I love Butter Pecan Bakeshop! The service is always good and the cookies have that homemade taste that keeps me coming back! However, this time, the middle of the cookies was too doughy - like they weren't fully cooked. I managed to eat around that part around it but hopefully this was just a one time thing!

Delicious cookie. Very soft and love the different choices of flavor! I will be ordering more cookies from here!!!

Stopped by to get dessert and the cookies were good, fresh, and some were still warm but the "butter" taste wasn't in either of the 2 flavors selected. Bummer. That's the taste I was used to and looking for. Maybe next time. Staff were accommodating and pleasant. The location is right on the corner in the downtown area. Street parking is available. The shop is small and set up for take out only. But it's effective.

Glad to see a place that serves fresh cookies in downtown Fairfield! Right in the middle of downtown, sitting on a corner, is this lovely bakery. Staff is friendly, place is tiny and cozy (more for quick pick ups), and the smell of fresh cookies is apparent when one walks in. There's only a few cookies on rotation every week, and all the flavors are pretty good. My favorites are the cookies and cream, brown butter pecan, and strawberries and cream. The cookies are pretty big, and a half dozen is plenty. They're a bit cheaper than Crumbl and thinner, but definitely not as overwhelming. However don't get me wrong, it's still a bit pricey even if they're "just cookies." They also have clear signage indicating what flavors there are that month, with stickers advertising their brand at the register. If you're looking for a quick sweet treat, this is a solid place to go.

Didn't visit the location so I can't speak to that but I was lucky enough to try a bunch of different cookie flavors when our client popped in with a goodie box for us. Strawberries and cream - Very good! Crisp edges, buttery, and nice chunky strawberry bits throughout. I wouldn't say I'm usually fond of fruit in my cookies, but the strawberries in this offered a nice tart and refreshing balance to the richness and sweetness of the cookie. Very yum! Sea salt and dark chocolate - A must! I'm no dark chocolate girly, but this one is IT. I love coarse salt on my cookies, and they weren't stingy with the chocolate chunks either. Another cookie that has crispy, buttery edges. So good! Brown Butter Pecan - The name is fitting. You can taste the browned butter all throughout the cookie, and the pecan chunks are chopped. I don't even like nuts like that but I was going nuts for this one.. HEHE It's a simple cookie, but it's delicious too. If I thought the other cookies were buttery, this one tops them all. Tea Cake - IDK what a tea cake is supposed to taste like but if it's like this, it's a no from me. I couldn't place the flavor on this at all, but it just wasn't to my liking. It was soft though lol I love that the cookies come in what looks like a pizza box. All their cookies are buttery AF and for cookie lovers, they seem to have a good selection of different flavors to try. They do monthly flavors too! Don't forget your glass of milk!!

Small great inside the bakery and the cookie are all fresh. The staff was friendly and polite.

Was pleased to find out they have a location in Fairfield! My favorite cookies; highly recommend the banana pudding and the banana toffee. So good and they also offer pickup as well as shipping if you want to send some over to a friend or family :)

I do appreciate their cleanliness and staff!

Personally, if I'm going to pay over 2$ for a single cookie, I want something more than butter weight. The cookies are small but still tasty. I'm kind of confused about writing this review. The place is very clean, the cookies are good with all the butter, the service is good but the spot leaves a lot of "cookieness" to be desired. I wish them them the best but it just working for me.

Indeed the best cookies in the bay. This bakeshop is located at the corner of Texas and Jackson St with street parking. Friendly staff, delicious gourmet handmade cookies. First bite will activate your serotonin happy hormones! Moist and flavorful, I do recommend the butter pecan and banana toffee cookie.

I came here for a yelp event with my siblings, parking outside was not too hard, you may have to park a couple blocks down depending on the time of day. The ladies working were very helpful and accommodating with my questions on the cookies, and the inside was very well maintained and clean. It also smelled of baked goods and just nice vibes. As for the cookies I was not disappointed. I do not have a sweet tooth, but I crave sweets every couple of months, and if I compare it to crumble, crumble is very sweet and overpowering. Here the cookies are perfect and not overwhelmingly sweet. My fave is the strawberry. I would definitely recommend this place to others and come again for special occasions!

This was my 1st visit and I wanted to purchase some cookies for me family. I bought the oatmeal raisin pecan cookie, churro cookies and the brown butter pecan cookie. They were well worth the 15 minute wait!! Each cookie was delicious and flavorful arms my family enjoyed them. The inside of the storefront was very clean and quiet and the ladies behind the counter were patient, helpful and quick with the orders. I'll definitely be back!

I hate to leave a 2 star review at this place because I've really enjoyed the cookies up until this point. I've been here several times since this place opened in July. The cookies are made how I enjoy them with not being too hard or too thick. I am not a fan of crumbl cookies and to me the two places don't compare taste wise. I've never had issues here until yesterday when I went in around 4pm to order cookies. I start putting in my cookie order and noticed there was a BUG crawling on one of the oatmeal raisin cookies. So I kind of freaked out because that's so gross. I told the lady helping me that there is a bug on an oatmeal raisin cookie. Initially she didn't see it until I pointed it out. Then the bug flew away and she was able to see it. She then proceeded to get my order and seemed pretty unbothered by the bug to the point where she left the cookie right there for someone else to order if they chose to do so, yuck. I was expecting to see her take that cookie and toss it but she didn't, so gross. She then says "she will let someone know" about the bug on the cookie but my thought was why wouldn't you at the very least throw it away. The cookies are out on display (unlike crumbl) and the door opens all the time from customers going in and out so I can only imagine what type of flying bugs get on those cookies sitting there all day without anyone noticing which is really unfortunate. I think if I ever came back to this place it would be first thing in the morning when the cookies are freshly made.

5 of 6 cookies that we ordered (my husband was eating the one that is missing)

After a very stressful week, my husband decided to surprise me with cookies from the Butter Pecan Bakeshop. We've seen and heard about the bakeshop from social media and just driving by it, so we both wanted to try their cookies. Price wise, they are cheaper than Crumbl cookies and they taste better, in my opinion. At Butter Pecan Bakeshop, 6 cookies costs $21 while a dozen costs $36. Crumbl cookie costs $24.99 for 6 and $48.99 for a dozen. The cookies are absolutely delicious! They aren't ridiculously sweet like other cookie places. They cookies are served warm, which enhances the experience. I can't recall all of the flavors we chose, but I do remember having: dark chocolate & sea salt, brown butter pecan, cookies & cream, dark chocolate walnut, walnut brownie, and I can't remember the last one. My personal favorites are dark chocolate walnut and brown butter pecan. I cannot wait to head back and try the other flavors!

The pastries are a pretty large serving size. We cut them, so folks can sample a bit of each. Mmm. Mmm. The ube filled croissant had a light creamy filling with flaky, crisp top layer and soft, fluffy inner layers. I'm not a fan of ube, but I didn't hate this. The fruit tart had a smooth, dense cream custard with a variety of fresh fruit on top. I'm usually someone who can only eat a bite or two of cupcakes because they tend to be overwhelmingly sweet, but these were much more enjoyable. They were still a little sweeter than my personal preference, but not in an overpowering way--I almost finished my entire cupcake, which rarely happens. Everyone else loved theirs as well. The pricing felt fair, and the person working behind the counter was very friendly. My only suggestion would be making it a little clearer that the bakery and coffee shop share the same space. As a first-time customer, it was a little hard to tell which business was which. Overall, great cupcakes, friendly service, and definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Famous Creations has a bunch of sweets including cupcakes, cookies, brownies, cheesecakes, and custom cakes. This inside of their space is open, and quite empty. Their Tres Leches has good components of a good Tres Leches: moist cake soaked in milk with a creamy whipped cream on top. However, the milk did not appear to be evenly absorbed across my portion of cake, as some sections remained without any milk. The cake also seemed to be the only thing ube flavored, so overall the ube flavor was lacking. The cake in general was yummy, but was not my favorite as an ube tres leches. Their desserts overall look great and their custom cakes are super cute! I hope to try other items in the future.
