My friends and I went here for Valentine's Day and the food and service were amazing. It was pretty busy but our food came out quickly and was delicious. The inside is spacious and there is a mixture of booths and tables which was nice. read more

I got the grilled veggie pizza and added spicy sausage to it! Also got the apple bread pudding and a small cup of Oreo and vanilla gelato! Everything 10/10! Def will be going back! Food was delicious! There was some confusion over our order which was inadvertently picked up by Grub Hub, and not delivered, but management made it right and the food was great! We have been here 2 times now. The first time we ordered Alfredo, the rosemary and potato pizza, and a spicy sausage pizza. We were pleased with the pizza but the Alfredo sauce was very onion powder heavy and not very good. It was very busy the day we came and they seemed to be having trouble delegating tasks and managing the crowd. We stood in line for about 15 minutes because they only had 1 person on the registers while many teenagers were floating around wiping already clean tables looking for things to do. The wait was not a deal breaker by any means and we recognize it takes time to work out those kinks. We ordered from here again last night thinking we would try calzones because the ricotta was so good in the rosemary potato pizza. Little did I know when ordering their create your own calzone they don't come with ricotta without adding it. Never in all my calzone experiences (I have had many) have I needed to specify I wanted ricotta in it. That missing ingredient definitely ruined this experience for me seeing as though it was a $3.00 upcharge for ricotta on the website and I was excited to try a completed calzone, not basically a pizza folded in half with extra cheese. The lobster bisque was bomb and would totally recommend. All in all, it's a nice addition to the neighborhood that is saturated with many chain restaurants. The chicken caprese although very good, my husband remarked, "I wish I would have asked for more balsamic glaze." The piece he had with the glaze he said was out of this world. I had the eggplant panini and it was very tasty. The pastries... so beautiful. We wanted to order one of each cake but settled on the coconut, which my husband loved but I thought I could taste the imitation coconut extract. The dulce the leche cake was delicious and will definitely get again. Finally, the lemon blueberry marscapone cake was delicious too. Ambience is great, not overcrowded tables with plenty of space, very clean floors, and the music selection is excellent. I loved it! Basilico's new location just opened up a couple days ago here in Stafford, VA. My parents and myself decided to go there today for dinner to try out this new restaurant; and I have to say, for a brand new store that just opened up; my parents and myself weren't to pleased by it. Even though the inside was clean and semi full, when we placed our orders it took about 15 minutes for my dinner to come and another 18 minutes for my parents dinner to arrive. I got a Chicken Caprese panini, the chicken was luke warm to the cold side and the dressing on it was barely warm; the side pasta salad was room temperature. My folks ordered the Hot Turkey Platter but when we sat down; the manager informed my parents that they ran out of Turkey, how can a new establishment run out of turkey; it should be fully stocked for a new restaurant; so they got the roast beef one instead, and even though it was pilled up; the mashed potato was luke warm to the cold side, the beef was warm, but the gravy and the vegetables were hot. We went to get deserts and a lot of the items weren't properly labeled and the case were out of certain deserts. The young lady that was helping us told my father when he asked if they had any New York Cheese cake, she replied "What you see in the case is what you get.", that was unprofessional for the most part. I don't know when we're going to be back to this location again, but it needs to do better for a new establishment. read more

I had a Reuben with a side of pasta salad, my husband had Italian sandwich with a side of potato salad. Both meals were good. Ambiance was nice. We sat near where the pizza is made. The cook was not wearing gloves as he handled the mozzarella cheese and pepperoni for the pizza toppings. In between pizza orders, he touched everything in sight and never washed his hands before prepping the next pizza order. Yuk! Another coworker came by and picked at the pepperoni and put it in his mouth. Another no no. Food was ok but if this carelessness is across the board when they make a meal, it's concerning.
