Went in to get some ice cream since we were in the area my grandchildren got to pick out the cutest little collaboration that they had dinosaurs and unicorns. Great customer service here. Their ice cream flavors are so good and that has so many! I recently came in to get a brownie sundae $9.49 + tax $0.90=$10.39 to go. There were about 3 people in front of me and I was in and out of there in 7-10 minutes. This time the young short girl with glasses helped me out. She was super kind and helpful. This particular Baskin-Robbins location in a shopping plaza located in San Dimas was clean and spacious. I saw the promotion outside and couldn't resist a cold, creamy sweet Cappuccino Blast (made with ice cream and real coffee!). They are running a promotion where each size is $2 off. I got the small for $5 and it did not disappoint. It was the perfect afternoon pick-me-up that I needed. The small size portion was generous and enough for me. You can never argue that there's a lack of variety at Baskin-Robbins. Such is the case with this location in San Dimas. There's not a lot to differentiate it from the rest of the other. BR locations, but that's not a bad thing. Service was quick, with two servers covering the front counter on the day of our visit, and both servers were pleasant as they worked in unison to complete our order. The decor is classic Baskin-Robbins with lots of festive posters advertising their seasonal fare and full display cases of cakes and pre-packaged goodies for purchase. As mentioned earlier, being that this is part of the BR franchise, you'll get what you expect. Don't forget to load up the kids to treat to a cone from here on a hot summer afternoon. read more

Ice cream is one of my favorite treat for a snack or dessert. Usually a sugar cone is my go to, but occasionally I will have a sundae or smoothie. Every December, I can't wait to have the Winter WHITE Chocolate flavor. We went to two locations and they didn't have it!! I did try a substitute flavor of MILK Chocolate Cherry Bark, it was tasty and had a nice crunch, but cannot compare! I came home, and called four locations, none have it. I was told it was not discontinued, though. Looks like I might have to wait 12 months. read more

It's right next door to Ocean Fish Grill and it's been a neighborhood staple for years. Baskin Robbins updates their flavors every now and then and there's always a new zany one that piques my curiosity. Their scoops are generous and heaving. I love their staff. They're efficient and friendly and don't get mad if I need to taste four or five flavors (and when I do, I always make it a point to buy something so I don't waste their time). I've bought ice cream cakes from them in the past for my son's birthday parties and they are such a hit! They don't melt too easily and aren't too sweet. We must protect this store at all costs! Let's patronize this place and make sure they continue to bless San Dimas with their sweet presence for decades to come. read more

Been to this location a couple of times, always tons of parking, tucked away in the corner, very clean store, not a ton of seating, if you have more than two you might not be able to sit together. No outdoor seating. Friendly helpful staff, lots of flavor, and prices as expected anywhere else. Would highly recommend and return. read more

With many cheap flavors to choose from, you can never go wrong stopping by Baskin Robbins in San Dimas. You may drive past it as it is set back so look for a Red Robin and turn into that parking lot. They do have some seating inside and the staff tends to be friendly. read more

To the young lady working at Baskin Robbins in the early afternoon of 6/29: Idk if you were scheduled for your shift to work by yourself by a clueless boss, or if the owner of this location is a cheap ass, or if people called off and you unfortunately had to work by yourself, but it's the middle of summer, so an ice cream spot is going to have a lot of foot traffic. This place is dishonest. They have a promotion for $2.99 kids scoops on Tuesdays from 5-10pm. I order my kids 2 scoops, instead of charging me $2.99 per scoop they proceed to charge me $7.50 for a kids double scoop. read more

THE STAFF ARE SO NICE HERE THEY HAVE SUCH DELICIOUS LOOKING ICE CREAM THAT MAKES ME WANNA SAMPLE ALL OF THEM. The inside is like a average Baskin Robbins but the welcoming staff make it even better. Very disappointed. I called in an order for a birthday cake on Thursday evening. I was assured it would be ready for Saturday afternoon. The girl who took my order but phone was pleasant and tried to be helpful, she gave me an e-mail that I could send a photo to them so they could decorate the cake with it. Prior to hanging up, the young lady, Emma, took down all the information. I did e-mail all the information (pick up date and time, type of ice cream and cake details, colors for the cake, the picture for the cake and even acknowledge the additional charge for a split cake in the body of the e-mail. I blind CC'd myself to ensure the e-mail went thru (which it did) and when I arrived I was told the e-mail was not received and that they tried to call, not 1 voice message was left, and the girl that was helping at the register had a grumpy attitude. I ended up coming out with a plain white cake with red writing and my son's name was not even spelled correctly. Instead of Nathan, they spelled NATAN. I gave 3 stars because at least the flavor of the cake was good and Emma was very nice. I will not be returning to this Baskin Robbins again. read more

Great service from the two young men working. Called ahead to ask for no sugar added flavors.. they had two..yippee for my diabetic Mom!!! Service was fast and vest of all friendly...love that these young men can make small talk with customers. This is what business' lacks these days. Please open a few more tables inside or move a few more outside. We had to eat on my tailgate. People sat and visited with no ice cream :-( read more

Parking is simple but busy. There's a side lot for customers; sign says, "2 Hour Parking." Staff is courteous, no-nonsense, and diligent. Staff worked hard. Staff quickly answered all my questions. My coffee took about three minutes. Good time. As mentioned, I ordered the Nitro Cold Brew ($9 - Large - 24oz). The coffee is very standard. It tastes exactly like any imagined cold brew coffee. Personally, the roast tasted a little burnt, but it's a common, familiar coffee flavor. The strength was weak for a nitro, but the HUGE SIZE and affordability balances it all out. This is a functional, budget drink. On ambiance, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) is a HUGE success. There's a lot of utility. The location has a self-serve water station, public internet with no password, stacked high chairs for children, two game corners (ex: Chess, Giant Connect 4, Giant Jenga, Uno Cards, Etc), and about one available electrical outlet. I also appreciated the retro, upbeat music and 1930s movie decor. In addition, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) has plenty of seating. There's about four interior tables, but there's also 16 outside patio tables. The location is clean, well-maintained, and well ventilated. They have some of the cutest kitchenware like strawberry themed jars, froggy glass cups, and sardine plates. For the matcha hobbyists, there are plenty of whisks and chawan bowls at reasonable prices. I've even scored two Hello Kitty cups from their clearance section.
