We came to Basico for brunch on 11/23/25 - they are very much OPEN and we had a great experience. The service was fantastic, the food was incredible, and we loved the semi industrial vibe. There were families and couples, father/daughter, and groups of friends - all seemed to be as happy as we were. Will definitely be back!

Amazing brunch and atmosphere. Service was great!!! Will definitely be coming back.

Amazing food and atmosphere with great customer service!!! Will definitely be coming back.

This place was our go-to for brunch because we loved their chicken and waffles! However today we got frozen chicken fingers with our meal. $19 for a waffle and 3 frozen chicken strips!! Very disappointed! Update: I spoke with the server and assured me that they will be back to normal the next week, there were supply issues this week and he removed my plate from the tab. Moved up to 4 stars for service and the fact they understood and listened to my concern.

Grabbed some dinner at the east side location, after coming across the menu & reviews for Basico on Yelp. The dining room was nice & roomy, with tables and seating socially distanced. With so many taking out/ordering delivery these days, the space was open with only our party dining at the time. (5 stars) We started with the spinach & crab dip appetizer that came with pita bread triangles. Everybody enjoyed this to begin. (4 stars) For the 5 of us, the meals that were selected were the Turkey Caprese sandwich with French fries, a Pepperoni & Salami pizza, a Chicken Caesar salad with the soup of the day (chicken noodle) on the side, the Baja Fish tacos and some Tuna Tostadas. My favorite was the tostadas. The plate was fairly small but the tastes were huge and delicious!!! (5 stars) The fish tacos were also very good - the beer battering was perfectly crispy and paired well with the chipotle aioli, cilantro, red cabbage, radish, pickled veggies and added avocado slices. (4 stars) The turkey caprese sandwich was ordered for a picky boy so the tomatoes and basil pesto was ord in the side. The turkey & fresh mozzarella worked well on the ciabatta bread & the side of fries were tasty. (4 stars) The pizza was good but a bit messy - hard to eat without a fork and knife because the crust was so thin. Would have preferred thinner sliced salami too. (3 stars) The Caesar salad was good but at the end of the day it was a simple salad so only so much to comment on. The chicken noodle soup was surprisingly good. (3 stars) Service by the bartender was on point and very good. We're looking forward to going back to try the "best in El Paso" breakfast and brunch menu another day. (5 stars)

I've enjoyed this little spot. The service is somewhat slow and I'd prefer printed menus to digital but overall I was pretty happy with the experience. My omelette was delicious, although my companions pico was somewhat bland. Bottomless mimosas won my heart. My kid also got very cute pancakes so I've appreciated the extra touch.

First off the fries were PERFECT. the salmon burger was perfectly prepared. The chicken and waffles were good as well. We had three pitchers of mimosas pineapple, cran-orange and white grape. At $18 a person they were a bit expensive but very good. The staff was very friendly and the music definitely added to the atmosphere.

Great breakfast spot. The service was absolutely the BEST. The chilaquiles were delicious. Beautiful ambiance with great coffee. There is outdoor seating at this location. Will have to go back and try lunch or dinner.

Flavor able, yet simple breakfast that was very affordable. Very good first impression but I'm going to need to come back and try a few different items. There seems to be a good selection. Oh and it was very clean, well staffed and meeting COVID cleaning standards. Proper spacing, outdoor seating, masks, sanitation between customers.

Since the first time I tried this place, it has become a go-to for breakfast, especially brunch! They have quite a variety of food, and it has all been really good and worth it. I have tried the chilaquiles (the green ones are superior), the house migas, and the different pancakes. I've yet to find a favorite, it's so hard to choose! The atmosphere is cute and chill, and sometimes they have live music (again, perfect brunch place). P.S. do not underestimate the bottomless mimosas

I came here awhile ago and promised that I'd write a review but I haven't found any time till now. I give this café 5 stars because of the excellent customer service, the great experience, and the most extravagant and delicious food. I love the set up as well. The bar, the paintings, the lights, and the smaller decorations. I definitely think that I would go here once more or even a few more times.

This place is such a delight! Beautiful ambiance inside and friendly staff. I ordered the tuna tostadas, which is a fan favorite. It's a fairly small dish, so if you are feeling hungry, I recommend you order a side to go with it. The menu was full of delicious meals, it was hard to pick one. I would definitely come back and try something different.

    Gorgeous instagram worthy painting

This place was great! Love the ambiance, modern deco, open concept and lighting. Go a salmon burger on ciabatta and sweet potato fries. The salmon was cooked perfectly, moist and warm and fresh and not overly salted. The bun was lightly toasted. The fries were waffle cut and sprinkled with fine sugar. I'd never had fries sprinkled with sugar before, it was divine The waitress was professional, attentive and subtle. Not too chatty but friendly, gave the impression of an almost french-classy bistro. I enjoyed my experience greatly. Covid makes me stay vigilant in my pursuit of cleanliness and locale. I will be visiting this restaurant again Ps Love the togo package. Made me feel like they are wearing masks while preparing my food.

Delicious! Small cafe style joint. Not sure why this is the first time hearing about this spot. We were seated immediately for brunch as soon as we arrived. I couldn't keep my eyes off how amazing the food looked at each customers table. So we tried a mixture of items. I had the bbq big stack burger which was cooked perfectly, with onion rings, and bbq sauce, yum!!! The truffle fries were out of this world, the perfect amount of seasoning with just the right crunch to each fry. My daughter had the waffles with fruit and she couldn't stop smiling. My wife had the chilaquiles and loved the combo of red and green flavors. My Tia had the chorizo and papa tacos, she thought they were just ok, nothing special. I agree, maybe add some time of cilantro lime cream or something to make them unique. My favorite was the Mac n cheese, wow! It was so creamy and full of flavor I loved it. Service was very good and attentive, the ambiance was perfect. Noise level was great, I don't like the new restaurants that make me feel like we are in a night club, I hate having to yell at the people in front of me just to have a conversation. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they didn't have a few of the items listed on their menu. I noticed that was a problem from other reviews. I suggest making the menu smaller with the top ten foods that people love and really focus on those items so you don't loose the stars you deserve. This should definitely be a 4 star bistro at least. I'm definitely adding this to one of my El Paso favorites.

TVs are located throughout, from various table angles. Our server Alex will receive 5/5 stars for his kindness, attentiveness and attention to not only our table but his very full and frequently sat section. However, when reaching out to other staff members for assistance in his absence, there were some things that fell through the cracks. Missing silverware, condiments not being present, and at times things going forgotten or unnoticed when requested. The appetizer (pictured) Philly Egg-rolls, were the best food option we received for brunch that afternoon. It was shareable between 3 adults and filling before the entrees arrived. I wouldn't order the Monte Cristo Sandwhich again, very large, dry and just didn't pair well with the potatoes and the jam offered (pictured). We did have to switch out drinks due to her taste and upkeep up the beverages. The sweet tea originally ordered did not taste well but received new drinks upon request: Mango and Strawberry lemonade. This is a family friendly place, busy, but I would give it another chance.

I saw some pictures of a new brunch place in the Far East off Zaragoza, and it looked good. It's hidden in the back next to Sky Zone and across the street from Oasis Lanes, so finding it was a little hard. When I walked in I didn't realize it was so small because I had convinced some of the girls to come to try it out with me from the Peachlab workouts. They wanted to come out to celebrate Nurse B's birthday as well as mine because that's the type of supportive community they are, but most are vegan, so I try to find places that have vegan food alongside others so that we can dine together as a group. When I saw that Boca Brava had vegan tacos on the menu, I was really excited. What I didn't know was that on Sundays they only have a Sunday Brunch menu and it doesn't have the regular items. The vegan tacos $3 each consisted of mushrooms, bell peppers, and onions (grilled and pickled), my friends enjoyed it with a variety of salsas. Luckily for us, our waitress was amazing and she got the staff to make us some vegan tacos. They were beyond accommodating and I appreciate that. Because they obviously were in a rush to make items that weren't on the menu that day, the tacos didn't come out perfectly and they're willing to redo it and also not charge us for it. My breakfast plate of 2 eggs, hashbrowns, one bacon slice, and 3 corn pancakes (with slightly spicy maple syrup) was $15. Mimosas were $3. My hashbrowns were really greasy, but the over-easy eggs and crispy bacon were cooked perfectly. The best part was the corn pancakes, I don't think I've had a lighter pancake but with substance. It wasn't doughy which is usually why I avoid pancakes, but crispy and light, probably because of the cornmeal. It was delicious. My other friend ordered chilaquiles and said that it was delicious and not mushy. We also ended up getting 2 free chocolate cakes because they overheard us saying that it was our birthday. Our waitress even took our picture, but I got cropped out, lol, my bad I didn't check the pictures until I got home. For a new place willing to admit they can be better and put the customers first, I really think they'll do well. It's refreshing and it'll bring back repeat customers. If I lived in the far East this would be one of my regular places. Boca brava (915) 219-8700 1691 N Zaragoza Rd STE 5, El Paso, TX 79936 https://maps.app.goo.gl/exW9sS3pcPrAvNzZ6
