Ordered a PINK floral stripe cake for my six years old daughter, we were very excited about the cake. But when the cake arrived home, we are very upset and disappointed. The cake was not what I've ordered!!!! It supposed to be pink, but in reality, it was some kind of Halloween red/orange that was very unprofessional designed. Noticed that some employees, especially all male employees do not service non hispanic customers in the same manner that they do hispanic customers. I work at a different Baskin Robbins and so I know how big the scoops should be. Here their single scoop was definitely not up to par for when they scooped for me. I think it was because I brought in a coupon for a free scoop. The lady who was helping me also just assumed I would want a cup. I asked for a cake cone and just like that she got pissed, and thus scooped me a smaller scoop. When I came there was a pretty long line and yet this one guy didn't drop his cleaning duties to help scoop and shorten the line. Customer service could be a little better. Immediately once I said I wanted to claim a free birthday ice cream cone, the staff grabbed my phone and said aloud, "What is today's date". She gave a lil attitude but it's coo I got free ice cream. Cleanliness could also be a little better. We go to this Baskin Robbins every few months usually after a local dinner spot and just walk there which we did this time straight from the Wednesday SL Farmers Market where we grabbed a bite to eat and sat to enjoy some live music and afternoon sun. So dessert was needed and so we ended up with a craving for some good ice cream. I had the pecan fudge, two scoops and my wife had coffee ice cream I think. I just like surveying all the chocolate flavors and variations they have. It always brings me back to my childhood going here and sitting down to some ice cream. The service is always friendly here and the ice cream is always solid. There is almost never much of a line so we get our ice cream urge satisfied quickly. There is something relaxing about slowly savoring a few scoops of my favorite ice cream and viewing a nice spring sunset together with my wife. We will be back! read more

This BR has the best scoopers. Unlike other locations, they KNOW how to give you a real scoop instead of the cost saving 1 curl scoop the size of a ping pong. They will scoop into that bucket several times until the curl of the ice cream turns into that perfect roundness that ever so delicately hangs over the edges of the cone. Well my friend had a coupon that said buy a milkshake and get one free. Turns out the lady told us the coupon didn't work here and my friend got pissed. I'm not trying be all critical. Im biased as I write this review. My first job in high school was working at Baskin Robbins, so this place have so great and some not so fond memories. I only come here for the ice cream cakes. I just wish that there are more options for cakes, then I would totally love this place. There are multiple flavors to choose from but I have yet to walk out of there with an ice cream. That being said, customer service is great and I love how they always check with the person who makes the cake if something is do able or not. I will wait to come back for the ice cream but its the only place that I know of that does custom ice cream cakes. read more

I just realized I've never given one of my favorite places a review that's long overdue, but what came at the price of an attention grabber. I will first give them their props as deserved. This place is iconic for high quality service. The previous sentence best describes it. The staff is always polite and very neighborly. This has been their style for many years. I really feel their old style service, which is now very rare, has given San Leandro that good ice creamery reputation. This is the only Baskin Robbins in town and they live up to their long history. Everything else falls right into place. Now for the attention grabber. As I was clearing off my Dining Room Table tonight, I noticed I a receipt from an earlier visit with my son did not contain the rewards type coupon for future visits. There's a site solely dedicated (tellbaskinrobbins.com) to providing a survey where at the end it provides you with a number to write on the receipt to bring in and get money off your next transaction. I will have to check with them to see if that still exist and provide an update. read more
