HORRIBLE!!! We've been twice so far & now we will NEVER Be coming back to this location EVER AGAIN! Both times we came in with plenty of time before closing: the girls are so rude & just not right to work any retail position. (This is coming from someone who has worked retail for many years) because of my experience in retail I always try to tip if I come in 30 mins before closing but both times these ladies missed out on a good tip because of their service! I love this place. I have been here twice. First time I called in and asked if they had a gallon of World's Famous Chocolate available and they did. I let them know that I was in a hurry. Went to pick it up, they pulled it out for me while helping other people. Handed them cash with a generous tip. Second time, was after lunch we decided to walk to Baskin Robbins and enjoy the ice cream. There was 3 kids asking to try all the ice cream and the young lady saw my friend and I walked in. What else can I say other than that I saw the employees, when the bunch of bananas weren't quite ripe for shakes, go next door to Trader Joe's and buy a fresh bunch for customers. We went in yesterday and there were 3 people working and no other customers. Maybe that's why we got such great service. Two of the people working each focused on one of my children while the third took care of me. Excellent service!!!!!!! This location is a hit or miss on good service. When it's busy they grab who's nearest to them rather than who's in line and waited. This isn't ok as we all wait to be served and for someone at the back of the line to be looking at a flavor doesn't mean that person is next. If you can't control the flow get numbers to pull and go by numbers. For the owner to sit and have a conversation with "friends" while he has a line of customers out there door is insane. I ordered the Caramelectric cake with his fave ice cream and chocolate cake, 2/3 sheet, serves 12-16 people, for $47.99. No, the cakes are not cheap. But it was worth the price. The cake usually comes with pecans and slivered almonds but I asked for none and it was the best idea. The caramel on top of the cake was a thin, solid layer with 3 small piles of whipped cream dotted across the top and the birthday greeting was nicely written. To start off with, If I could put no stars I would but Yelp requires at least one. I came in on this fine warm afternoon with a smile on my face and a half empty stomach ready for a nice smoothie. Alyssa an employee at the Almaden location started by greeting me very poorly and rudely. After I told her what I wanted she proceeded to roll her eyes and talk back with an attitude. After about 10 minutes of her making my shake she screamed for no reason and said "stop". I'm not sure where this came from as no one was doing anything wrong. Maybe she was under some type of influence! This type of customer service is unacceptable. Standing next to me was a group of kids also waiting for there ice cream looking at me in confusion as they didn't know why this behavior is happening either. After I paid for my drink I kindly asked for her name and she refused to give it to me. Lucky for me she had a name tag on so I was able to get her name without making a scene.
