Ive been going to this baskin robbins since i came to this country , the owner is always so nice to me and my family and remembers what we like and if theres a new flavor he will make sure he inform us , he talks to us like we are part of his family and as you know thats great customer service , yesterday we ordered a cake for my aunt and thought he was not gonna make it since my uncle decided to order at 6pm , yes i know my uncle is not that organized for birthdays , Ben called me at 3pm today letting me know our cake was ready !! Came here with the fam for ice cream during their $1 per scoop promotion. Normally I wouldn't write a review but I felt like the guy running the register was pulling a fast one on me over a technicality so he wouldn't give the $1 scoop price. Their promotion says $1 (kids scoop), $2 for 2 reg scoops, or $3 for 3 reg scoops. My wife & I both ordered 2 scoops $2 ea right? My daughter (7yrs old) ordered 1 scoop which should've been $1 right? Nope. The manager/owner charged me full price because I didn't specify kids scoop. This was on the 2nd day of the promotion & we had previously paid $5 for 2 + 2 + 1 scoops at another Baskin Robbins. Pretty lame to charge the regular price when the single scoop you served was for a kid. This Arab/Middle Eastern guy was obviously not happy about giving scoops at the discounted price. He tried explaining that it wasn't his place to inform me that I would be charged full price but i really didn't want to hear it. Won't be going back to this location. The ice cream is delicious - who can fault 31 Flavors ice cream? Wonderful and helpful staff - HOWEVER, the owner of this 31 perhaps needs a course in customer relations. I was interested in exchanging my gift coupons for a gift card - in addition to buying ice cream and a higher gift card amount. The response? He looked over the gift coupons with microscopic eyes - told me he had to ensure they were "good" (They were originally purchased from his 31 store) and added "We don't make money on gift cards" (Even though they sell them) I decided to take my business to 31 on Western, told him so, and took the coupons from his prying eyes. I walked in tonight, Thursday 6/28/2018 at 9:57pm and the girl behind the counter says, "Sorry we're closed." I said, "Don't you close at 10:00pm?" she said, "Sorry, we go by this clock." Excuse me?! She holds up a tiny self programmed timer in her hand that says, "10:01pm". Ok seriously... both my iPhone and Yelp say 9:57pm, but your self programmed timer says 10:01pm. Complete joke! Whew, maybe putting a scoop of ice cream on a cone is more exhausting than it sounds or the workers are just lazy. I just want to know why were the doors unlocked and the sign still said, "open"?! This place is a kid of shit. I had a coupon from T-Mobile Tuesdays which gave me a $4 Promo card. The cashier said that I have to spend over $4 to use it even though gift card didn't say that in the description. You can use your promo card at any participating Baskin-Robbins U.S. location. See shop for participation details. This location charges full price for kid-size ice cream scoops in the sundaes they serve. They insisted on kid-size scoop in spite of my notification that they were too small. Nowhere in the menu do they notify of this small size and the sundae pictures do not represent them with ice cream scoops so small that the cup looks empty without enough whipping cream to fill it. Cold Stone, Foster's Freeze, many other ice cream shops do not do this to customers! I tip $$$ well for integrity and I warn others where it is absent. read more
