I just had a very good experience here! My cockatiel bird ate my BOSE wireless speaker power cord. I was told to come there from another store in the area. The guys were very helpful! They immediately went online to find a replacement...then one guy said...I can fix this myself! He spent about 15 minutes working on it. He came out and tested it and it worked! Then he said there is no charge! Say what? He said Merry Christmas! That part from Bose is $40...online it's about $20. They saved me a lot of money! Thank you! About a year ago I needed a battery for my cell phone. The Verizon store didn't have one, and suggested I try this store. I went in and told the counter person I needed a battery for my specific phone. He said he had one and put it in for me .Later that week I noticed that the new battery didn't hold a charge as nearly as long as the one that came with the phone, so I opened the case and discovered that the battery instead of being specifically for my cell was a generic Ray-o-Vac battery for which I had been charged about the same amount as I would have paid for the cell-specific battery. I needed my phone to charge, so I didn't take it back, but I will never again buy a phone battery there. After market batteries are said to have the potential to cause cell phones to catch fire and explode. Batteries Plus may have a battery that fits your phone, but is not specific to it. On the other hand, I have had good luck and fair pricing on watch batteries where specificity is not important. read more

Just got two Duracell Ultra AGM group 24 batteries for my RV house circuit from the S. Virginia St store in Reno after several telephone inquiries and face-to-face conversation with them about the optimum selection of replacements. Each contact was greeted with courtesy and patience and it was apparent they knew their stuff. So I showed up after lunch today and by chance got the owner to do the transaction. Don Vergilio is no slouch and he personally carried over 100 lbs of battery out the door and installed them as I watched him work. He didn't pass the work off to one of the half dozen other workers taking care of a constant stream of customers. I asked him about other brands and he explained the differences but never tried to upsell me to the Cadillac. I appreciated that he left the decision to me after laying out the pros and cons. This is not my first visit for batteries. A few weeks ago, I had two battery packs for a drill, circular saw, recip saw and utility lite combo set I bought from Harbor Freight 8-10 yrs ago. HF said they were obsolete and I had to upgrade to new equipment. Batteries Plus rebuilt the battery packs for me at almost the same price as I could find the core components on EBay, and the tools run stronger now than they did when new! Please do not waste your time or your money! Go to the Apple Store to repair your apple screen! repaired mine less than a month ago by this store. Today my screen was completely lifting. I called 3 times today to verify that they still had my info in their computer so I didn't have to go searching through receipts. They never picked up. Realizing that they were busy I went home and decided to call tomorrow. I knew my phone was in a delicate state. The moment my phone dropped from the counter top onto the floor (FULLY PROTECTED BY A 5 star case) I felt dread. Sure enough, phone is cracked. 7 year iPhone user and first accidental crack was a month ago by my kid. How is this possible? Going to Apple tomorrow and having it repaired correctly. i have been very happy with this store in terms of service for batteries and, in fact, would give them my custom again. The guys up front are very helpful and friendly and know their business. Today, however, I brought in my iPhone 7 for a cracked glass repair. I was quoted a price and told it would take two hours... reasonable. However, on return the tech came out and said there was a problem. He told me that the selfie camera was smashed, OK, I accept that. Then he said the home button wasn't working. THAT was working when I dropped it off. He then went off on what a horrible phone the iPhone 7 was and how it couldn't be fixed, etc, etc, etc. He then threw my problem onto a young associate, said that an on screen home button could be set up but he was sooo busy he didn't have time and disappeared. Mike, the young associate, was not especially familiar with iPhones but he took the time to look online and figure out how to set up the on screen home button. The tech may or may not have been responsible for the button failing after I dropped it off but his customer service left MUCH to be desired. I would definitely return to get batteries or bulbs but NOT to have any electronics repaired. read more

I called and made an appointment to have an iPhone screen repaired and when I showed up they told me that you can't make an appointment over the phone and they were all booked for phones so they couldn't take me in for the night. The customer service was terrible, when I walked in one employee was outside smoking a cigarette and the other two were inside on their phones. The employee smoking opened the door and stood there with his lit cigarette yelling across the room to the other employees. When I said I was going to go somewhere else they yelled at me while I was walking out the door "yeah get out." VERY POOR CUSTOMER service and getting a screen fixed is cheaper else where! read more

I would like to take a moment to recognize the OUTSTANDING customer service my husband and I received from Rob today!!! We were in a nearby parking lot and our 2018 Nissan Pathfinder wouldn't start and we thought it was our battery. So, after googling what was nearby I walked to Batteries Plus Bulbs, told them my situation and next thing I know Rob hopped in his van loaded up a battery charger and jumper cables, gave me a ride back to my car and proceeded to help jump my vehicle...despite his efforts it wouldn't start...he then got back in his van and drove back to the store to get a new car battery..still wouldn't start...then he took my key fob back to the store and changed the battery and brought it back...still wouldn't start...Rob was sooo nice and selfless to take time on a HOT day to help us get our car started. Brought in my 8plus with a shattered screen. All of the staff was friendly. The repair was done in less than an hour. When I got home I noticed that the screen had a little give to it in the upper corner. I brought it back in and the tech was able to add some adhesive to make sure it wouldn't move on me. What ever you do NEVER buy the Duracell Ultra (Dura12-9F2). I bought 3 of these for APC UPS's and they all failed with 3 months. Cheap made in China junk. I was later told that this type of battery from B+B never lasts more than 1 year although they claim 3 years like the originals. read more
