Granted this location can be slow at times like today, there was 2 sales girl standing talking stories while 1 girl at the register. A lady in front of me was looking for an item and was directed by the cashier where she could find item, rather than the lady waiting behind me, as it was my turn to be helped, the lady cuts right in front of me to be helped. Next up was me. I was there for an online order pickup. 18 pocket hand sanitizers and I bought 5 bottles hand soap. I asked the cashier for a larger bag since my purchase got larger but she insisted to pile everything in the little bag. Great! When I leave this bag in my car trunk to drive to the west side, the bag may or may not tip and everything spills out. I then asked her again for a bigger bag! She gave her 50 cents for the bag! Bath & Body usually has really good customer service no matter what store I'm at. They've been really helpful at all the locations and this one was no different. I walked into the store and two associates greeted me and asked if I needed help with anything. I told them that I was just browsing. I always buy a ton at the Ala Moana store so I didn't need anything. They were running an excellent promo. All hand soaps were $2.95. Plus, I had a coupon for 25% off my entire purchase. It would have been a really good deal, but I already have too much of their hand soaps. I would have totally stocked up if I was running low. It gets busy on Wednesdays, probably because of the Farmer's Market, but the cashiers are pretty quick and professional. This B&BW in Windward Mall is half the size from our town version but somehow manages to have it all is great and probably due to location still may have the hard to find items at times makes it nice for me to swing by whenever I'm in the area. Located at Windward mall near the food court, they had a 75 percent off sale of certain items in the store, and other items buy 3 get 3 free. I normally come to this location in Windward mall because the location at Ala Moana center is always so crowded with lines to get in. The mall is indoors so you can come and enjoy the stores even if it's rainy and enjoy the air conditioning and not so crowded malls packed with other customers. I haven't been here in over four years, plus they were shut down for a while during Covid. I walked in just to kill time after having lunch since my wife and I used to come here often (esp. during the holidays) to pick up soaps, lotions, and other products for her "goodie bags" for friends and family. The floor salesperson came up to make conversation and offered me a sample of a new body cream that was being introduced to market for men. My skin is usually pretty dry, and even more so when I visit family in Vegas, so I tried a small dab. It was called Bamboo & Surf, and the fragrance reminded me of English Leather or some similar smell; just not as strong. I liked it, so I ended up picking one up. They are super helpful and friendly, even to me as a male shopper (who I don't think is their primary market). They do offer a rewards program, but I didn't sign up (or renew since it's been years). With all the recent store closings (and upcoming, like Macy's), it's good to see they're still open, and I hope they continue on with success. read more

My first knowledge of Bath & Body Works (BBW) was back in the early 2000's when colleagues in my previous office traveled to the west coast and they would bring back omiyage. There were 2 stores that my colleagues and I would appreciate receiving gifts from: Trader Joe's and BBW. Most of the females in the office would receive assorted hand lotions and hand soap in many scents. As for the guys, many times we received vanilla, which I grew to like. Also, when I visited and stayed with my buddy in Long Beach, I noticed in their home they had BBW hand soap. BBW is the largest chain of bath shop products here in the United States. It has expanded to other continents where consumers buy merchandise such as soaps, moisturizers, gels, scrubs, sanitizers and candles. When leaving the store, fans of BBW will recognize their signature checkered box with bright pink square logo on their bags. I recently came to Bath & Body Works (BBW) because I needed to pick up a whole bunch of small gifts to give to the females in my office. With over a dozen females to buy for, I wanted something that is practical as well as economical. My part time job has me in the Windward side a lot so this BBW at Windward Mall was ideal. Also, with the craziness at Ala Moana Center, I wanted to avoid circling around and around just looking for a parking stall. Located on the first floor of Windward Mall just close to the food court, this BBW opened in October 2015 and is quite a large store. As you walk in, you'll see displays nicely stacked and sorted by product. I immediately found the hand soaps and it was just a matter of which scent to get. Being the holidays, I saw a whole bunch of holiday themed scents that were interesting but I decided to play it conservative. For convenience, large blue mesh shopping bags are available as you walk in. I find this option more user friendly as it's easier to carry when walking around the store. Being this was the last Sunday before Christmas, this store was sure rocking. I saw two cashiers in the front but didn't see any associates walking around assisting customers if they had questions. As the older I get, I've come to realize I don't care for shopping so to minimize my shopping time, I grabbed 7 pairs of two scents and an oddball to make my list of 15. It was quick to check out as the cashiers were efficient in assisting the customers with their purchase. I was somewhat startled when the associate asked for my telephone number and despite not shopping at BBW for YEARS, I was still recorded in their system. With Hawaii's law on bags, I gladly purchased a bag for 15 cents. Because 15 bottles of hand soap has weight, I didn't mind paying for a second bag to double bag but the associate automatically did this for me without the additional charge. First time here in many years and everyone was so friendly! They had a great Black Friday deal buy 3 get 3 free and an extra 20% off for being in the club. I signed up a long time ago but stopped receiving mailers and emails. They told me that they would still honor the 20% and would sign me up again. How nice of them! One of the necessities during this odd time is soap and sanitizer. For the last few months each has had ups and downs, but we were well stocked. I personally only buy these items from Bath & Body Works as the smells are bright and fresh, and the label art is festive and colorful. Bath & Body Works closed all their Hawaii stores for about three months, finally reopening in mid-July 2020. By this time we were in need of more; shipping from their site incurs a large fee, so it was something we didn't want to. This location, at Windward Mall, reopened with little notice, but everyone seemed to know. On a Saturday afternoon we arrived to shop and were met with a line. As we needed their items, we resigned to wait. Our experience was overwhelmingly positive. The store had an organized queue set up in the atrium of the mall; plenty of space to social distance. The other customers all followed the directions and the line moved quickly. They placed a limit of 10 people in the store at a time; it felt spacious and easy to shop. The staff was well trained and ready to assist, cleanliness procedures were everywhere including wiping down the counters after each customer. Bonus points for already having multiple sinks and every soap to use. In general, I love Bath & Body Works for their sales. This visit we took advantage of the 6 for $26 handsoaps and 5 for $8 hand sanitizers, perfect size for the car and on the go bags. They were also running a $10 off 3-wick candles (which we also love) but I passed on these this time. All in all, it's a nice location of the store with multiple entrances, bright lighting, and ease of flow to browse and checkout. read more

And I have to admit I'm not usually a fan of rose scented lotions, but Bath & Body Works really is in a league of their own. They managed to make a beautifully scented Rose Collection. I had to buy the Rose 3-wick candle, Shea body lotion, and soothing bath milk. The scent is out of this world. It's sweet and creamy, with a subtle rosy scent that is absolutely amazing! I'm glad there's a bath and body works on the windward side, so I don't need to go to ala Moana or pearlridge and fight all the crowds. This location has everything, it is smaller than ala Moana but it will have everything you need. The workers do come up to you and ask you more than once if you're finding everything ok. They even approachhed me twice not even remembering they came up to me already haha. Anyway, there's always good sales and you will be able to get the actual item because this location doesn't get crazy busy. It's crazy how long most shoppers could spend in this place. I love the way this shop is set up, so much to look at and hard to concentrate on one product without your eyes wondering. I came to Windward Mall with my mother, I left her in the food court to finish eating and wanted to get her something simple from Bath and Body Works just as a small gift since it was mother and daughter day. I told her I'd be back in just a few minutes as I already had in mind what I wanted to get. Figured I'd be in and out in a jiff! Well, im at B&BW, I saw the product that I wanted, held on to a couple of bottles, making my way to the cashier and next thing you know it, I'm browsing aimlessly. A half hour goes by, and I'm like the farthest away from the cashier with a basket full of stuff. After I realized I need to get back to her quickly, I began to do a process of elimination with all these products, which all pretty much serve the same purpose. I purchased a decent amount of stuff for the both of us. My favorite product is the Boardwalk Vanilla Cone, and Vanilla Buttercream hand soap and the Sweet Pea sanitizer gel, oh and the PocketBac sanitzers. Anyway, finally got back to mom, she looked a little irritated, but she was very happy when I gave her a bag full of these goodies from Bath & Body Works. She said "oh, I love these!". The cashiers are located in the back of the store, with only 3 cashiers. The line was getting long and I can see the cashiers are working hard to get the line moving. The cashiers and employees are very friendly. New Holiday scents are available now. I purchased Fresh Sparkling Snow, Frosted Winter Woods, & Orchard Frost in antibacterial soap and body wash, perfect for the holidays coming up. Anti-bacterial soaps are 5 for 18.00 or 7 for 24.00 The signature collections are buy 3 get 3 free I am not sure when promotion ends. Don't forget to get a coupon from cashier for $10 off $30. Besides the fact that this store is pretty stocked up, I don't understand how people have reviewed this location with good customer service. I walked in... no greeting. I literally had no acknowledgement the ENTIRE time while walking around. There was only one other couple walking around at the same time. I grabbed a shopping bag myself (usually they ask you if you need one). I also walked by TWO workers who were standing next to each other venting about something while dropping some pretty heavy swear words out. Ladies, that should be done OFF of the sale floor. Christy the supervisor said I can't use it and even though I can show in my call log that I just called she refused to honor what I was quoted. Came back to try to give them another chance. I guess I am a glutton for punishment. Only ONE person on the floor doubling as a cashier. There didn't seem to be much of a variety of items like the other stores. I think it's because of limited space. The reason they went down to ONE STAR is that when I was checking out, the cashier didn't greet me, just held out her hand to grab my shopping bag. There was no other interaction other than to ask if my email was on file. I didn't even get a, "Thanks for shopping with us." She handed me my bag & said, "Here you go." What? Seriously? I really hope the store managers see this because I think their staff needs to be retrained on customer service. I could easily take my business to the other B&BW or another store. Came in on a weekday to snag my favorite scent: winter candy apple. The store was well lit and nicely organized. I'm just happy they have a windward location! One of the sales associates, Carla, greeted me and immediately started to help me pick out my products, and also gave some of her personal favorite recommendations. She observed that I was with my (fussy) toddler, so she offered to hold my items up front at the register until I was done. She was even kind enough to pick some items off the floor for me and walk them over to the register herself. In general, Bath & Body Works have really good sales.
