First and foremost, this is not the first bad experience I have had at this location. The service is always awful and we are always made to feel like we are an inconvenience to even be there. Yesterday, my fiance', daughter and I went in at 11:12 am to go see about ordering her birthday cake for her party today. I saw online you can order 24 hours ahead of time and it will be ready for pick up the next day. Cool. We drive up and the employee is just barely opening the store (which was supposed to be open at 11am...) and we walk in. He is slowing walking around not even acknowledging us and walks to the back for a a few moments. He then FINALLY walks over to us and I tell him we needed to order a cake. He says bluntly "when do you need it?" I told him tomorrow. He tells me no, I have to order online. I point at the sign on his register that shows you can order a cake 24 hours before it's needed. He tells me I can only do that online. Really? You would rather someone order ONLINE than in store? Bad decision on that Baskin-Robbins. He also mentions his cake decorator is on vacation. So I say "It wouldn't be done by tomorrow even if I DID go online" and he just stares at me. Whatever. So I order the darn cake online (NOT THE ONE WE CHOSE IN STORE, BY THE WAY. Small selection and my Frozen obsessed daughter had to get something else....) We set it for pick up at the Railroad location. We go to pick it up today and it was half the size it should have been! A half sheet of cake is 18 inches by 13 inches. This cake is like 8 inches by 9 inches.... DEFINITELY not enough for 8-12 people like it says... More like enough for 6 people. Anyway, I'm just so freaking irritated by this chain. I'm forever done going to ANY of these chains. Especially the one on Century. That guy needs some serious customer service skills. Not the first time he has been a grumpy jerk. Go spend the extra few dollars and go to Menchie's or Yogurt Pizazz. read more

Service was quick, helpful and friendly - five stars at least. Ice cream - 1 star. I got two scoops jamoca almond fudge, my absolute favorite and only reason I visit BR. Most of the almonds were soft and the rest were mushy. Ruined it for me. I've occasionally experienced this before at other BRs and the problem seems to be increasing. This ice cream is too expensive to be hit and miss. It's sad. I will miss the delicious ice cream I used to love. The scoops were on the small side. the pictures that are present on this page as I write this are a myth. I haven't seen scoops at BR this size in years. Fortunately, the price here is more reasonable than some other BRs. read more

Service by employee named Shelby was horribly rude. We were missing a banana royale sundae out of our order. We called to let them know, & Shelby was so rude, repeatedly insinuating that we were lying, saying they have no way to confirm if they threw away the missing item or it was given to a different customer, etc. After a 10 minute confrontation, we were told, "You can either come & get another one, or I can't help you". My cousin went back to get it, & was assisted by Shelby, who rudely told him she would make the missing sundae this one time, but wouldn't do it again. Once it made it to the family member who was missing her ice cream, she began to eat it & found that strawberry & pineapple puree was put on the sundae, when the banana royale does not call for it. It was then thrown away. We will continue to follow up with the manager Shelby told us would not be working tomorrow, so there's no way to contact him/her. Seriously??!!!! read more

I love Baskin Robbins but I was disappointed with this visit. I went with my daughter and we both got one scoop. She tried a sample buy after one bite she didn't like it, and I asked to exchange it. I was then charged again for another scoop. It just irked me cuz it was a little kid, and she only took one bite so it wasn't like I was trying to get extra for free. I know it was just a few dollars, but still...Customer service could be improved. read more

I'm kind of irritated by my visit tonight. My younger siblings who were visiting from 2 hours away wanted to grab some dessert after dinner. We mutually decided on Baskin Robins. I'm a HUGE fan of their ice cream, so it was a no brainier. Although, the blonde girl who was helping us out...wasn't very much help. Immediately when we walked in she asks "do you guys know what you want?!" And there wasn't a hi, hello, or welcoming face. I ignored that and said no, so the kids were picking out their ice cream and every question she was asking came off rude and we felt very rushed and Unwelcomed. My sister wanted to try the ice cream cookie sandwich and she was about to say what cookie she wanted and she was like "what cookies?" And my sister chose 1 flavor, and before she could even spit out the next cookie she was like "what other cookie is this it for you guys." And CLEARLY there were five of us. Why would our order be complete with three children and two adults?? We then ask for sprinkles on a cup of double scoop ice cream and she goes "uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..." Wait. What? You're going to say no? For what....the sprinkles were RIGHT in FRONT of our faces and yours! I was SO irritated. I've came here plenty of times and never been treated THIS bad. It made my younger siblings uncomfortable and not an enjoyable ice cream experience. Terrible. She never thanked us and walked away as soon as we handed her the signed receipt. After that, I waited because no one else was in there...and she came out and looked at me, the guy comes out and I was like can we have extra napkins...she just stands there doesn't say anything. One girl yells out " I don't want to help you go, go away" and she ducks behind the counter. How rude can you be?? I will not be coming here again until they do something about their service. Picked up an ice cream cake today for my daughter's 21st birthday. When we got home we noticed the inscription read "happy 21th birthday". When we called for help we were told to scrap off the 21th or drive all the way back fo the store for correction. No sorry for the inconvenience or here's a $2 coupon. read more

I've been to this Baskin Robbins a handful of times and I must say this was the dirtiest location I've ever been too. The floor was disgusting and the eating area tables were sticky. Garbage was strewn about the facility! Not to mention the area behind the counter where your ice cream is being served. The counter tops were messing with spills and melted ice cream. The employees were also not clean and the utensils they used to dish our your ice cream with was; let's say unsavory. I will never go back to this location again. Buyer beware! read more

My disappointment begins when I went to pick up an ice cream cake at Century Plaza Pittsburg that I had ordered days before, was not there. Apparently the person making cakes was off for a couple of days prior to my pickup. I guess no one else is capable of making one. The manager or anyone else could have called me letting me beware; I would have no cake for the Birthday Party I was giving. I became furious that I was going to be coming home to a house full of guests with no Birthday cake; the manager offered me an old orange cake off the shelf that was left over from Halloween. Totally inappropriate for a boys party. None the less we had our first Birthday with no cake... If they could of have made a simple call I would have made other arrangements. Thanks to their terrible management's inconsideration, I am asking everyone looking to order an Ice Cream Birthday cake to go elsewhere, to save you the true disappointment our family incurred. read more

Bottom Line- Awful Customer Service. I am an black woman. I watched a black man walk in before me and close the door behind him. I walked in a few moments later. When I walk in the lady helping him greets me. The two other (white) employees continue to chit chat. An Asian couple walks in after me. One of the girls proceeds to ask them what they would like. I say excuse me, I was next. She responds by saying "oh I thought you guys were together". I say " you didn't ask me either". After that it just went down hill. I asked for 2 small cups of icecream. Not two scoops, or a large ice cream. She (of course tries to give me one cup with double scoops. When I correct her there is no apology or anything. Don't ever assume that because people are the same race they are together. And your customer service sucks. Paid, turned to sit down (with my toddler ) place was FILTHY! Why are you chit chatting and every table is dirty?!!!!!!!!! Now we are eating in the car... NEVER AGAIN WILL I COME HERE. read more
