She eagerly gave him taster spoons with amble scoops for him to try so he could (finally) make up his mind. Once his choice was made, he received a heaping kiddie cup of chocolate peanut butter. Yum! We sat at one of the tables so he could enjoy his afternoon treat and make a total mess of himself. Clean store, clean tables and a clean restroom with lots of soap for clean up afterwards. I guess they want you to settle for a more expensive cake instead. Second, there seems to be a serious staffing issue. On my last visit only one scooper easy working. The award for angriest employee goes to the young women working this store tonight. She had been left to work the store to closing alone. I'd be angry too. A young women working alone until 9:00 pm is unsafe and unacceptable. However, our family was out for a celebratory ice cream after a school concert and this employee's rudeness took the fun out of our outing. I'd like the owner of this store to know that he/she put their employee at risk and also ended up with some customers who will not be back. There's a Brewster's right down the road... I gave a second star because the employee did remake my daughters milk shake as requested because the first one was the consistency of chocolate milk, not a milk shake. I do not blame the employee for being upset at having to work the store alone and close the store alone, but I do hold her accountable for her incredibly poor attitude. Sullen. Angry. To the owner: if you're short staffed, work it yourself. If you are unable or unwilling to do that, put a note on the door and close early for the day. Absolutely the worst customer service I have EVER experienced. The disheveled girl behind the counter just sat there counting her drawer never aknowledging us. Just looked at us. Then when asked her for a few samples it was like we had ruined her entire day. Got us our ice cream and that was it.
