Summer is here and that means ice cream breaks! When its just one of those days when I've had enough at work and it looks way to nice outside to be behind a desk I usually head over to Baskin Robbins for an afternoon pick-me up. Went into baskin tonight. Yelp says they are open till ten. We walked in at 8:50 and tables were already up. Door was unlocked though and they were helping someone. There were two young ladies working and they said they were closed as they close at 9 during winter. We walked out and drove to Dixon Baskin where they are open till 10pm. read more

We order Ice cream cakes about four times a year, Baskin-Robbins has always been our choice however this year the Ice cream store refused to make one for us due to Covid...We gave them a few days to make it but they refused??? I would give a ZERO if I could. My husband and I just moved to area, we were in the mood for Baskin Robbins so we looked it up and saw that they closed at 10:00 PM, we got there a little before 9:00 PM and the worker locked the door as soon as she saw us get out of the car. I'm not sure of her name as she didn't even let us get to the door, but from what I saw, her hair was a mess and she had glasses. It's been years since I went to a Baskin Robbins. The one closest to my home has always been dirty and the employees were always rude. On a whim we decided to go to the one on Helen Power Dr, and it was a great experience. The girls working, Monique and Jaquie, were great. I was on a date night with my husband and they were patient with us where we weren't sure what to get, and they took a picture of us enjoying our ice cream. "Moms Makin' Cookies" flavor is not Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough! Running out of chocolate chip cookie dough is tantamount to running out of vanilla. Long live chocolate chip cookie dough; Bring back the cookie dough! I give this place two stars instead of one star because of my prior good experience with this particular shop, but in order for me to stay at a loyal customer, they have to keep their flavor loyalty when it comes to the heavyweight flavors. read more

My first time at this particular location, and I'll definitely be back! Not only are BR's ice cream flavors just plain yummy, but the customer service at this location was awesome! Both girls behind the counter were so accommodating ... even though the place was packed, they both had smiles on their faces the entire time and the one that assisted us really took the time to give us samples of quite a few flavors. We ended up going with a flavor called 'Birthday Cake' - which, literally, tasted like a vanilla cake with whipped cream swirled through it. Will definitely think of this BR location the next time I'm in the mood for some ice cream! read more

Five stars for Nicole the cake maker @ this location. I live in Napa & needed a cake made at the last minute. After calling other locations and Dairy Queen I couldn't get anyone to make me a cake. I understand they need to be ordered in advance as I am no different then anyone else. I spoke to Nicole and she suggested I order online and add any special notes there in. She's pretty amazing she even called to confirm it was for me. I needed it the 3rd of July by 1-1:30 2:00 being the latest. She did just that considering I ordered 2 1/2 hours after the 24 hour mark required to make my cake . She called me @ 12:30 on July 3rd with my cake ready to pick up. Thank you Nicole for making my day great and the receiver of the cake smile and happy for getting just what he'd asked for. You went above and beyond and your cake was delicious . Came here today because it's like 8283 degrees. Came into the location and it was a little busy, its a small location so i couldnt tell if it was packed or if the people ahead of me were together. There was a girl in there working by herself so i didnt mind waiting, but then i saw a young man come out from the back and a few things set a red flag for me; 1) he was putting food in his mouth as he washed his hands, then went back to the back, and then came back to the front 2)i watched him run his hands through his hair and wipe his nose and he didnt wash his hands again, and 3) the group of people were a family friend of his i guess and i waited 2 minutes while he just say and talked to them before i left because instead of helping the long line he stood there and talked. Let's just say that I would go on the other side of town to that BR before i came to this one again. read more
