Forgot about this place but once you go through the doors, the excitement of going through each aisle to see what's new, comes rushing back. I love their selection of rods, salt/fresh, bass or bait, even combo rods and will go through each on by one. Then they have the whole back wall of worms, so many worms it's great. They have pretty decent things on sale too. Huge selection of reels. We fish delta and ocean and this place has everything. Don't hesitate to check this place out.

Awesome fishing store that you can easily pass by ! Great selection of rods / lure / reels ! We went in to get my 4 y/o a new bait caster ! We ended up getting the Daiwa Tatula SV70 ! Nice lady up front took care of us at checkout who was super personable !

I'm so tired of cheap Chinese crap.

I've been going out of my way(I'm 2 minutes away from BassPro) to shop at Fisherman's Warehouse across town for the last eight years, during that time I've never asked to return something or having a defective product exchanged for a functioning one, until today. About a year ago I bought 4 crab pots with all the other stuff that goes with them, then the crab season got canceled so I stored it in the garage and never got to use them. Yesterday when I finally grabbed a couple of pots to assemble them I noticed that one of the harnesses was missing the clip spring. I went there and asked if I could exchange it for a good one. They wouldn't do it. They probably payed $5 for it and mark it up to $12.99. So, the kid working the register saved the company $5, and lost a long time customer. Fine business. I won't be shopping there anymore.

    Smoking deal.

Another five star review. I walked into the store needing some stuff for striper fishing. The young kid with the Dunkin doughnuts face mask sprung into action and assisted me. He remembered me from the other day. Great customer recognition even with the face mask on. He introduced me to some rigs that I was originally hoping to find. I was kind of in the right area but he was able to show me what I needed and what else I needed to have a successful fishing trip. Thumbs up to you buddy. This store always makes me happy. I totally recommend this place.

Seems to be a constant issue with lunch breaks and customer service.

Went today to fix a problem with two of my Trout rods. The gentleman that helped me was awesome but beware of the Manager. There seems to be a problem when I show up with employees needing to take their lunch break all of a sudden right when I am trying to buy fishing gear. This has happened twice in the past and then today the Manager walked up right when I was trying to buy fishing gear again and said to the sales person helping me, "You need to leave now and take your break". Then they walk away and leave you standing there. I even had my girlfriend which was listening on the next isle so she could get a different view from a distance. A customer even commented that it was disrespectful and concerning since businesses rely on customers for their business. I will say this though be very careful with this lady that manages this store. I complained about her before and was told by the regional manager that she was wrong and could have handled the situation more professionally. I was also told it would not happen again. I believe there is a better way to handle this and that is walk up with another employee and relieve the person needing his break so the CUSTOMER isn't left hanging. She definitely needs training courses on how to manage her employees and deal with customers so they feel welcomed in the store. I am a disabled Vet and now feel I was targeted because of my disability. Disabilities come in many forms, seen and unseen and she definitely has caused unnecessary stress while shopping here with the multiple incidents with her making sure that when I come in she interrupts your conversations and does it multiple times and then fights with you in front of other customers when you complain. It makes you feel like your trash and your not important. I think Fisherman's Warehouse needs to address this issue and finally do something.. I spent quite a bit of money in this store and feel this manager greatly damages the image of Fisherman's Warehouse. This manager has had previous issues with customers and frankly needs to be fired and they put a manager that will make sure customers are treated properly and made to feel at home. Definitely will never come here again and will make sure all my fellow Vets that I fish with to also stay away.

They have a wider selection of fishing tackle than bass pro in my opinion. Also they carry huddlestons.

I used to drive hours to go to the Eddie Bauer outlet and I don't have to now! I do a lot of outdoor activities; hiking, fishing, walking, traveling, going to the outdoor gun range, etc. Their clothes are extremely practical for these activities. Comfortable and they keep the sun off of you. They fold neat and are lightweight for travel. I even have my wife, daughters, sons, son-in-law and grandchildren getting into the 5.11 mode. My grandson loves the caps that have cool Velcro patches you can interchange. 5.11 gift certificates are always a go-to option for birthdays, etc. As far as customer service, they are beyond great. At Eddie Bauer and Columbia I get the obligatory "hello" and "welcome to the store." That's it. 5.11 employees know their stuff and go out of their way to tell you about deals and new products. The manager in Turlock, Alexandra, is an absolute gem. I have gotten to know her and Stephanie (another great lady) from shopping at the store. They always let me know when products come in that they know I will like. Stores just don't have employees like these anymore. Old school approach to sales and service.

The manager, Chad, personally called me within minutes and he was out to our store in Danville that day with as many propane tanks as he could fit in his pick up truck. In our opinion, the sign of a good business is one that hears customers ,ESPECIALLY when they are frustrated, and makes moves to fix the issue regardless of who/what is to blame for the problem. Also, Kyle, our normal delivery driver is awesome! He's great at helping us out with tricky cage doors and makes sure we're set on items like price stickers and locks. Weighing them on a scale confirmed. They charge similar prices to other tank exchanges, but sell you 25% less product. The wilderness survival clinic with Jack was transformative. I initially signed up simply to spend more time outdoors and pick up practical skills, but what I found was something much deeper. Adventure Out's classes don't just teach--you're invited to truly interact with nature and form a real relationship with it. One of the unexpected highlights of the clinic was how naturally it became a team-building experience. Even though almost everyone in our group had just met for the first time, we quickly found ourselves collaborating, communicating, and problem-solving together. Building an emergency shelter as a group--choosing the right location, dividing tasks, and working within a limited time--was incredibly fun and surprisingly connecting. It added a whole new dimension to the experience and showed how nature can bring strangers together in meaningful ways. Our instructor, Jack, has a remarkable ability to make every person feel seen and included. Watching how he engaged with adults and kids alike--especially the two young children (ages 6 and 4!) in our group--was inspiring. His presence, awareness, and ability to track the energy of the group is unlike anything I've seen. The way he integrated the little ones actually inspired me to bring my 10-year-old daughter next year. And speaking of unforgettable moments--seeing fire by friction created before my eyes was one of the most beautiful outdoor experiences I've had. Learning how to carve my spindle, and progressing much farther than I expected, was empowering. Two folks in our group were able to start fire for the first time ever, based on Jack's instruction! I found Jack's YouTube tutorial afterward, which has been incredibly helpful for practicing at home. I'm already signed up for the wilderness survival overnight immersion next June. A huge shoutout as well to Dan, who taught my rock climbing class. The first session was so fun, motivating, and perfectly paced, and I enjoyed it so much that I later took a private rock climbing class with my daughter. I got hands-on practice with belaying, and she had an absolute blast climbing outdoors for the first time. It was an unforgettable experience for both of us. I'm planning to take more classes with my daughter, as well as take the rock climbing anchors class. Another big thank-you to Eli, who taught my mountain biking class. The class was tailored to my request for hands-on experience fixing common bike issues on the trail. We also covered MTB riding techniques, which were super fun--and as a bonus, we ran into pro cyclist Kate Courtney, which added an exciting surprise to the day! Adventure Out consistently delivers exceptional instruction, meaningful experiences, and a culture that supports learning, curiosity, and personal growth. I'm deeply grateful for the community they've built.
