    Lobster waffle fries

Really tasty and diverse menu options. They had beer flights, perfect for sampling local beers, and my family and I decided to create our own "tapas" menu for dinner. We devoured the pretzel (incredible mustard and beer cheese chips), the lobster waffle fries (which were even better with a little extra salting), and the Nachos (if you're a chili fan, you'll love these). Our waitress, Paige, was quite helpful, playful and kind. Liked the outside patio where we could see shops we wanted to visit. Inside was nice and cool on this warmer day, and the bathrooms were clean and well stocked.

The place has a great vibe, music, wood ceilings and rafters. My wife and I split a chicken salad sandwich with fries, tasty. The craft beers (Octoberfest Duck Pale) were refreshing. Service was good.

I had been here a year prior and had a great experience both visits. The food was pretty solid, good service, and a great place to people watch if you sit outside!

Hey, all things considered we had a good lunch here on a very typically busy day in Bar Harbor. The large restaurant is right on Main Street and has seating on the rooftop, inside and on a covered patio (where we ate). The patio is right by the sidewalk, so it's terrific for people watching while you're eating or drinking. They have a fine beer list of locals and imported, so enjoy. It's casual dining, to be sure, but our lunch was tasty: a BLT ($13) that was stuffed with yummy tomatoes and crispy bacon on nicely toasted bread; a chili bowl ($10) just spicy enough; and a cup of New England clam chowder ($8), quite agreeable and not as thick and jammed with potatoes as we've found elsewhere. It took a while to get service, but once started it was ok. They have a big menu and we (obviously) sampled only a few items.

It's a great place for drinking and large groups. The beer selection is good. They have beer from all over Maine. We didn't have any food so not sure. The service could be a bit friendlier and more attentive. It's a bit slow here. It took a while for anyone to come by to take our order or refill water. Also the bathroom could use some cleaning. It's really filthy. P. S. The price for a pint or 6 beer flight is really high compared to most places. The patio is really nice though, and has a great atmosphere.

Great patio! Haddock was DELICIOUS! Friendly service. The waffle fries were not worth the up charge IMHO. Would come back!

We tried a lot of places on our Maine vacation. This was not one of them. Food was not fresh. Out of many of the beer choices. Staff not friendly.

This spot is cozy and quaint and full of friendly local staff members. It was Kentucky Derby day and a lot of folks we were watching it as we walked in, ambiance was jovial and loud. Greeted immediately by the hostess and bartender and waited a short while for a table to open up. I ordered the chicken sandwich and my husband ordered the Reuben. He is Jewish and loves Reubens, gets them all the time. He said this one was really, really good. Great texture to the meat. Now, my Chicken Sandwich - was the best I've ever had in my life. I told my husband, I will be holding any and all future chicken sandwiches up to this one as the benchmark. The breaded chicken breast was huge and delicious quality white meat. It was dipped in buffalo sauce, and had fresh slaw, pickles, tomato and blue cheese sauce. It was DECADENT and it really hit the spot for me after a long day. I could not stop eating it. YUMMMM. Oh, we also ordered the pub fries - loaded with aioli and cheese and greens. Fries were delish but a bit too much aioli for our taste. Still, wonderful! Huge portion. Overall, food was yummy, out quickly, service was great and we loved the vibes. Easily a fav for us on this trip and we'll be looking forward to coming back again some day!

Their menu is surprisingly diverse and everything we tried was perfectly executed with extremely fresh ingredients. Everything is made from scratch, from the corn tortillas in the tacos to the tzatziki sauce in their lamb kofta. The cocktails were also expertly crafted. The ones I had used in-houses infused tequila and mezcal. But what really sets Project Social apart is the service and hospitality. Special thanks to Nicole for remembering that my kids had nut allergies and removing the pistachios from the bruschetta without my asking. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Bar Harbor.

It was chilly out but the patio was warmed by heat lamps and blankets were waiting for us on our seats. We ordered the midnight cocktail, a beer, the seafood chowder, prosciutto toast, patatas bravas, and duck tacos. I enjoyed all of the items, if I were visiting again I would reorder the tacos and the patatas. I know tapas typically are served as they're ready, not all at once, but each of our items were pretty spaced out so we were only eating one plate a time. I wish they were served a little closer together. I would love to come by again on a summer night to try a different cocktail and some of the other menu items. As other reviews have stated, the drinks and tapas are a little pricey, even for the area, but worth the splurge for a romantic evening or special occasion.

Our waiter told us he didn't know where lobsters came from until he recently moved here. lol For an appetizer, we shared the Crab & Appetizer Dip. It was delicious!!! Definitely not healthy but we didn't care, we ate most of it. Tip: eat it while it's hot! It's definitely not good cold. For lunch, I had the Bar Harbor Lobster Cobb salad and my husband had the Steamed Maine Lobster. My salad was amazing! The lobster was fresh, tender, and overall the flavors of the salad went well together with the honey citrus dressing. My husband wasn't crazy about his lobster, he said the meal was acceptable but the lobster was overcooked.
