This Baskin Robbins store has been here in Westlake ever since I can remember ... which would be since winter of 1978 when my family moved into neighboring Broadmoor (which was actually Colma at the time). Love it here! Classic Baskin Robbins ice cream shop with the famous ice cream coolers that actually warm up the place (ironic that the freezers make it warm enough that you'll most-likely order more ice cream!), and a few tables along the other side for eating in. Service here has always been fast. I've never ordered anything beyond a scoop or two, so now I have something to work toward! :-D Again, love it here and will continue treating myself with my usual scoop of Mint Chocolate Chip. read more

Came here after doing Color Me Mine and it was a convenient location but it was a pretty dirty interior. We got a free dragon hat which was a fun thing to get as adults. The staff did let us try a bunch of different flavors which was nice and ordering was decently fast, it was just that the ice cream was just okay. I liked the sample flight since we got to try 4 different flavors and it was really nice to get so much ice cream + the waffle cone cookie for like $10. I asked for a scoop of Caramel Turtle Truffle and scoop of Mint Chocochunk (non-Dairy). They promptly filled my order and did some suggestive selling. Baskin and Robbins is my childhood. I've been going to this location since I was a small child. It is just a solid ice cream shop with a lot of flavors and treats. I don't know why they are rated so low. I enjoy their banana split a lot. My son loves the mint chocolate chip on a sugar cone. I'll also buy a jamoca almond fudge pint to go. They didn't do neither. I ordered a large and was charged a Large, not a Medium. Came in for a classic Sunday. I asked for vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, the whipped cream and peanuts. They took my money made the order and when served I noticed it was made with almonds. I'm sorry but what makes a Sunday magical is chopped peanuts and almonds just don't cut it. The server should've told me they didn't have peanuts when I made the order. I mean sure, different locations may give you different service or ambiance, but at the end of the day, it's still Baskin Robbins. From Cotton Candy to Pistachio, Classic Rocky Road, or Cookies & Creme, to basic staples such as Chocolate and Vanilla, to fruit sorbets, everyone's taste is equally represented. You can choose a cup or cone option as well, which is typical for any ice cream shop. You can also find deals such 2 for 10 for a whole pint of ice cream to take home. Baskin also has a selection of ice cream cakes (cost around $20-30) which is one of my favorites ever whenever my birthday comes around. You can also ask the staff to customize it for you to add a greeting or a name on the cake itself. As for the service and location, the service is good from my experienfes. The times I have visited this place, staff has been very attentive and helpful. They've also given out samples which is always helpful if you're indecisive like I am. The store itself is very clean and well kept. The location might be the only con because Westlake does seem to get congested in terms of finding parking. If you find yourself craving ice cream and you're in the area, don't look any further, this is the place to fulfill those cravings! read more
