Photo of what we wanted printed

I wish I had read the reviews before I placed an order for my kids' birthday cake here this year. It seems everyone is getting their order incorrectly at this location and there's a lot of handwaving and finger pointing at other reasons why they shouldn't be held liable for the issues or mistakes. I'm sharing photos of what we wanted printed and what we received. I placed the order two days in advance and there was ample time for you to reach out to me if there was an issue. I could have provided another one if size was an issue or ordered a larger cake. Really unacceptable.

Another great birthday cake and great customer service! My daughter is a huge fan of pancakes.....so I was so excited when I saw they could make a cake that looks like pancakes. My daughter couldn't stop laughing when she saw her birthday cake this year. She loved it! Thank you!

It was alright. I couldn't really taste the cream or pralines. It was kind of watery. It was refreshing on a hot day though but needs more flavor.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Milkshake

Had a delightful visit to Baskin Robbins tonight. The store had a few customers in front of me when I arrived but the young man behind the counter, Amad if I recall correctly, was friendly and worked fluidly. When it was my turn he got to work right away making my shake. I told him I would like the shake to be thicker if possible and he obliged perfectly! The shake was the exact thickness I like and had a great taste! He was super sweet and I look forward to coming to this location again! Thanks for a great evening treat!!

This is our go to ice cream spot anytime we are in the area. This location is convenient located off the 15 freeway next to other yummy establishments like Olive Garden, Best Pizza, and Krispy Kreme. Parking is a bit tight when it's busy, but usually there are spaces to the side of the so it's easier to maneuver. We have visiting this location about 5 times in the past 3 months. Each time there have been young employees who have helped us and all have been friendly (except 1 who was busy talking to her friend vs helping customers). My new fave flavor is the Oreo Cold Brew which is Oreo pieces with coffee flavored ice cream. So good!!! The kids get traditional flavors such as chocolate and mint chip. Sometimes there's promos so check often. This location does give out bigger scoops which I def appreciate! Another location gave dinky portions for the amount BR charges for a single scoop!!! A few tables inside and outside to sit and enjoy your treats. You can ask the employees for water if needed.

I came to try the Chicken & Waffles flavor after getting an email. I was so curious how they were gonna make a chicken and waffle flavored ice cream BUT they didn't. It's just called Chicken and Waffles but didn't taste like them LOLOL it was basically just maple flavor so I decided to try the PB&J flavor for my actual scoop. The shop itself had a couple tables inside. For some reason, it was really warm in there and the air felt stuffy. There was only one very young girl working there who was really nice but couldn't really handle doing more than one thing at a time. I asked if she was alone and she said yes...I thought that was lame. What if she needs to use the restroom? Or needs help handling customers? I think she could have used a little help while we were there but she handled it. All in all, it was just OK.

Silly Monster Cake with Rocky Road Ice Cream and white Cake

I ordered two ice cream cakes online to pick up in store on a Saturday afternoon and the process was seamless. Employees wore all necessary PPE and I provided the employee my name and told them it was an online order and he came back out quickly with my 2 cakes. He opened up both cakes to show me and they looked exactly like the picture that was shown on the website. With the exception of spelling my nephew's name incorrectly the cakes tasted good and the birthday boy and girl were both satisfied with their silly monster and unicorn cake!

My friends and I were just looking to get a coffee in Little Italy, but when we walked in and saw all the delicious treats we had to try something else as well. I ordered a latte and neglected to tell them it was for here so I was given a paper cup, but they give real cups if you ask. The latte was good, and my friend bought a kitchen sink type cookie with chocolate, coconut, and macadamia nuts. It was warm and gooey good! Another friend tried the gelato and said it was very good. There are a few tables inside and tables out in front outside. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful San Diego weather. The decor and tables definitely gives you an old school Italian neighborhood vibe with Italian markets right next door. If I am in the neighborhood again, I would definitely come back here to try the gelato and/or a piece of an excellent looking lemon pie bar I spotted.

I've worked in Little Italy in the past but have never tried Caffe Italia. I got their Italian sandwich, with the default bread being focaccia. Inside there were prosciutto, salami, ham, provolone, tomato, and house made balsamic vinaigrette. It had a good balance of deli meats, and the focaccia bread was thick to hold it all together. I thought it was tasty as well as their coffee, however my coffee wasn't filled up all the way. It is strong and their roast is bold! I liked it a lot, although a lunch meal can get costly so it would just be from time to time if I were to revisit. Not only that, but they also have a small selection of gelatos which look pretty authentic like Spumoni! Other desserts I saw were mousse, tiramisu, cannoli, cheesecake, carrot cake, and rugelach.
