Late post but this is a good place to grab a beer and food. Staff always friendly. Street parking (paid) and fairly easy to find a spot.

Right in the heart of downtown is this solid burger joint. The place has great decor and the food is splendid. Service is top notch. The servers always checked on us. I will be going back.

It was a beautiful day, perfect for lunch at Batch and Brine. I went with my mom, dad, and my son, and we couldn't have picked a better spot. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting--great for both family time and good food. I ordered the Sierra Burger with Parmesan fries, and it was absolutely delicious. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, and the Parmesan fries were crispy with just the right amount of seasoning. My mom and dad ordered the tacos, and they loved them--fresh ingredients, great flavor, and generous portions. Overall, Batch and Brine was a wonderful experience with great food, friendly service, and a laid-back vibe. We all left full and happy. Definitely a place I'd visit again!

Located across the street from another of my favorite restaurants in Lafayette, Social Bird. It was Easter and we had 10 people and a stroller. We sat outside on the right side by the handicap access. It couldn't have been a more perfect spot. The staff pulled in 2 umbrellas without asking which was so thoughtful! I shared the NASHVILLE CHOPPED CHICKEN and DUCK BANH Mi which was a garlic aioli, pickled carrot & daikon, cilantro, mint, jalapeno, cucumber, banh mi glaze, torpedo roll. Like an Asian Gyro. Just the right size. I also had the WILDBERRY MOJITO Ron Corina, berry cordial, mint, lime. So refreshing and it gave me a gentle giggle. I enjoyed the Nashville chopped salad. The chicken was good. Next time I would order something with more of their Nashville Chicken. And next time I want to try their Happy Hour!

Came here for lunch today. We were seated in a cozy booth right away. Our server was friendly and extremely attentive. Our glasses were never empty! The food came out quickly. I had the Sierra burger (second time I've had it) and it was just as delicious as the first time. My girls had the bacon Mac and cheese, kid's chicken and fries, and shared a pretzel. This is a great lunch/dinner spot!

Amazing Dinner! There's definitely something for everyone here. Loved the onion blossom, Mac and cheese, and poke nachos for appetizers. Steak frites and harissa chicken is definitely recommended. Those items are fit for a king. Cocktails are good and strong and glad they have mocktail options as well. Service is quick which I liked since I was hungry! Will def be back!

Easily made a reservation on Open Table for Sunday brunch at 11 and there was a good number of spots available. Even a walk in seemed to have been able to snag a spot, however if you plan to come later around lunch time I noticed the place was filling up and some people did have to wait a little! Came for a birthday brunch with two coworkers and we were very happy with the food and service! Our server Steve was really great at describing the menu and the highlights and other people came by a few times to check on us too. I would say the service is what made me round up to a 5 instead of a 4 start review. Their brunch menu isn't huge but combined with their regular menu there is such a large selection of foods you can order that it is almost a little overwhelming. But if you're not in the mood for heavier burgers and sandwiches, there are also other options for you too! My lavender haze drink (mocktail) was okay but honestly wanted more lavender flavor to balance out the sourness of the lemon soda. However, the star of the meal was probably the burrata! It sat on a nice little round of butternut squash and arugula, drizzled with balsamic vinegar and just went so perfectly with the toasted bread that we had to order more bread to keep the goodness going! We also got the ahi poke wonton nachos and while this concept sounded really good, I would say the ahi tuna itself sort of missed the mark because the fish was a little stringy and not as fresh as I would have liked. I think it would have delivered better if the fish were more fresh and also...I didn't see any mention of cilantro in the description but I definitely tasted it (and I am an avid hater of cilantro--sorry, not sorry! so I'm just warning my fellow cilantro haters haha). I did like the wontons for texture and this could have been a good dish but just wasn't my personal favorite. The salmon salad was excellent though with lots of goodness embedded to find--apples, pears, pomegranate, butternut squash, candied pecans amongst green goodness and a well seared salmon. Very light and refreshing and a good portion! We also got the chicken and waffles (Not the smaller bites!) which was beautifully stacked amongst berries and a deliciously fried chicken. I think there could have been more chicken for the amount of waffles but it was yummy nonetheless! All to say it was a fantastic little brunch and I'd come back to try a benedict or other items in the future! :)

Appetizers (fried onion - kinda similar to the blooming onion), taquitos with blue corn tortillas) and the non alcoholic drink selections. I tried the salmon salad in was a deep bowl of mix d greens, pomegranate seeds, pumpkin seeds, milks goat cheese, and a very THIN ( almost paper thin) piece of salmon. The salad was filling however, lacking flavor, and personally I could've used more of the vinaigrette dressing and a heartier piece of salmon. Service was on point with topping of waters for the table and taking order in a timely manner. Visited during weekday lunch, the tvs were playing sports updates and there was music playing as well. So it was pretty loud inside which made it slightly difficult to hold a conversation with those at the table. They have outside seating as well. And weekday happy hour.

I had high hopes because Lafayette has some gems! I was really disappointed with this place! The reviews were promising and my mom and I were craving burgers. She ended up ordering the burger and I ordered the Philly cheese steak with the kale salad. The meat in the cheesesteak was flavorless and tough, kinda tasted like it was boiled. Mom's burger was tough and the fries were soggy. I will say, I loved the kale Caesar! I probably wouldn't return to batch & brine, but if I did I would get the kale Caesar and just enjoy the cute decor.

Service, decore, ambiance, food = 10/10. I had the banana shake, but I didnt get a picture. I also ordered the garlic fries and cauliflower, both would order again. Great spot, kind of busy so get there early. Location is nice, and they have a waiting area outside with a fire pit, blankets, and pillows.

We came in with a party of seven to celebrate my fiancé's birthday, and from start to finish, this restaurant in Lafayette exceeded our expectations. We arrived around 1 PM on a Tuesday and were seated right away with absolutely no wait time, which was a great start. I kicked off my meal with the Tokyo Drift cocktail, and it was the perfect choice: refreshing, flavorful, and not too heavy. For appetizers, we ordered the onion blossom and the cauliflower. Both were cooked perfectly with a light, crispy fry, and the dipping sauces paired incredibly well. For my main dish, I went with the crab sandwich with avocado and a side of fries. The sandwich was packed with generous amounts of crab meat, and the toasted bread added the ideal subtle crunch to every bite. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals, and the staff went above and beyond by bringing out a complimentary pudding for my fiancé's birthday. The restaurant offers plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, along with a cozy bar area featuring a couple of TVs for sports. Everything was clean, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was very attentive and accommodating. We will definitely be coming back whenever we are in the area.

But what I love most is that they are innovators--they do not sit around and let the menu get dusty, they are always doing something new. New drinks, new cold foams, adding an ice cream machine. And not in a way that feels like whiplash, but just like menu drops that make sense. This is how you run a place that is good to locals and people visiting for the first time...
