 11 years old- we then asked if he could make us one with just tomato juice, he said he didn't have anything. We again acted like children that were told there was no Santa Clause......He actually went to hos manager and asked if he could run next door to buy some stuff to make us our beloved "Marys"....O.K. so I cannot tell you what he put in them--but there were the BEST Bloody Marys weve ever had--and let me tell you- we've had a lot of different ones. We proudly consider ourselves Bloody Mary connoisseurs!!! His Name was Zach & he was so Awesome !! We got his schedule and we definitely going to go up and see him again !!! The food is excellent - the 2 star rating is solely due to the customer service experience. It was very busy when we went, we were quoted an hour unless we sat at the bar, which we did. They had one bartender in the entire restaurant so service was very slow, and he didn't bring one of our drinks and then we didn't get a chance to remind him for about 20 minutes due to what happened next. Then, a woman came up and completely invaded my personal space demanding that she be allowed to eat at the bar even though there were no seats. Obviously being very rude pays off, because the manager and bartender then proceeded to wait on this rude woman hand and foot (who by the way was provided a chair shoved so close to me that she may as well have sat on my lap). She got her drink AND food before they even asked us what we wanted to eat. Furthermore, due to the lack of space her enormous plate took up all the room in front of ME, so my food was set awkwardly far away from me. Eventually a seat opened up down the bar and we were asked to stand up and drag our chairs down so that this woman could have more space, even though she should have been the one asked to move. Overall the experience was poor, service was slow and I felt violated in terms of my personal space. We will not be going back, which is sad because the food was great. read more
