Not sure what the customer service was like but a friend of mine surprised me and some other classmates for our birthday with a giant heart shaped cookie from Mrs. Fields. I liked that you could customize it like a birthday cake (they don't sell cakes I think). I didn't get to eat the cookie cake but I was able to take home a slice for my boyfriend to try and he said it was delicious :) I do adore the presentation and size of the heart cookie though. The cookies 4/5 for taste/texture. Maybe a little too sweet for some people. It's all preference. I do however feel like it's overpriced unless you buy their bundle sale. Individually, they are $3 each which is ridiculous but if you buy 6 cookies, they come out to be $2 each. Kind of sucks for people who wants to only eat one or two. From location to location, they are consistently yummy. At this locale, we purchased a Dozen Nibblers for $5.99. We shared our treats with our nieces. Service was good, but they made a mistake which costed them one star from me. They shorted me a cookie. Sure, I could have returned to tell them. I love Mrs. Fields cookies, the first time I had them they had every nibbler flavor and I got to try them all. Now every time I go, they have little to no flavors so I always pass. It's Teacher's Appreciation Week and dropping by Mrs. Field's cookies to pick up some boxes (of mini cookies) for our favorite teachers was a must! Because most customers don't want to get stuck in those crazy crowds, it's so nice that this Mrs. Field's location isn't in the food court. Located near Ann Taylor and Guess, the smell of delicious cookies beckons as you shop. It's ingenious really; it's difficult trying to avoid the smell of chocolate chip while shopping at your favorite stores. This is a great place to grab a cookie and soda to go. There are also a few tables out in front (near the escalators) to take a quick break from shopping to enjoy your drink and cookie. It's nice to get re-energized before finishing some serious power shopping! They have some beautiful cookies in the glass case. The large Mother's Day cookies were hard to resist! I might have come back and buy one of these huge cookies for a special occasion. They were so cute! Customer service was great here as well. Since I wasn't sure what to get the teachers, the salesperson was so thoughtful in helping me decide what to get the wonderful folks that teach our kids! What a great place to buy amazing cookies! I rationalized that it must have been the person baking that day so i went back against my better judgement. Nope. I don't get Mrs. Fields Cookies (MF) often, but if I'm at the mall and have a serious cookie craving--or just need a small snack to tide me over until my next meal--I'll usually make a pit stop here. These cookies remind me of my favorite cookies from The Cookie Corner, back in Hawaii. Although they're not identical, MF features cookies that are soft, chewy, fresh and not outrageously expensive ... so I always can find something that I like from there. What I order from MF ultimately depends on my mood, but one thing's for sure -- something chocolaty will be in the mix. I'll usually get two cookies, since I can never settle on just one flavor. I usually order the regular sized cookies (not the mini ones), unless I'm craving a brownie. Here are some of the flavors I've tried from MF: "Milk Chocolate Chip": Even though I don't mind dark chocolate, if I'm wanting something traditional, nothing really beats this milk chocolate chip cookie. Best fresh, this cookie features a good amount of chocolate chips throughout so you can enjoy some cocoa in every single bite. I really like the cookies from MF because they're super soft, chewy, buttery and moist ... definitely prefer tender cookies over crunchy, crispy cookies. "Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chip": This is basically the bakery's version of a dark chocolate chip cookie (blend of dark and milk chocolate), so if you want a cookie that's not as sweet as some of the other options, this one provides the perfect solution. It tasted pretty similar to the milk chocolate, except for the fact that you get that slight hint of dark chocolate. I love how there's a lot of chocolate chip featured throughout this cookie as well. "White Chunk with Macadamia Nuts": My mom got this cookie once and I had a bite of hers ... and I was surprised at how much I liked it. I normally am not a huge fan of white chocolate, but I think I really liked this cookie because it contained macadamia nuts. Of course, being from Hawaii, any dessert that includes macadamia nuts is a plus. "Peanut Butter": Since I absolutely love the flavor of peanut butter, if there's no peanut butter-chocolate combo option available, sometimes I'll just settle on peanut butter itself. While I do enjoy crunchy peanut butter cookies (that's the exception to my "no hard cookies" rule), soft and chewy peanut butter cookies have a special spot in my heart. I especially like it if the cookie features a super strong peanut butter flavor that I can richly taste and smell. "Milk Chocolate Chip with M&Ms": Because M&Ms are my favorite candies, this cookie has to be one of my favorites. Cookies with candy chunks in them can be hit or miss, since sometimes they hardly feature any of the candy bits, but the MF version is right on point. The cookie is chewy, tender and generously studded with M&Ms, reminding me of my ultimate favorite "M&M" cookie from The Cookie Corner. Since I don't have access to my beloved Hawaii cookie store on the mainland, sometimes the M&M cookie from MF is as good as it gets. "Cinnamon Sugar": I get this cookie ever once in a while because it reminds me of a snickerdoodle, so if I'm in the mood for that, the cinnamon sugar is sure to satisfy. "Double Fudge Brownie": I've gotten this brownie before since I love chocolate, and it definitely didn't disappoint. I've always had a weakness for brownies, and I really enjoyed this moist, chewy and fudgy concoction. If you're a serious chocoholic, this one's for you. The brownie is soft both on the outside and inside, featuring a denser, compact texture (instead of a light and cakey texture). I like brownies as long as they're soft and chewy, so every bite was a little slice of heaven for me. "Frosted Fudge Brownie": I was eyeing this brownie because it featured more chocolate frosting on top, but I haven't tried it yet (opted for the "Double Fudge" version instead). However, if I am craving something with a little more sweetness (from the frosting), I wouldn't hesitate to give this brownie a try. "Cookie Sandwich": I noticed this sweet treat on my last visit to MF, and though I didn't order it, it looked intriguing. It features creamy frosting in between two cookies--basically an ice cream cookie sandwich sans the ice cream--and depending on what flavors are available (not sure if flavors are pre-set or you could mix and match), I would love to try this option sometime. "Cookie Cups": These bite-sized pieces are not only adorable, but they're the perfect pick-me-up if you just want a tiny bit of something sweet (reminds me of something like a mini cupcake). These cookies come topped with a dollop of frosting, so they're definitely cute ... but not too cute to eat! read more

Every year since I turned 18, my cousin has gotten me one of those gigantic chocolate chip cookies from Mrs. Fields for my birthday. And the pass few years my cousin has been asking me: "Are you getting tired of the cookie? Just let me know so I can get you something else." COLD EMPLOYEES AND BAD COOKIES! Seriously how can you mess up cookies?!! I've been to the Orange location numerous times and have always been satisfied with the service and the quality of their cookies. My mom knows how much I love Mrs. Fields nibbler cookies and took me here to make me feel better since I always feel so sick and rarely to go out into the mall. We make a big mistake coming here! When we looked at the display case of the nibblers they were ALL EMPTY! It's the middle of the day and there's no cookies?! There was no other customers so there's no excuse for why they didn't restock! The young female employee was so COLD & RUDE I could have reached over the counter and smacked her! Normally the Orange location offers 20 nibblers for $5.00 so my mom and I start ordering and when we ask her about the special she gives us a whack excuse saying "we only do that as a closing special" UM SERIOUSLY?! Did you just make that up because you didn't want to go to the back and get fresh cookies?! LAZY! Their was nothing left to pick from except Chocolate and a few sugar cookies! She did not want to go get new ones at all! These cookies were clearly the bottom of the barrel and were leftovers! She should have taken them away and put fresh ones out! I asked for the cookie to say "STEVE STRONG" and it says "STEVE STROG" I wanted to do something special for my uncle who has cancer and whoever did the cancer ribbons on this cookie didn't even care or know how to make a cancer ribbon and the writing looks terrible as well.. This has been my go to Mrs. Fields for years. They are consistent, which is most important in a franchise that has been around for so many years. The cookies and brownies still taste exactly the same as they didn't when I was a child. The staff here is always friendly and extremely helpful. Its so nice to always be greeted with such a big smile! I am a brownie junky! Their double chocolate brownie is super moist, has the perfect amount of chocolatey goodness and has large chocolate chips which add to the experience. If you're a cookie monster the dozen nibblers are always a great choice. You can mix and match sugar, chocolate chip or white chocolate chip cookies to name a few. After realizing that I didn't know what I wanted as soon as I leisurely approached the display area, she practically rolled her eyes and went back to whatever she was doing behind the counter. The minute or two that I stood there in silence, the employee didn't acknowledge me at all, and I considered leaving. Walk away! my subconscious told me, so I can avoid feeling guilty about eating the cookie later. But eventually I did catch her attention, I asked her if I could try one of the samples that she had laid out (yet out of reach), and got one of that. She asked me if that was all and I answered 'mmhm' since I was still trying the sample. She impatiently asked me again, louder this time, with the irritation clear in her voice, if that was all. Okay I called here to place an order because I wanted to ask my girlfriend to a dance by bringing her to the mall and saying "hey let me buy you a cookie" then show her the big cookie that's has writing that says "homecoming?" But it was impossible... Anyways the manager picked up the phone. I said "hi I would like" then the manager just interrupted me and said "how many people are you serving?!" In just the ugliest tone and I could hardly understand her because she talks so fast. Then I said "well can you listen to me so I can ask what I want?" She says again "how many people are you serving" Then I finally said "1 person... How big is the diameter (width- how wide it is) for the single person cookie?" She responds "ummm.... It's half the size of paper" me "how big is the paper?" Her " it's a... Computer size piece paper from a printer" me "is this like a 4x4 inch cookie or what?" Her tone is like she is annoyed and angry and says it fast "idk its just that size" me "you know what never mind your being your being very unhelpful thank you" and i hung up.
