We hired Bath Fitter to remodel the shower stall in our master bathroom, which desperately needed it. Bath Fitter was easy to work with right from the consult through the end of the installation - our representative, Chase, was friendly and prompt. We were also surprised that they were able to get the new shower done in one day and with only one guy working on it! Pricing was much better through Bath Fitter than the other company who quoted our project, despite using similar materials. We are planning to use Bath Fitter again for our other shower and bathtub in the near future!

The floor is one 1" short of the wall.

If I could give a negative 5 stars, I would. I hired Bath Fitter of the Mountlake Terrace to put in new walls and floor to my existing shower. My existing shower was in perfect condition but I wanted to enlarge it as much as possible, since it was pretty small. I was willing to pay $10,000 for a few extra inches in the depth. The sales person who did the initial measurement made a mistake, so the actual size installed was 1 1/2" shorter than expected. I was only going to get 4" extra, so that cut it down to 2 1/2"! Not worth $10,000! The installer put the walls in too high. It was supposed to stop at the top of the window frame, making a nice clean line with the shower door, but went above it. This looked terrible and not what was agreed upon. They also put the wrong floor pattern in. It was supposed to be a pattern called "diamond" as per the contract. However, a pattern called "honeycomb" was installed. Two very different patterns. Since they measured wrong, I did not get extra inches I wanted. I called and texted multiple times with no timely response. The end result: they want me to pay $3000 for a job done completely wrong from beginning to end. The installer even admitted the walls were too high. Their reason for keeping my deposit of $3000 is because they have already paid the sales person, installer and would have to pay a technician to rip it out. I never signed the final contract because it was NOT done according to the terms in writing. PLUS, they charged my credit card $6668.18 without permission and without finishing the job! This is illegal! They tried to commit fraud! DO NOT use this Bath Fitter company located in the Mountlake Terrance office. They are crooks and want to keep my $3000 for a job not done right. In addition, they tried to charge me $2,500 for a shower door never installed. They claim they installed the shower walls and floor (without the door) exactly as described in the contract, ignoring the fact that it wasn't done even close to the contract. The wall heights were wrong and the floor pattern was wrong. I tried to resolve this with Kristin, the manager, but got nowhere. She even said if I contest the charges with the bank, they would win and I would lose. After I told her I had already challenged the Bank to contest these charges, they suddenly said they would pay me back the $6668.18, which they illegally tried to take, but they still want to charge me $3000 for materials (which were the wrong size and pattern), the technician to rip it out and the commission of the sales person, even though the job was never finished correctly. Save yourself money and headache and use someone else to redo your shower. I will gladly have them come rip everything out (without charging me) They want to charge me for ripping out their shoddy work!! Unbelievable! The pictures below show the areas done not according to the agreement made with the sales consultant. It may not look like much, but when you were only going to get an extra 4 inches in depth, losing 1 and half inches makes a difference. Bottom line, regardless of how little measurements were off, it wasn't what I contracted for.

Great experience in every way, start to finish. This is the first time I've EVER contracted with a company of any kind that I found out about in a booth at a festival! We met Bath Fitter at Freedom Fair on 4th of July in Tacoma, their booth having caught our eye. A week or so later, sales rep Jayde ("JD") arrived and we sat on the deck going over their program. He showed us samples, layouts, designs, etc. After looking at our current built-in shower (not a one piece), and it's kind of odd layout, we found it would be a bit more than we thought but it was still reasonable for the amount of materials and labor it would take. Installers Matt and Joseph showed up exactly when we were told - tear-out was on Monday, and the new shower was complete at the end of the day Tuesday. They were polite, friendly, very neat - and did a very nice job We couldn't be happier - thanks Jayde, Matt and Joseph Dave & Anne

I made it clear that I would remove them if necessary to ensure they could be labeled and reinstalled. We were assured the baseboards were installed at a height that enabled the installer to work with it in. When we proceeded with the proposal the installer showed up and removed the baseboards from my entire house without telling me. He broke them all, threw them in my front yard, and left my house a mess. I attempted on multiple occasions to reach out to the manager with my frustrations and he was never around, never called me back, or followed up. They cost me thousands of dollars and countless hours to stain, sand, refinish, and install new baseboards at the same time we were welcoming our first child. This was my first time hiring a contractor. I had previously acted as the general contractor for our other two bathrooms, and my husband and I did those remodels ourselves, so I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted--and also plenty of lessons to learn along the way! One of the biggest advantages of working with Doru was his pricing. His quote was extremely competitive compared with other contractors in the area, some of whom quoted us 2-3 times more. We did have to manage purchasing our own cabinets, tub, tile, lighting, fixtures, etc., but that gave us the flexibility to shop at our preferred stores and save money. **A couple of lessons I learned:** Make sure you have all of your materials onsite before construction starts. There were a few times we were waiting for items I had ordered, which slowed things down. Had I used some of Doru's preferred suppliers, that probably wouldn't have happened. Also, if possible, I recommend having someone home during construction. I couldn't be home because of work, but my husband was, and that worked out well. Doru was consistently on time--sometimes even early--which is rare in the construction industry. He's also incredibly versatile and was able to handle a variety of jobs himself, including light electrical work such as changing light types and wiring and installing/replacing electrical outlets. The only time he brought in an electrician was for our heated floors because they required additional breakers in our electrical panel. And by the way, **I highly recommend heated bathroom floors!** They aren't hot; they're just comfortably warm/room temperature, which means no more freezing feet first thing in the morning. The project started with demolition, which Doru completed in just **one day**. From there, he handled the framing and coordinated his regular team of skilled subcontractors. One thing I appreciated about Doru is that he genuinely wants you to be happy with the final product. He doesn't try to push his own design preferences on you. When I asked for his opinion, he would explain the pros and cons of different options, but ultimately left the decision to me. I changed my mind a couple of times during the project--including the ceiling lighting and tub surround--and even though those changes created additional work, he made the requested changes without charging us extra. His team was excellent as well. Emmanuel, his tile professional, did an incredible job and really made the bathroom come together. He also installed our cabinets and crown molding, and his attention to detail was impressive. The drywall professional was extremely fast and efficient using Quick Set 5. We did need a second trip because of some ceiling corrections, but overall the work moved along quickly. Our project took about six weeks from start to finish, although some of that time was due to delays with materials I had selected and our family vacations. Realistically, I think the actual construction could have been completed in around four weeks if everything had been onsite and we hadn't had scheduling interruptions. What really stood out to me was Doru's follow-through. He has checked in with us multiple times since the project was completed to make sure we're still happy with everything. We are! I actually made one poor choice myself when selecting our tub faucet--it takes about 20 minutes to fill our large tub. Doru even offered to come back and replace it once I find a better faucet, which says a lot about the kind of contractor he is. **If you're looking for a highly skilled, dependable contractor at a competitive price, I would absolutely recommend Eagle Remodel and Construction.** I think they're an especially great choice if you're comfortable purchasing your own tile, cabinets, fixtures, lighting, tub, etc. and want more control over your budget and selections. If you're looking for a completely hands-off experience where you walk into a showroom, select everything through the contractor, and have them handle every purchase, a larger remodeling company may be a better fit--but you'll likely pay significantly more for that convenience. For us, Eagle Remodel and Construction was absolutely the right choice. We love our new bathroom and would hire Doru again without hesitation!

The team worked efficiently, skillfully, and ahead of schedule! It seems like Eagle Construction can build anything you ask them to. Doru is someone I can trust. As someone who pays close attention to detail, I especially appreciated his precision and craftsmanship. I am so glad we went with him, and his pricing was fair. What stood out most was his honesty and thorough approach. We had reached out to several contractors for quotes, but Doru was the only one who took the time to measure our space accurately and fully understand what we wanted. He never pressured us into additional work and instead offered thoughtful guidance and expert recommendations. Despite working quickly, the final result was of quality and what we envisioned. I would absolutely hire Eagle Remodel again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, detail-oriented work, and people you can trust.

No surprises, no hidden costs, no vague answers. When we asked detailed questions about framing, tile installation, and material compatibility, they answered with confidence and honesty -- including telling us when something wouldn't work or wasn't worth the spend. That kind of transparency is rare. The design documentation alone set them apart. Kate put together detailed material specifications, as-built plans, new floor plans, tile wall elevations, and full-color mood boards before a single tile was laid. Everything was organized, professional, and gave us complete clarity on what the finished rooms would look like. It made decision-making so much easier and eliminated the anxiety that comes with a major renovation. What impressed us most was how collaborative the entire process felt. Drew and Alex weren't just executing a plan -- they were thinking alongside us, offering suggestions that elevated the design, flagging potential issues before they became problems, and making sure every detail was right. They treated our home with respect and our vision with care. I did EXTENSIVE research before hiring Eastside Kitchen & Bath. They exceeded expectations. He scheduled a visit and did some measurements and we discussed possible options. When he was done, he said it would take about two weeks for a quote but I may need to reach out to him again. I asked if he had a card and he said no, then left.
