If I could give this place a zero I would. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. We ordered a scoop of daiquiri ice which obviously has rum, but it tasted terrible, like plastic. When I brought it up to the female worker she then told the male worker about it. His response to me saying that it tasted like plastic was " well did you read the description?" I then said the description said it tastes like plastic? He then proceeded to say well it has rum in it which the description states, which is fine, but it did not taste like rum. Very disappointed. We have the Baskin Robbin's apt and was going to use the mix and match deal for $15.00. When we get there I tell the staff member I want to use the deal and show her on my phone. She states, "let me ask my manager". A little puzzled as to why she needs to ask because the deal is on their app and doesn't say not available at specific locations only. She then calls her manager on the phone and once done comes back and says, you can use it but only on 3 different items. She then starts preparing my order and when we are done goes to the register and says she has to separate the order so we can get the deal. I pay $12.08 and then she wants to charge me $18.00 after that. I say to her, but that's not the deal. She then says that 2 of the items I ordered were the same so I couldn't use the coupon. I show her again on the app, it clearly states mix and match. I also show her that if I had ordered via the app, I could have gotten 3 of the same items for $15.00. She says she's sorry and can clearly see that the deal worked but the manager told her no. So clearly this manager does not follow directions and makes up his own rules. If I could give this place zero stars I would. HORRIBLE service! Place was empty and he was rushing and I'm a bad mood. My son said can I have "chocolate chip mint" and he served him a chocolate chip ice cream. I told him he didn't ask for that and he gave me a death stare and said no. It was empty inside, I got my ice cream (fairly quick) but as I was walking out I coukd feel a lot of air in it, which is probably why it didn't take long to get. The gentleman that helped us was great! He was very interactive with my toddlers which is always such a huge bonus at any business! The scoops were a good size and the icecream was delicious! Incredible 2 tiny scoop barely any topping, whip cream, or nuts. I haven't gone to Baskin-Robbins for over 2 years because of the unfriendly service and how cheap they are with the ice cream. Yep, it has not change at all. I should of just gone across the street to La Michoacana. When you order a single scoop or Banana Split they truly fill it up the cup way above the top. Hello, I'm writing to report a very disappointing experience at one of your Baskin-Robbins locations. I visited to redeem my free birthday scoop, but the store was dirty, and the man working there (who I believe is the owner) was rude and unprofessional. He stayed on his phone, didn't greet us, and seemed irritated that we were even there. When I tried to scan my birthday QR code, it didn't work--but he scanned it anyway and gave us nothing. The code disappeared after we left, and we walked out with no ice cream and a really negative impression. This was supposed to be a fun birthday moment, but instead, it left a bad taste. It was a Friday evening, I had a massive craving for ice cream, so I decided to drop by La Habra's Baskin Robbins. Nothing out of the ordinary happened. I ordered my two scoops of ice cream: Jamoca and old fashionel butter pecan on a waffle cone. It tasted great! No weird items found in the ice cream, no rude customer service, no fuss, no rush, no dirtiness, etc. I am mentioning all of this because of former reviews I have read. Nothing. The clearest sign of a failing business, a stingy franchise owner. My husband and I were going to redeem our individual free bday single scoop offers today. His bday is two days after mine, my bday is today. I asked the man for one scoop in a cup and as soon as I showed him my bday QR code he changed his facial expression and tone and asked me looking visibly upset that I needed to let him know ahead of time, I'm assuming because he was planning on giving me a smaller scoop than the already small single scoop I got. Then when my husband was about to order his bday single scoop on his own account he denied him and said that we count together and he would not honor it. I told him he has his own account and that he is also redeeming it for his own bday but he refused. They had already shut and locked the business long before closing time. The employees unlocked the door but basically refused to serve us because the flavors we wanted were "out" (which really meant put away in the freezer.) Tbh, I don't get most of the 1 star reviews here. It's not like you would expect world class service at a baskin-robbins paired with the world's best ice cream here (although sure it would be a plus). The cashier did come out a couple minutes into me being there, but that gave me plenty of time to look at flavors. He wasn't the nicest person in the world, but he did his job! It wasn't something that would ruin my experience or make me mad. I came here and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of flavors that were available. This location definitely has a few more than the other ones I've been to. The worker had a mask on and was very nice to me and my girlfriend.
