This place occupies the old Opa restaurant on North Main with some nice upgrades. We were there on Saturday night and all the staff was nice including Greg the owner whom sat down and spoke with us at one point. We started with cocktails which were original and excellent. Followed with a rhon wine from an extensive wine list. Menu and Food. The menu is broad ranging and ambitious. May seem unfocused but i can assure you that it's intentional and well thought out. There is Indian curry, ceviche, lamb chops, great salads. All was on the table and worked together. It was all fresh, imaginative and very well executed. It was also not very busy on a Saturday night as of January 2026. There are lots of great restaurants in WC. Put this one in your rotation.

Come see Shane at WC and order a Smoked Pina. The flavors hit. Good music. Good spot!

As promised, we did come back to try out their dinner - even though it took us six months! The owners Greg and Seffie were both there and welcomed us like old friends! It was a Friday night and the place was bustling (even in rainy weather!) as they had a live singer. The cocktail scene was busy. There were five of us. We ordered cocktails (excellent) and truffle fries (awesome!), cauliflower bites (delicious!) and the Mediterranean platter (ok). For entree, we had wild cod (fresh!), fish and chips, lamb chops and butter chicken naan tacos with signature fries. Each item was perfectly cooked and delicious. The signature fries were different than the truffle fries and, better IMHO! Decent size servings, we took one taco home that my grandson enjoyed the next day! The chef came out twice to ensure everything was exactly right. That is pride! At our request, he did bring out a superb hot jalapeño sauce. Greg, the bartender, and the server kept a close eye on us and fresh plates and cutlery came with every course. We didn't have much space left for dessert but on hearing that we were celebrating an anniversary, they brought out a slice of Tiramisu with a candle! Nice touch. We will be back to try other dishes. Highly recommend!

Great food, great service! We loved the braised short ribs, and Short rib Wontons. My burger was very good but I wish the buns were tasted more. Very good tiramisu and chocolate cake.

Such a great way to spend a Friday! Happy Hour served delicious bites while the quick service and feel good music provided a great atmosphere. Don't skip out on the Tuna Poke Nachos and Espresso Martinis - made to perfection.

We love the atmosphere, nachos, and especially Shane with his off the book specialty cocktails! This is a great place to spend your happy hour, and they even have a DJ on some days. Definitely recommend, Shane is the man, always great service and chats!

The owner Gregory was super awesome and made us feel like family. Great venue, great layout, great bar, amazing food, and right in the hot spot of downtown Walnut Creek. Me and my friends had a great time there watching the UFC fights and will definitely be regulars there moving forward.

I really was excited to try this new restaurant but am hoping the restaurant is just starting out and still getting the menu and food correct. Sharing this only to help the restaurant improve! 1. First impression: we were offered a table right beside the front door in the sun, when there were plenty of better options in the back that were quieter and had less foot traffic. This left a bad taste in my mouth as a first impression - wouldn't you offer your guests the best options first? That was a bit odd. 2. The restaurant is extremely cramped. From a comfort perspective, tables are placed way too close together and it does not become an intimate setting for dining. Had there been (loud) live music, I could hear conversations of neighboring tables, clearly. 3. On live music, which was played when we went, it was way too loud. I get people want the music but it left no way for me to hear or have a conversation. 4. Presentation of the food was fine. Taste of it was concerning. As a dipping sauce for wontons, was that low sodium soy sauce? I was just appalled by how low of an effort was made with the appetizers. Nothing remarkable about the entrees. Some of the lamb chops were cooked well others were a little overcooked I really share this to help WC kitchen and bar succeed! It's very tough competition out in the restaurant business of downtown WC! My opinions only.

Fantastic spot in Walnut Creek! The vibe is awesome, great music on the playlist, and fun live music too! The food is great. The lamb pops were exquisite. The temperature on them was perfect. The WC Salmon was great and had an amazing sauce on them. The caprese salad was tasty, and the truffle fries were nice and crispy with a good dipping sauce. The wine list and cocktail menu are eclectic and have a lot of good single glass options. The Malbec and Pinot options are nice. The staff is super helpful and very attentive to your needs. Nicolas the bartender is top notch! Ernesto the chef came out and said hi and asked how our food was which was really cool. The owners also came by and talked with us to see how our experience was. Overall it was an amazing meal, and experience. Will certainly be back and you should come too!

This place just opened in Walnut Creek and it was very good! The drinks were made perfectly and we tried the "Alyssa" and the espresso martini (but with the cognac option instead of vodka) and it was strong and tasty!! It was dark dark! The bartender Nick was very accommodating when we sat at the bar. My friend and I shared the caviar deviled eggs on salad and presentation was on point! Then we shared the lambchops and it was a perfect amount for two. Seasoning was perfect on mashed potatoes and asparagus! My cognac was served on a large cube and it just made the experience even better! The owners came over to welcome us and they were a pretty awesome couple!! The vibe reminds me of "purple rain" - soft but electric and the playlist was modern (even in the bathroom!) The menu is very diverse but the owner said every dish is delicious and comes from a cookbook he published (pretty cool!!)

Amazing food and service. This place has a great menu O wish I could have tried everything, but now we have a reason to keep going back. The business owner is very engaged and active with staff and customers. He assures the customer is happy with their food and the place is very clean and welcoming. I strongly encourage anyone who wants a great meal to go here. Update I went back this past weekend and everything was still great. I strongly encourage the caviar deviled eggs and can't go wrong with any of the pasta or meat dishes.

We had such a memorable experience at WC Kitchen & Bar in Walnut Creek. We initially made a reservation for Thursday night through OpenTable, but when we arrived, the restaurant was hosting a private event and had inadvertently not updated their availability. While that could have been disappointing, Arturo--who greeted us right away--completely turned the situation around. He was incredibly apologetic, recommended a great spot just down the block for that evening, and genuinely encouraged us to come back the next night. We were in town on a work trip and Friday was our last night, but Arturo's kindness and the menu alone convinced us to rebook--and I'm so glad we did. When we arrived for our 7:00 PM reservation on Friday, Arturo was ecstatic to see us and welcomed us back with such warmth. He even brought us a complimentary drink, which was fantastic. Shortly after, Greg, the owner, stopped by our table to personally apologize for the scheduling mishap from the night before. We had a wonderful conversation, and he made us feel truly welcomed. We started with the mango ceviche and a Caesar salad, both of which were excellent and arrived just before our entrées. My husband ordered the wild cod, and I had the WC short ribs--both dishes were outstanding. Throughout the evening, both Arturo and Greg checked in on us, which made the entire experience feel personal and genuine. To top it all off, Arturo recommended the molten lava cake with vanilla ice cream for dessert, which we ordered to go. I'm so glad we did--it was rich, indulgent, and absolutely delicious. WC Kitchen & Bar has a perfect location on Main Street, just a block from our Airbnb. Greg mentioned that during warmer months they open the doors and windows and feature live music, which we could easily picture while sitting there. We visit the area regularly and can confidently say this will be a must-stop every time we're in town. Thank you again, Arturo and Greg, for such an outstanding and welcoming experience--we can't wait to come back!

I have nothing to say about the service because it was wonderful Marissa or Melissa I'm so sorry it was so loud so I had a hard time hearing your name you were amazing as was everyone else helping you. I had planned on ordering the same exact thing I usually do which I would be the zucchini fries, crab cake, scallops over risotto, and the veal Marsala. Today I convinced my boyfriend that we should try one new dish we were pleasantly surprised by the prime rib dip and utterly disappointed about our scallops. I came back to rave about your take of the pina colada non alcoholic beverage it was soooo good and refreshing. I always get the crab cake and the zucchini fries which are always a hit! Both sauces to accompany the dishes pair so well!! Both fresh and bright to complement the fried elements. We decided on trying a new dish and the prime rib dip with the cheese and caramelized onions with an upgrade to truffle fries bomb. It came with ketchup, some horseradish, and another creamy sauce which was yummy and tasted bright. I really came to write about how sad I was to receive my scallops over risotto which couldn't even be called risotto. I always order this at every location and this would be my second time here and it did not deliver like it did the previous times. It was clumpy rice with a little bit of cheese at best. What a bummer to pay almost $50 for a few scallops when I know they make this dish phenomenally. My other complaint is how come the dip wasn't packed to go with my prime rib dip sandwich? I was sad the horseradish didn't come home with us but without the dip is almost criminal. Same for our zucchini fries that elevates the fries so much!!!

I love places like Lafayette where all the businesses support each other and help each other grow. Their brews on tap are mostly all local, and we grabbed some Pilsners sourced from Lafayette's new brewery, Western Flyer. So fresh and crisp. Can't wait to also check that spot out. Food-wise, we came in mid-afternoon and grabbed a Kale Pancetta salad (they pre-split the salad for us on two plates which was so nice), and for the mains, we both grabbed the Tuna Melt with fries. The salad was delicious. I'm def a tuna melt girly, and I loved the addition of the ciabatta (?) as the bread option, so fresh as well. This tuna melt comes with grapes fyi, and a few other elements mixed in. I absolutely loved it, just sharing though as I know how some tuna stans like their tuna :) This spot is clean, spacious, and perfectly situated in walking distance downtown. Would love to come back for brunch with a group of friends, or even again during the upcoming Lafayette Art & Wine Fest. Food is good, service is quick and friendly, and vibes are right. Only after reminding her again was the sugar finally brought over. It then took another 30 to 40 minutes for someone to come take our actual food order. Our server was unfriendly, disengaged, and gave the impression that she simply did not want to be there. There was no warmth, no apology for the delays, and no effort to check in or improve the experience. The food was also disappointing. Other than the pizza, most of what we ordered either arrived lukewarm or simply did not taste good. Between the poor service, the long waits, and the underwhelming food, the entire meal felt careless from start to finish. I understand restaurants can have difficult days, but this was not just a small delay or one missed item. It was a consistently poor experience throughout the visit, and frankly, not what I would expect from Main Street Kitchen.
