I took an iPhone to another shop to have it repaired. The issue was the screen separating. Per Dr Google it was a swollen battery, but I'm no expert. I took it in and was told the adhesive gave out from heat. They supposedly repaired it, but the same issue happened within day of the initial "fix". I took it back and was told they didn't have the part I needed and it would take days to receive the parts. It was in fact a swollen battery. The guy there zip tied my phone together and asked me to come back in three days. I noticed some lines that appeared on the edge. He said that was from the battery going out. Strange, but I'm no expert. So I called Batteries Plus to see if they had iPhone batteries. Guess what?! They do! AND they repair iPhones. I took my now zip tied phone (done by other shop) to Batteries plus. Upon arrival I was advised that my phone did have swollen batteries AND my LCD had been cracked. My level of upset was at the top now. The guys there were amazing. They fixed my phone in less than 20min. No fluff. Very reasonably priced. I really wish I knew before I went to that other hack that they repaired iPhones! Hopefully this will help someone else. read more

If I could give less than 1* I would - car battery purchased less than 1 year and company did not stand behind warranty. Do not buy from Batteries+ - products are cheap crap with shorter life span than when purchased elsewhere. Have had similar experience with auto light bulbs - cheap crap that burn out within a year!! read more

It is tough being green. Kermit the frog knew this well. You use compact fluorescent bulbs. You can't toss them in the trash as they contain mercury. Batteries Plus will recycle them. Old batteries are toxic so don't trash them.Old light bulbs and old batteries can find a new home. Take them in for recycling. Batteries Plus has all the replacements ready to roll. Great service. Just had a great experience here with Brad. He took an extended amount of time to help solve my custom li-ion battery application problem. He had the tools and expertise to identify the problem, which was not the battery I brought in, it was my charger. That was great news, because replacement batteries for my device are $200 each. He offered advice and alternative solutions to save me money. Brad also expertly repaired an exposed wire that I had pulled loose opening my device. I will definitely come back to this location. I wish I had come here first, instead of wasting an hour at Radio Shack with a teenager who had zero electronics knowledge. Common sense would suggest that in such a specialized store, they would care about taking really really good care of their customers so that they RETURN. It's not like I can get light bulbs and batteries anywhere else.... They looked up the headlights for my car and I bought them, but they were the wrong bulbs. When I tried to return them, I was 1 day past the date on the receipt. They would not take the bulbs back, and rudely asked why it took us so long to come back. I will never go near this place again. PLEASE BEWARE! Two weeks ago they put in an unauthorized battery in mu Iphone. This week my phone fried and is ruined. Apple will not work on it due to type of battery they put in. I tend to buy most of my batteries (AA, AAA, etc) & many accessories here but have always purchased my car batteries from NTB. This time I went out of my comfort zone and spent $150ish on a car battery for my kid's Toyota Camry about a month ago. I have been trying to fix it up for the next kid in line to drive it and the battery replacement was part of the process (I am no car mechanic!). I had replaced a couple of pieces on the car and replaced the battery because I wasn't driving it enough. After about 1 month, we had been driving it more frequently but probably only once per week but the battery stopped holding a charge. I removed the battery and took it to Batteries Plus to see if the battery was the problem or if I needed to look into another problem. I was told there was no juice in it at all and that "I don't know what you did to it but the warranty does not cover a battery that is this low". I was a little confused and upset and explained that the battery had been in the car for 1 month and I did not know what happened and my visit was the first step in my investigative process. I was told multiple times that I had somehow ruined the battery and that it would not be covered under warranty. One of the staff offered to try to charge it but was sure it wouldn't charge and, you guessed it, if it wouldn't charge the warranty was void. On a hunch, I called NTB to ask what their policy is in a case like mine. I was told that the battery would be honored and that if it happened they would recommend getting my car evaluated for the underlying problem. He also suggested that I speak to the manager or owner of the store but I told him that I would just come back to NTB for my car batteries. I have spent hundreds, if not thousands of dollars at Batteries Plus over the years but they just lost a lifetime customer over $150ish. It's crazy because they say it costs 5:1 more dollars to get a new customer over taking care of your existing customers. It's unfortunate! read more

My screen protector (not one sold by Batteries Plus) had been cracked for a few weeks and I heard from a friend that the Battery Plus guys were helpful. Not only did they sell me a great screen protector but they replaced my broken one while I waited at no extra charge! I bought a second protector for my husband and they offered to place it on his phone anytime if he didn't want to do it himself. Additionally, they instructed me to register our new screen protectors because there's a Lifetime warranty on them. I will stick with Batteries Plus! read more

Was specifically told a fixed screen is covered under warranty if the screen pops off. Well, my screen popped off, causing the screen to crack. Mind you I did not drop the phone. I was simply taking off the case to put a new one on. They said the screen popping out would not cause it to crack, therefore it not being the screens fault, and therefore not covered under warranty. Although, he said he could get me "a deal" to fix the screen. Thank you for the complete lack of customer service. I would rather you tell me there is no warranty than lie to me. Jason is the technician at the We Fix It shop inside of Batteries Plus on Bee Cave Rd. He was wonderful to work with when my iPhone battery suddenly died. He replaced the battery, then noticed that the new one wouldn't hold a charge either, so he started troubleshooting. Was super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and skilled. When it appeared that the charging port was also blown on my phone, and I didn't want to pay to make both repairs on such an old phone, he allowed me to take the new battery home and get a last-minute back up done on my phone before it died again, then return the battery the next day for a full refund. Even though they didn't get a sale this time, they took care of their customer and as a result have a loyal customer for life! We've also bought numerous car batteries there, have our watches on their life-time battery deal, and have had good tutorials on the different types of lighting and their pros and cons. I am furious with this store. I went in to have my screen fixed and the moment I got it back I saw that my screen had a blue tint (the Snapchat logo was approaching green) and that the colors were really washed out. I asked about it and the cashier asked the repairman. The repairman's response was comically passive aggressive: "You know, some people when they get their phones back can be really nit-picky about it". I turned around and immediately left the store. Everyone else in the store was lovely, but the repairman was a total jerk. FYI I took the phone somewhere else and they heard me out, took out a different iPhone for comparison, went through all my display settings to make sure it was a screen problem, confirmed that it was, and booked me in for an appointment on Saturday. Pleasantly surprised by my visit to B+B ... it was really an educational experience. I just moved into an older unit where a main overhead light has a non-standard fixture. The knowledgeable staff found me an LED bulb with a candelabra base, which provided enough brightness for the entire room. They took the time to clearly explain the various bulb types (incandescent, CFR, LED, etc.) and the life span and environmental implications of each, measurement units (watts vs. lumens), and special considerations for older fixtures. I appreciate the personalized help and the information ... they are specialists, and it shows! read more

I went in to buy a watch battery and found out they fix I-phones as well. My power button was broke and a repair shop on 620 said no could do and another on Anderson Mill never answers their phone. So it was going to be a PITA to mail it somewhere. Michael,the tech, had it fixed in a few hours, good as new! While there I had them change another watch battery. I was told if I bought x? dollars of LED bulbs the watch repair was free with free battery replacement for life! Well I could not pass up that deal so we have some cool color changing LED cabinet lights now. Finally the last reason for 5 stars is they checked my car batteries, one I knew was going bad (4 years old), the other, Acura said was bad, but past the test here! I did not know Duracell made car batteries. I am buying one from them for less than Autozone with a 3 year full replacement. The other employees I met were all very helpful and impressed me with their customer service. read more
