Having been here in the past, I had high expectations. Today's experience was one of the worst experiences I have had in the area in a long time. When I arrived, the host was extremely rude and ignored me. She was busy talking to her friends. After waiting for her to finish a personal conversation, she finally checked me in. The restaurant was very busy and the scene looked like a great time. When she checked me in, she just walked away not saying anything. She came back and pointed at something and walked away again. Eventually I was shown my seat. I had requested a booth, but instead I was placed in a back corner. I asked the waitress if we could wait for a booth, then she walked away. Some worker came up to me, not identifying herself, and told we that they could not accommodate me. I understood it was busy. However I waited over 10 mins for a server and when the server did not come over, I left. Honestly this place has really really gone down hill. Normally I don't write reviews but this establishment definitely pushed me into doing one. We went for brunch yesterday the wait time was an hour we had no problem with that. We waited patiently fast forward to that hour passing we saw a couple of parties coming in after us being seated while we patiently wait in the wrong that was that. Then when we were finally seated my friend and I was smelling some foul order coming from the restaurant floor.They also had a dirty white rag next to it the hole in the ground.The wood in the front of the restaurant is missing so all we smelled was wet wood so we told the server about the issue she gave us the BIGGEST attitude in the world when we complained about that.Mind you were I was seated the servers were right behind me I will be posting a picture below.Then it's time to take our order the server is constantly taking off her mask to speak and she just keeps getting closer to my face just touching me. The restaurant needs to set guidelines covid is still out keep your mask up and stay six feet within the customer. So, then they finally switched our table because they realized we weren't satisfied so fast forward to us ordering our meals I ordered with the previous server mind you I'm just waiting thinking my order was put in come to find out she never put it in....So at that point I was livid because I had to wait another 30 mins so my friend ordered chicken and waffles I had chicken sliders... My friend tried the chicken and waffles when I tell you the chicken was as salty as the sea it was just TOO salty so she immediately told the manager and he said he was going to take it off the check..I'm guessing that manager told another manager because that's when the weird stares started happening. The server was just the worst I had to get up a couple of times to get stuff myself. The chicken sliders were okay. So the server brings us the check I realized she charged us for " two unlimited mimosas" you have 90 mins I don't know why it's even advertised as unlimited. We only had unlimited mimosas so the server came over and stated she watched my friend drink my mimosas..Mind you I'm allergic to oranges she was just taking a sip to make sure I didn't have an allergic reaction to it because the server was quite confused if it had pineapple or orange juice in it. Now the manager that's skinny and tall caucasian came over and asked us again what was wrong with the chicken and waffles mind you we already told the other manager I would hate to bring race into this but she was just giving me racial vibes why would you ask us again we already told the other gentleman that was a manager. Finally my friend and I walked out we paid for our meals we didn't tip because we weren't pleased with the restaurant,server, nor the food. I heard someone saying HEY in a very loud voice so we turned around and it was the manager the skinny Caucasian manager she followed us outside just because we didn't tip speaking to us in an very loudly voice stating why didn't we tipped so I told her we weren't treated right so I said if you don't want blacks in your establishment just let us know at the door mind you we are two young black women I hate to bring race into this but BATCH doesn't welcome color to their establishment it's crazy because they sat another group of white girls at our other table the group of girls had a candle from the restaurant why didn't they do that for us but no instead they kept repeating do you want to go back on the waiting list and wait for a new table.Mind you the manager came outside her way just to chase us down the block about a tip then she stated "Don't f***** come back to our restaurant" when I tell you I was shocked I couldn't believe it we was never disrespectful to her she didn't have to disrespect us like that. We talk to her with the upmost respect I was don't astonished with that manager behavior. OMG. This place here has thee best chicken and waffles! I gave the waitress "the look" because some folks do not season their chicken. She was like trust me the chicken is good. N baby that chicken was seasoned to perfection. The waffles were a good mix of waffle and corn bread, different but delicious. The honey was also on point, way better than syrup. Excellent pulled pork appetizers and deviled eggs. Food is good quality in the true southern style. Pot pie was good with big skillet crust. My bf and I had heard some amazing things about Batch, so we decided to stop by for Sunday Brunch. While we were approaching the front door, we heard some pretty loud music coming from that area, but didn't assume it was coming from Batch (the restaurant is located near a night club, so we thought it was coming from there.) Boy were we wrong, we opened the door and low and behold, music BLASTING at such an ear bleed level that we couldn't even hear the waitress ask us if we wanted a table or to sit at the bar. We mentioned how loud the music was to her and her response was "haha yeah". My bf and I just looked at each other and walked right out. Thought this would be such a nice spot for some comforting food and conversation, but can see they're trying to compete with the nightclub next door. If I could do a one word review it would be..."Meh." This place sits where the great Alchemist one stood. It was dead when we walked in and for good reason their menu shows no effort, just dressed up "southern" dishes and the drink menu Is far less impressive. We tried their Carolina Sweet tea and on tap G&T both were loaded with sugar and very little liquor. You would think a restaurant this empty would have quick service but the waiting staff was no where to be found and kitchen took for ever to bring out a simple desert. Unimpressed, to say the least. I do not like leaving reviews like this, as I had high expectations for this place. First mistake was booking my Birthday brunch here with the Palm Beach Boat Show going on. Very crowded and hard to find parking. I should have realized before choosing this spot, but I've been wanting to try for awhile and thought I should get to go where I want for my birthday. Reserved a table for 4. When we were sat, they only gave us 3 menus and 3 place settings... had to ask for a fourth of everything. Waited a long time for a lemonade. We ordered pretty quickly and then we waited... and waited. Finally our server said they were plating our food and would be right out... then we waited almost another 15mins. Meanwhile the table sat way after we were had already received their food. When they finally brought our food they only brought a portion. My mom waited another 5 minutes for her eggs Benedict because they had to poach the egg. 1hr we waited for our food and it was mediocre at best. My husband didn't receive all his food and all he ordered was eggs and bacon. Terrible. I gave 2 stars because my chicken sandwich was pretty tasty but fries were cold and chicken had definitely sat around awhile before brought to me. We won't be back. Also, was too loud and we couldn't even hear each other talk. Not what I expected for a Sunday brunch. read more

This place blows. I waited 15 minutes to be attended. Waited another 30 minutes to get my order and a beer. Then to top it off, got a vegetarian burger that was supposed to be for the girl next to me. She ate into my burger so I had to wait to get my burger for another 15 minutes. Already more than an hour without my food. Then I got the burger and there was no hint of brisket inside of it. Really expensive burger for such low quality. When I finished I got another beer just to wash out the bad taste of burger out of my mouth. Couldn't spend any It's money on those place. Absolute garbage! The guy next to me said he also had bad experience from here and anticipated mess ups the whole night. The guy with a man bun at the bar was horrible. Didn't give me utensils and a napkin when I came in and was not attentive to me. He treated me like I was just there to bother him. I had to really grab his attention and track him down to get anything. He never came by to check on me. Only when instructed to my another employee and was still slightly hesitant. It was flavorful to say the least. Half a chicken is a generous serving. It comes piping hot with a spice kick. Love the honey dip jars. Would offer maple syrup as alt. on table. The other meals/breakfasts around the table were described as "ok" - Southern Crispy chicken breakfast, and Steak & Eggs. Overall, a great spot for a bottomless brunch with above average menu. Terrible hospitality and service. After trying to place an order online it would not let me select the "pickup" option, only delivery. I spent 5 minutes trying to change it. Orders were being accepted through the system. I got all the way to paying. Ultimately, I decided just to call and place the order for pick up as I didn't want to pay the delivery fees - I was happy to pick it up. After listening to a robot menu, I finally got a person on the phone who told me the kitchen closed three minutes ago, and proceeded to refuse to take my order. My family and I wanted to try a new place for Father's Day. I saw the reviews on Yelp as well as the pictures of the food and was really excited to check this place out. We were greeted by a friendly hostess who sat us right away (we had a reservation). Then it took 20 to 30 minutes before our waiter greeted us as we watched new tables come in and get greeted right away. My husband and I found that to be annoying but we are very patient and let it go. We first ordered a Diet Coke, water, apple juice, espresso martini, and an old fashion. We got our Diet Coke and water about 25 minutes later and then after another 10 minutes went by we finally received our daughters apple juice and our alcoholic beverages. By this time we've been in the restaurant seated for about an hour and just receiving our drinks. Then we ordered the bacon tots and they were so good! The ranch sauce was so good and you could tell they made it fresh in house. We could see many people ordering the chicken and waffles and knew we needed to get some sort of fried chicken for our entree. Then we ordered the Mac and cheese with fried chicken, onions, and truffle as well as the fried chicken Nashville sliders. The Mac and cheese came out cold in the middle and hot on the sides and the Nashville sliders chicken came out chewy on stale buns. I sent back the mac and cheese and received it again cold without the truffle which was a 2.50 add on. I asked them to take the Mac and cheese off which they did (which is why they received 2 stars instead of one) but I am still upset I spent almost 100.00 and all my family ate was the appetizer. The reviews here don't make any sense to our experience. I would not come here or recommend it to anyone. Also a side note it was not busy at all. The restaurant was about 60-70% occupied. There was no reason our family spent over 3 hours there to eat our dinner. read more
