Every time my family and I visit Tara is extremely welcoming and helpful whether we need help with making a cake order or picking a topping to go well with a flavor. I'd say this review is more for Tara than the establishment because other employees along with the "manager" have been rude in the past. It's a little upsetting when we go in and taras not working as other employees are dismissive and don't care. She has great customer service and manners! read more

One star is to generous for this baskin robbins establishment. There was horrible mistreatment towards myself when entering with my service animal. They made me disclose what my medical issue was in front of a full store of customers. And the owner made a face when I told her what it was. I felt so uncomfortable I didn't get my ice cream that I had wanted for my birthday treat. read more

I love this particular Baskin Robbins. The parking is easy, the staff is friendly and they are always very generous on the toppings. I tend to come here at least once a month to get my banana split fix. No chocolate sauce, no cherry, but extra roasted almonds por favor! It's perfect every time :) read more

Social distancing is tough, especially with children. Employees should be mindful how you speak to customers when they come in with kids. Rude employees who bark at customers is not ok. It's stressful for all of us, but don't be mean or rude - we're in this together. Shame on you. read more

by far most disrespectful employees here. I went on 10/12, and they had some groups in there playing some game, and the EMPLOYEES let them scream on the top of thier lungs while customers were trying to order, the damn employees couldnt hear us, and i swear THEY ALOUD THESE people to play a damn game INSIDE this place, if you have gone in there you will know there isnt MUCH ROOM!!! i left there with a head ache and i dont think i will ever come back here again, those employees dont know shit. Baskin Robbins is Baskin Robbins. This is a clean, well-kept place. It's in a very convenient location. I work about 4 minutes away from this and every now and then, I'm here buying scoops of ice cream for me and my co-workers (they pay, I pick-up) LOL. On the way home today I was expecting an important call and of course my first thought was to park my car and get a couple of scoops of ice cream to wait it out. Clever huh? On my way home I was craving some ice cream next thing you know there's a Baskin Robins on my left hand side. Am usually more of a Rite Aid/Thrifty ice cream kind of gal but I decided to stop anyway. Bomb banana royal or banana split(bigger size of the banana royal. Been to this location over the past few years and cant complain. The staff is always quick with the flow of customers whether its full house or not they get you in and out quick. love there ice cream. when i was a kid i use to go to the one in Canoga park few miles away. In the same shopping center as smart and final and sharkeys Mexican restaurant. They had the usual selections plus a couple of new flavors. Priced pretty much the same as the other stores, and the two guys working there were pleasant. The tables and floors seemed pretty clean too. read more

I've been buying cakes for my daughters birthday here for 26 years. They were always amazing.... Until this year. Worst cake ever. They no longer ice the cake with ice cream. They use a nasty whip cream concoction that leaves an after taste. They also don't use as much frosting, using the whip cream instead. The decorator mixes her own colors creating some really bad colors. They don't tell you they changed things so when I set the cake out 15 minutes before serving so it could be cut, the cake began melting quickly. I sent email of complaint to BR corporate who promptly responded saying owner would contact me..... Crickets. Today I stopped in and asked if store is under new ownership..... Yep... That explains it but still so disappointing. The previous owners were AMAZING!!!! Hope they're enjoying retirement but they are already missed. read more

I'm not sure what "jerky teenagers" worked here before, but I can assure you that they've been replaced with very polite, hard-working teenagers. We live right down the road and visit often and are always greeted and served with enthusiasm. I did have one issue: I ordered an ice cream cake for my daughter's 6th birthday. When I arrived to pick it up, the order had been misplaced. Here's the kicker and why they get 5 STARS from me: upon recognizing that the order had been lost, the owner/manager explained that it had been misplaced, asked when it needed to be ready by and, are you ready for this, asked my address so that they could deliver it! And, not only did they deliver to me, they gave me a gallon of Cookies and Cream for my trouble. This may be the last place in L.A. where this kind of service exists! Kudos to the staff and owners for going the extra mile!!!! read more

Just received the worst customer service from one of their staff members. Instead of asking if I needed any help or if I was ready to order, I was just stared at. No acknowledgement after I received my order either. I was just given my order, without a receipt and without a single word being said to me. The other 2 staff members were very friendly with the customers they were helping though...wish I was helped by them instead. It's obvious that this guy hates his job, and helping customers. I can see why the other reviews mention the jerky teenager. Will never come back again...rather drive the extra miles to go to the one on Platt. read more

Went in to buy a pre-packed quart of the mint chocolate chip for $5.99. They were out of it. I asked the gentleman if I could get the same flavor in hand packed quart size container and he had the nerve to try and want to charge me $7.99. He tried to claim I would be getting more ice cream. Right. I said just weigh it to the amount that I would be getting for the $5.99 pre packed quart. He said he wasn't allowed to do that. Funny how he is the manager and paid to make those decisions and said no to a customer willing to buy and pay. It wasn't my fault they were out of the flavor. I asked for the same amount for same price and he would not do it. I find it interesting that other shops have done this for me in the past. These people are scammers and exhibit poor business practices here. Do not go here! read more

Good staff, but that doesn't matter when they are out of pre-packed quarts of pralines and cream or mint chocolate chip so often. It's worth the extra miles to go to Granada Hills, where they always have my flavors stocked and they sell 2 quarts for $9 and 3 quarts for $12. I used to get a one scoop sunday to go and I kept wondering why the ice cream would be all melted by the time I got home. However, when I would purchase the same thing from a farther location The ice cream would not be melted when I got home. One week ago my boyfriend and I went to the Chatsworth location to get our usual ice cream, one scoop sunday for me and one scoop in a cup for him, and I noticed the one scoop sunday was prepared with half of the ice cream than my boyfriend's one scoop in a cup. That is why my ice cream was all melted by the time I got home I was being given half the ice cream every time! They had been charging me more for less ice cream! Needless to say I have not been back to the Chatsworth location. I refuse to support businesses that cheat their customers. read more

Been going to this Baskin Robins since I was a small kid. Have to say, really disappointed the last three times I've been in. They have been out all three times of the Chocolate Fudge and all within the same month. You guys really need to keep more inventory available for when you run out. read more

I grew up in the Valley and frequented this particular store through my teenage years. When I recently moved back I started taking my kids here. And I have been pleasantly surprised at what I found. Every time I go there the girls behind the counter, despite being teenagers, have been very nice. The store is super clean. And the selection is great. Soft serve, coffee drinks, and new items make it more than 31 flavors. Even the $1 tuesday night scoop promotion hasn't made it crowded enough on any visit where we couldn't get a table. read more

Don't go here if you re looking for party treats. I called two days in advance for 100 ice cream bite cakes and was told that I didn t need to preorder, they always have plenty. Thankfully (otherwise my event would have been ruined) I told the employee how many I needed and when she found out it was 100, then it was a problem. When an employee has no idea how to take a special order (and has to call the manager for direction) - it s time to steer clear. By the time she called the manager and got back to me, it was supposedly too late to order (30 hours in advance is 'too late'?) Advice to the owner of this location: if you re going to hire incompetents please make sure there is always someone with a brain working the store.
