I would give zero stars if I could! Spent over an hour with my son trying on clothes and still had a lot of shopping to do. I wanted to try on one pair of jeans and was told they close their dressing rims at 6, an hour before close. It was 6:15. I sought ought whom I believe is the manager and asked if what I was told was correct. She told me that if there was no one available to open a dressing room then they couldn't open it. I told her there was somebody that was over there that could open it, but she told me that she wasn't allowed to. I was told that people called out and she was sorry that she wouldn't let me try on the jeans. The girl was only doing what she was told. Totally contradicted what she said. " If there is no one available to open up a dressing room, then no, I'm sorry we can't." I was literally ready to spend hundreds of dollars in their store... I let her know that and told her that it was one pair and I just didn't wanna have to drive all the way back to return them if they didn't fit. She said, "Sorry." A big Bass Pro Shop for nothing. I got excited to see my friend post about this Bass pro shop. I was on my way back from Yosemite and stopped in to check it out. They didn't have much more or different items, it was just more spread out throughout the store. Nothing special besides having two stories, an elevator, and cool decor. Not much sales going on and the bathrooms were located on the back right of the store. They only had one cashier the day I went at 7pm. The line to purchase was so long. I was SO excited when we drove by Bass Pro on the way to Yosemite a few days ago. I've been to the Las Vegas and Orlando stores, and had no idea that there are so many (I do now, b/c I looked it up!). As with all the other Bass Pro Shops, the store is HUGE. Don't worry if you're not a fisher, camper, hiker, hunter...go into Bass Pro--you'll still find all sorts of outdoors related merchandise, from their $5 logo shirts (buy one in every color, they're SO soft!!) to casual clothing, housewares, fudge (yes, I said fudge!!), bbq equipment, tents, boats, rifles, archery equipment, shoes...sunglasses. There are tons of snacks from salt water taffy to beef jerky, even ice cream novelties. I love the outdoorsy theme at the Bass Pro Shops. A visit to see the huge fish tank is always a must. And there's always an adventure in the deals that can be found in various bins located around the store...yesterday's was 6 LED flashlights plus batteries for less than $10!! Dad also found shorts and a sun hat in sizes to fit him (tiny) so even senior citiizens have fun at Bass Pro, both for great prices! read more

I usually don't like leaving reviews, but this will benefit the next person. I drove here from out of town to meet to sell my firearm to another person. 1. There's a sign when you walk inside the business showing you must wait for someone to check your firearm. Well, there's no one there, and I waited. So, I walked up to the firearm portion of the store. Nobody greets you... I found out I had to go to customer service to check in my firearm. Why not have a sign that says go to customer service? 2. I went to customer service, and they gave out false information. I sold my firearms multi times in different gun stores, and their process was all the same. This guy, I wish I had grabbed his name, advised me I needed to provide forms of showing my current address (utility bill, ID, etc.), which is 100% correct if I was buying. I advised him I don't need that and I only need my ID/DL to sell. He got upset and would not listen to me and try to educate me on the selling process. He even tried to have me fill out the form where the buyer is suppose to fill out! So, we ended up not doing the transaction because I only had my ID/DL. 3. The other party and I don't around live there but we thought it would be a good middle ground to meet because this is a big store company and they should know their laws/policy. I call multiply gun stores after to make sure if maybe I was wrong, but they all had the same information which is the seller just need a ID/DL to sell. It's to be noted I literally drove to a random gun store and we ended up transferring over my fire with no issues! I only showed them my ID/DL!!! I know this will review will not going anymore for the store themselves because it's a big company and they will still have returning costumers. But, I hope this helps the next person who try to sell their firearm there. read more

I made 2 purchases for pickup. The first order was made at 3pm on a Friday, the website states order before 4pm and you can pick it up same day, well that didn't happen, the next day at 10am I put in another order for pickup since I am going to be driving over an hour to my nearest store, might as well make it worth the drive. I wait until 4pm and both of my orders are still processing, I chatted online and they could not tell me anything, so I started calling the store, first time I was hung up on, not even a hello, I could hear people talking in the background for a split second, then nothing, now an hour later and I still have not talked to a REP. There are chairs, sofas, a huge fireplace, and an old time office space in the front. I mean, would there be anywhere more safe than that? I don't think so. I really didn't expect to be so in awe of this place. You could get lost looking at things for hours. We were there for hunting camo and found an affordable jacket, although they had everything from budget stuff to the truly top scale items. Their clearance racks are not just full of sizes that no one needs, there was a decent selection of quality items in all sizes. I have heard this place has the best Santa around. Biggest museum/store ever. I don't know who had the control over the placement and all the great ideas of the place but it is magnificent. If I lived in the area I would just come in to chill and look at the amazing decor. We came in because my bf loves outdoor stuff and we were going camping. There's is lot of stuff in here. Everything you need from a sleeping bag to a grill to a boat and atv!!!! It's crazy!!! My bf was curious about bows and there was a really nice guy that worked that section. He was knowledgable and was familiar with it and even took us to the training section for my bf to have a small session. He sold my bf and got him everything he needed. Excellent service!!! There are something's you wouldn't be able to find at Walmart so this place is worth the visit if your heading near there. I will definitely return. read more

We make it a habit of stopping here on our way to Sac or Tahoe. They have so much variety here. We usually head to the fishing section. They have lots of different power bait colors to choose from. The customer service is hit or miss. I wish Fresno had a Bass Pro instead of Sportmens. I love that they have the fountain and fish tank. I used to like buying ammo here until I learned about their limit policy, which is simply a tool to lure you into signing up for a credit card. They say the limit is 5 boxes, but then they told me any box 100 rounds or more is considered a case and you are limited to only one case. The sales associate then goes on to tell me if I sign up for their credit card I can buy additional ammo. If you are buying a firearm here be prepared to wait a long time. 98% of customers at the gun counter are window shoppers keeping the employees busy with dumb questions. This review is for Black Rifle Coffee Gun Ship. I was surprised to see this at Bass Pro. I've seen the advertising on FB for several years. My husband and I decided to give it a try. What a treat! Our normal go to coffee is Dunkin Donuts Meduim roast, Donut House medium roast and Community coffee. When I drink this it remind me of savoring a fine dark chocolate. Horrible. Was on hold forever just to find out how the Santa Photo Pass worked because last year we got there BEFORE Santa arrived and they were completely booked. We live an hour away and its the closest Santa photo opportunity to us. A useless answer as "it's first come, first served" didn't need to be dragged on to me being placed on hold for nearly 15 minutes in the end. She was in her car seat attached to the stroller and I realized I forgot something in the car 2 minutes after walking in. I need the staff to at least know their products. Especially when it comes to reels. Reels can cost any where from 20 bucks to over a thousand. And if I ask a specific question like what the major diff between a Daiwa Tatula and the Shimano Ultegra. I'd like to have a educated answer not just look at the boxes and try to guess the difference. I can do that myself. Don't get me wrong. The staff is friendly but not informative.
