Good food, service was a bit slow, but the views and the ambiance were unmatched. Drinks weren't the best. There's a great little park right off the deck that had picturesque views.

Back again with a visitor from GA, and the Grille didn't disappoint! The patio was crowded and we were seated at a 6 top, even though there were just 2 of us. Loved the attention to getting us seated. We had said we would share our table if they needed it. Beautiful day and gorgeous view on a Monday at lunch. Becca was our server and she is fabulous--attentive and genuine interest in if we liked our food! We split the burger and the haddock sandwich with fresh fruit and chips. Was surprised to say I would come back for the burger (it was great)~ I'm already a fan of the haddock sandwich. Next time we would ask for more aioli sauce for the haddock. The chips were just chips, recommend spending your calories on something else. We left them on the table and had ice cream later! It's my go to spot for lunch with out of town guests!

Located overlooking the harbor next to the Bar Harbor Inn, with gorgeous views overlooking the Porcupine Islands in Frenchman's Bay. Great menu options, from the blueberry salad to a hamburger to haddock tacos to short rib (among many others). Each one is a delight, well designed with tastes and textures that complement each other perfectly. Our server, Kim, was helpful, with a smile that lights up with the sunset and great recommendations. You'll be well served here.

This was AMAZING! Loved the view from the terrace and it was a perfect vibe. We all enjoyed our meals soo much. It was perfectly made and portions were big. The wait can be a bit long when busy but you can walk around in the meantime. The drinks were so great as well! Service was pretty quick once we were seated! For dinner in Bar Harbor this was a highlight and you don't have to be staying at the hotel to go!

Amazing!!! When we decided to go here on a date, I imagined the atmosphere to be the highlight and the food to be average, but I was wrong. Both were excellent! I had the local haddock and my husband had salmon. Both were great but the haddock was the favorite! Sitting by the water made it feel like vacation and set the tone for a relaxing and romantic evening. They don't take reservations and we were told it would be a 45 minute wait, but we were seated in about 30. After ordering, the food came quickly. I would recommend making this restaurant a part of your plans!

Must try Burrata Salad! Deliciously breaded in a "pesto emulsion" perfectly paired w/heirloom tomatoes --simply LOVE at FIRST BITE!!

The most picturesque spot to have a meal in Bar Harbor -- This is the New England of my dreams! Excellent food, creative menu, accommodating staff, and quick friendly service! We disembarked around 8:30 pm from the Margaret Todd Schooner-- no reservations, just crossed our fingers that we could snag a waterfront table at this beautiful restaurant that seemed like a fairytale as we sailed near. The delicious food, ambiance and experience exceeded my expectations with a delightful meal enjoyed by the entire family on amagical summer night!

Amazing location! We had a couple of drinks and app before our dinner by the fire pit. No wait when we arrived. Dine in was 30 mins wait time around 6 pm on a Thursday night. Limited beer offering and appetizers. Perfect to start on night in Bar Harbor.

It took a bit to find because it's actually part of the Bar Harbor Inn. The ambiance is ON POINT! Beautiful tables overlooking the water, lots of flowers blooming on the walk. I like that they offer mocktails, I got the blueberry mojito one, which was good. I ordered the veggie pasta, I'm not sure if the pasta was cooked the full way because it was still a little tough - it could be because it was the second plate they brought out because the first had seafood in it. It was still pretty good. Came back another day to get the blueberry bread pudding and it was pretty tasty, but wish it had more blueberries.

Absolutely cannot beat this view in Bar Harbor and the food and service matched it. Our waiter Kevin was very attentive and helpful in making dinner choices. Had the haddock sandwich and my wife had the salmon. Both were outstanding. Cannot say enough - probably coming back tomorrow.

Love! Love! Love! The Terrace!! Eating outside enjoying the amazing views of the ships in the harbor makes this Maine menu a great treat for the entire family! Our waitress was the best host is guiding us through our menu and had the best dining experience! Would highly recommend along with all restaurants on property!

So impressed with this place!! Incredible views, to-die-for meals, and wonderful service. Order the lobster pappardelle and blueberry pie, and put your name in early to watch the sunset. Shoutout to Ben!

Amazing views of bar harbor, stunning and breath taking. They do no require reservations and can get cold at night so dress accordingly. We ordered the haddock, lobster roll and shrimp and grits. Dishes took slightly longer to come out but not too bad and seemed fresh in taste. Service was attentive.

Incredible view for lunch. Really stunning. Food was good enough (lobster roll, turkey sandwich) but it's the view that would bring us back.

It was chilly out but the patio was warmed by heat lamps and blankets were waiting for us on our seats. We ordered the midnight cocktail, a beer, the seafood chowder, prosciutto toast, patatas bravas, and duck tacos. I enjoyed all of the items, if I were visiting again I would reorder the tacos and the patatas. I know tapas typically are served as they're ready, not all at once, but each of our items were pretty spaced out so we were only eating one plate a time. I wish they were served a little closer together. I would love to come by again on a summer night to try a different cocktail and some of the other menu items. As other reviews have stated, the drinks and tapas are a little pricey, even for the area, but worth the splurge for a romantic evening or special occasion.

Score! I made a reservation for one but that wasn't really necessary on this particular Sunday evening in September. There were several patrons but it wasn't overly busy. I was given a four-top table which I was grateful for so I could spread out my Acadia maps and plan out my next few days. (It's a bit dark in the restaurant but I wasn't going to be *that* person and pull out my flashlight...) I ordered myself a glass of red wine, focaccia bread, and decided on the lobster tortellini appetizer, despite avoiding lobster, as already mentioned. My waitress let me know I could increase the number of tortellini so that it would be entree size. It was so amazing! The sauce was a sun-dried tomato sauce which was a great complement. The portion size was just was I was looking for. I can now attest lobster tortellini is better than lobster rolls. Great restaurant in Bar Harbor on Main Street! This spot is cozy and quaint and full of friendly local staff members. It was Kentucky Derby day and a lot of folks we were watching it as we walked in, ambiance was jovial and loud.
