Ordered this turkey shaped cake from Baskin Robbins for Thanksgiving. All the guests thought it was super creative. Inside is a sort of Oreo ice cream and the outside is caramel. Also the two drumsticks are waffle cones. They were a little soggy though

Picked up a B'day ice cream cake for a friend from here. Fudge Crunch FTW. It was well-received and disappeared quickly. Wish they had kept the soft serve on top instead of the whipped cream though.

This place is small and usually pretty busy. People who work here are nice and helpful. Prices seem a little steep, but I think it's the norm nowadays. Can't go wrong with jamoca almond fudge.

851 Cherry Ave, Ste 9 San Bruno, CA 94066 "Baskin-Robbins" at the Bay Hill Shopping Center in San Bruno, CA. My first impression was it's your average Baskin-Robbins (BR) shop. I was there on a Saturday, around 12:30, after attending a restaurant grand opening a few doors down. As I entered, the young lady greeted me as she served another group. I ordered 3 scoops in a cup- Strawberry Cheesecake, Chocolate Fudge, and jamoca. Now, I have been to several other BR locations in the past year. The high prices vary slightly, but what's different is the scoop size. Maybe it depends on who is doing the scooping, but I received fairly good sized scoops. I compare this to the "golf ball size" scoops I received at the Millbrae BR location (Broadway Ave). There's some tables for enjoying your ice cream there. Free parking in the shopping center lot. The shop itself was neat and clean. Staff was nice. Bay Hill Shopping Center is near I-280 and San Bruno Ave.

We ordered a turkey ice cream cake ($45.99) and it turned out great! It was the highlight of our Thanksgiving lunch and we all took photos and videos. The store staff was very friendly and a live person answered the phone each time I called. It was my first time ordering so I had a couple questions. I placed the order online and they require at least 24 hours. The website lets you pick the ice cream flavor (I chose strawberry) and what, if anything, you want written, plus color. The cake was fun and tasted good. This Baskin Robbins is located inside the mall with Mollie Stone. There's plenty of parking and it's close to highway 101 and 380 so very convenient.

Located in San Bruno's Bayhill Shopping Center, this Baskin Robbins is my family's go-to spot for ice cream since it's just a few minutes drive from our house.  BR is probably my current favourite ice cream parlour chain, just not necessarily this specific location. While you can count on ample parking in the lot and the assurance of authentic Baskin Robbins ice creams, inventory of flavours isn't guaranteed...nor is good service.  They tend to run out of Jamoca quite a bit and/or don't carry new/seasonal flavours like Ube Coconut Swirl.  Quality of service is just as unpredictable; sometimes the staff is as cold as their freezers and then within a snap of a finger, they appear to catch themselves and warm up.  In short, team members behave like they have chips on their shoulders or don't enjoy dealing with customers, thus friendliness doesn't feel genuine. Heads-up: scoop sizes are also undeniably smaller than expected - my husband and I found that they consistently serve kids scoops for Banana Royale Sundaes.  Very disappointing.   Sometimes tables are clean, sometimes they are not. In all honesty, I would prefer to give my business to a different Baskin Robbins (Millbrae is more welcoming and offers better flavour options), but since this locale is the closest to our residence, we come here with low expectations...   Customer experience can be under par and jipping on scoops is common practice...but you can always depend on the true Baskin Robbins taste to turn your frown upside-down, especially if you are in and out in a jiffy.UsefulFunnyCool

I always forget there's a Baskin Robbins at the Bay Hill Plaza. I love going to this Baskin Robbins versus the Daly City one because it's typically less crowded and more calm or quiet in the area. I also never have issues with parking. I love all their flavors, but my go to for today was their: - Holiday Peppermint - Wild and Reckless - Chocolate Peanut Butter Service was great, fast, and ice cream delicious always! Staff was personable, patient, and kind. DEFINITELY, COMING BACK REAL SOON FOR MY BASKIN ROBBINS FIX!

They normally only open for dinner on Saturdays, but they opened specially for our event, which already says a lot about their generosity and flexibility. I chose this restaurant because I had dined here for lunch a few times before, and every experience had been wonderful. The food is consistently delicious, even something as simple as the bread and olive oil stands out. The pricing is very reasonable for the quality. The interior is beautiful, with high ceilings that make the space feel open, elegant, and perfect for a large gathering. The service has always been good, but for an event of this size, I honestly didn't expect the food and service to maintain such a high standard. I was completely wrong in the best way possible. We were given SIX entrée options for our guests to choose from, which is impressive for a large party. Every dish came out hot, well-prepared, and absolutely delicious. They also offered us a very generous price, knowing that we are teachers celebrating our principal's retirement. That level of kindness did not go unnoticed. We brought our own cakes to save on costs and had asked in advance if the cake-cutting fee could be waived if we handled it ourselves. To our surprise, on the day of the event, the servers stepped in and kindly offered to cut and serve the cakes for us anyway. That gesture meant so much and really elevated the entire experience. The owner was incredibly easy to work with and very accommodating throughout the entire planning process. He had quite a few staff members working our event, and every single one of them was friendly, attentive, and helpful. They even offered my principal a complimentary glass of wine, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the celebration feel even more special. It's rare to find a place that delivers exceptional food, a beautiful venue, and such heartfelt service all at once, especially for a group of this size. Great people, great food, great venue, and outstanding service! I am incredibly grateful to the entire team for helping us create such a memorable celebration. Highly, highly recommend for both small meals and large special events.

She said she wrote on the reservation "Birthday" and we were seated promptly. Staff were kind and the location is beautiful. It's been in SSF since 2018 and when I looked at the menu, it was nice to see Cafe Figaro as another sister restaurant with the same owner. I love Cafe Figaro and have had a lot of pleasant experiences there! We ordered some wine to start and eventually ordered the watermelon salad and I got the Linguine fruitti di mare. Initially things seemed okay, we got our wine quickly. Servers were smiling. There were 2 servers. We got a watermelon salad with no utensil to serve it, but the server left SO quickly before we could ask. We had to wait a few minutes and then had to ask another server for a spoon. I think that's when we started noticing that the two servers helping on our side were just walking SO fast. It kind of made the ambiance feel rushed and oddly stressful. Like, we are not rushing to eat. BTW we got a reservation for 745pm but they also accept reservations for 8pm. They close at 9pm...(more on this later). We ate calmly when our food came. The food itself was very delicious. However, the service made the whole experience lackluster and incredibly disappointing. I still didn't like how rushed the servers were walking around. I also felt like they were checking often to see how we were doing or if we were done. I felt like I couldn't really eat in peace (being watched but in an odd, invasive way). It was getting to be 8:55 (which we hadn't noticed the time as much), but we asked for a box for my dish to go. I was barely finishing putting it away in the box and the server already came to try to take my plate. I was like "I'm not even done...". RUSHING US. The main server then just came to drop off a check. At NO point did they ask us if we wanted dessert or even earlier on, to say "Btw the kitchen is closing soon, would you like to order dessert.". He just brought the check. We asked, could we order dessert? The server was like "I don't know. I'd have to ask the kitchen but they may not allow it." We were like "Nvm then." We were already annoyed with the situation. I noticed it was 8:57 and one of the servers was already tearing off all the tablecloths from the table. It was very evident they wanted us all out but I guess in other restaurants, even if it's past 9 (a little past 9), they understand that people may trickle out slowly. It wasn't even 9 yet and it already felt they wanted us all out. Especially how rushed they felt overall. When the server came, he said "next time, desserts on me" and I said "there's not going to be a next time." I explained how stressed and rushed it felt, especially with them rushing from table to table like it was a race, and that it was for a birthday and they didn't even give us a heads up to purchase dessert. He kept saying " I don't think I rushed you" and didn't really apologize. My sister too explained she even wrote this was for a birthday and that they were just making us feel like we needed to hurry. We ended up going to Cochinita next door to get dessert and they were so kind, not rushing. I should have gone there instead for dinner or any other Italian place. If you don't want people there at 9pm, don't accept reservations at 7:30, or 7:45 or 8pm. You will be kicked out 40 minutes within your meal as you will see they are subtly trying to kick you out. Go somewhere else where you won't feel rushed and will have a much more pleasant experience. This was surprising to me because I've been to Cafe Figaro multiple times and I've always had such a good experience. Here felt so odd like I was in a diner or a more informal place where it is more normal for waiters/servers to be rushing from table to table. It was an unpleasant experience and would recommend another spot instead with a more pleasant eating experience.

Both times I went for the breakfast burrito. Big fan of the veggie breakfast burrito with added bacon :) The chipotle sauce is the liquid gold! I find potatoes and hash browns to be fillers when not extra crispy for texture. Sadly they were filler here but so far they are light handed on the filler so all is right in the burrito. Did well on my request for light cheese as well. Ambiance reminds me of all my favorite cafes and tea shops with the artsy flare, welcoming colors, tons of plants, and some cool jams. Can definitely see them having a local artist showcase or local concert or open mic night. It's easy to say I'm in the Bay when you don't live in San Francisco. The Airports can be confusing for a visitor looking to travel from and to SFO Airport in San Francisco on the same place where you can enter the Golden Gate Bridge or Bay Bridge. Then there is the Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport which causes more mass confusion especially for those catching BART from and to the Coliseum in Oakland. There is one BART stop along the way which you can go to SFO and Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport it's the San Bruno BART station. This is a good place for a pit stop along the way . When traveling by car there is plenty of parking and the shopping mall . Inside you will find a place with sweet and sour ice treats. It's located inside Tanforan Mall and it's called San FRoYo On my last stroll to Barnes and Nobles bookstore at Tanforan which is closing this Saturday on May 2 for good, I went to San FRoYo because the Starbucks and Cheesecake Factory mash up inside Barnes and Nobles is shut down forever. Inside San FroYo you can choose to get sweet and sour lemonade , smoothies and self serve frozen yogurt in a cup. I got fancy vanilla froyo topped with purple taro. The fancy vanilla was not too sweet but the top of purple taro was a bit sour. All that was missing was the cherry on top ( they ran out of cherries). Since I just watched the Michael Jackson movie I selected from the Smooth Criminal Smoothie Menu and got the Mango and Peach Paradise. It was refreshing and tasty with a bit tarty. This place is good to hide from the rain or sun and enjoy something refreshing. Remember San FroYo is located in San Bruno ( not the Avenue in SF) and not in SF. Visit Tanforan mall before it closes and come by car, motorcycle, bus, BART, feet , and"scooters" you can even catch Lyfts and "Ubers" I miss those days when the mall was thriving and busy seeing people hanging in groups and even spot some "Army recruiters" and I miss the days when they use to have a "Hooters" Barnes and Nobles by next week will be gone in Tanforan and this happened to a Creamery called "Cold Stone" so I went to to get FroYo at San FRoYo its only serve in a cup and not a "cone" Tanforan in the future will turn into a Biotech office , retail, and housing also known as a "Flex Zone" but you will see airplanes in the sky from SFO like the one recently which dodged a "drone"

He explains there aren't many flavors left because most of his business is through online orders. We asked him to help us pick out 4 cupcakes, and he was pretty chatty about them all. After we picked out our 4 cupcakes, he gave us one for free (wow - thanks so much). That took the sting out of $6 cupcakes. The place is a bakery and store front, but no seating. They have cupcakes, mochi donuts, savory muffins, and various drinks. Their baked good are made with rice flour and coconut milk, so their cupcakes are light and moist. They kinda have a mochi-coconut flavor, but not the sticky mochi texture. Most of their cupcakes have some type of filling inside, which adds to the moistness. All their flavors are really creative, and some of the ones we got today I don't even see on their online menu. The instructions say best served heated for a few seconds, but I found the cream gets too melty. It tastes fine without heating imo. What we got: + Ube cookies and cream - ube and coconut forward. Yum. + Guava - this had a dollop guava jam on top and some squirted inside too. The guava adds just the perfect bit of tartness to the cupcake. + Nutella - there's a dollop of nutella on top that fills part of cupcake inside. + Churro Biscoff - pretty gooey inside, which may be due to heating it a few seconds. Still very yummy. It's a good thing I don't live close to one of these stores or I'd be here every day. I prefer these to Sprinkles cupcakes for the same price point.
