Hidden gem for sure! I love coming here for breakfast! Parking isn't so bad and it's right next to LA Kitchen #2 and also an Indian restaurant on Ashlan and Marks. I've tried multiple dishes and none of them disappointed! As soon as you walk in, it gives country vibes and it's also quiet. The waiters seat you right away too! I like to start off with coffee always! My #1 plate is the chorizo scramble. It comes with country potatoes, tortillas, beans, sour cream and salsa. It's so delicious I'm telling you! Overall the place is amazing, I'm a huge fan of the chile Colorado and so is my man. We always get that dish. Huge portions and great price. However, the reason I did not give them five stars is because I tried their shrimp taco, and it was very underwhelming. Other than that, everything is good. If they serve you food and you don't like it at all, they won't take it back and they will still charge you for it. That's what happened with my shrimp taco unfortunately. This place is the definition of homestyle comfort. The portions are massive, the biscuits and gravy were excellent! And the service feels like a warm hug from family. My Dad had the Chili Verde Omelette. He said it was hard to pick from such a huge menu in his opinion it was the best thing on the menu! With tender pork, tangy green sauce, and perfectly melted cheese. Even better, the service was incredible! My coffee stayed full and the food arrived piping hot in no time. Have been to this restaurant several times now. Great food and staff. Very attentive! Stopped by this morning but there was a full house. The wait would have been long. The owner-Rigo has two other restaurants. One in Kerman and one in Sanger. The Sanger spot has a Sunday buffet. I've been wanting to try it out. We were seated right away and service was fast. Food was just ok. Nothing spoke to me on the menu so I settled for the biscuits and gravy. The server asked if I wanted to make it a meal which came with bacon and eggs. (This adds $6 btw) The portion was huge but the gravy was bland. There was barely any meat in it. Cool little place nestled in a strip mall. We stopped by after a trip to Forestiere Gardens. Great service & food! Our waitress kept our glasses filled & checked in often! Decided to try a new breakfast place this morning. The reviews I'd read were good, so off I went. They're located on the SW corner of Ashlan and Marks in a little shopping center. When I entered, I was greeted and seated right away. It was a tad bit warm at first, but I was comfortable throughout my stay. Cute place, kind of like a cowboy/western theme inside. Comfy booth with condiments there at the ready. I opted for green tea and a senior breakfast with an egg (I think I got two), two sausage links and a biscuit with gravy. My scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly. I didn't care for the sausage links. They were in a casing, not like the usual Farmer John links that are my favorite. The star of the show was their biscuits and gravy. It was really good. Sausage based, but not oily. It was pepper-y and delicious! Nice staff. Decent pricing. read more

Looked this place up on Yelp and went to give it a try , the place was clean n spacious. The server greeted us and sat us promptly. The coffee was. To strong for my taste . Great little hidden breakfast spot. Come here often and always greeted right away and feel a nice vibe. They usually just let you choose a seat. I've only tried the breakfast so far so good. My son ordered the ham steak special and I ordered a side order biscuit n gravy because I wasn't really hungry and it was still huge! The coffee was great and the servers were constantly making rounds to refill. They provide the sugar/splenda/sweet n low at the tables along with a small plate of creamers (hazelnut/plain/vanilla) They have 3 TVs mounted up with random stuff playing and also play country music. It is a bit expensive for breakfast but now everything pretty much is. If in the area and wanting breakfast it's a great option. I've been here twice now and enjoyed both meals, as did everyone I was with. Good, friendly service, good food, generous portions, etc., etc. My eggs were cooked exactly as I ordered both times. The time I went on a weekday there were no hashbrowns - only country potatoes - but on Sunday, hash browns were available and they were great! My wife says it's the best biscuits/gravy she's had in town and while I don't often order that, I do like to steal some bites and I agree, very good on both counts. If I could change anything, I'd love for rye toast to be an option (and Pepper Plant or Crystal hot sauces) but that's about it. The corner of Ashlan and Marks has seen better days - which is sadly true of most every place - but the restaurant is clean and inviting. A+. read more

We were in the area and decided to stop by this place after looking for a breakfast joint. We got seated really quickly, and we were in luck bc it got really busy after we were having breakfast. Zoe was a total sweetheart and checked on us a few times. We all ordered different items, a breakfast plate, a country steak and eggs, pozole, & country Benedict. One thing that did kind of threw us off was when my father in law asked if they can please bring out his toast with the breakfast and Ana the waitress responded "she will try her best" and started explaining about the toaster and the sourdough which I didn't think was necessary ‍ The food was good the pancakes were yummy and fluffy and the bacon was perfectly cooked! Okay.... The pozole OMG it was delicious, had a nice kick too it but not too much. I was surprised I'm not a fan of pozole at restaurant but this was soooo good.
