They replaced the batteries for me and the cost is very reasonable. These people are pleasant & tried to help but the poor rating is because their guarantee doesn't cover them ruining your phone. IMPORTANT: DO NOT BRING ANY IPHONES HERE FOR REPAIR!!! I initially brought my iPhone in to get a cracked screen repaired. I have now had it worked on 3 times to fix the fact it keeps hanging up on calls now or putting people on hold & dialing someone else in my contact list, pulling up other apps, etc. I took it to an Apple store but they can't help you once someone else has worked on it. There was also a woman working there who was quite rude. May have been having a bad day but definitely not welcoming. So for all else this store is ok, but don't take Apple products there. I asked for some clarification given the fact that I'm inexperienced with the technology they work with, and she gave me attitude. I even apologized for asking too many questions. Was looking for a special battery for an older item I have - they were helpful and knowledgeable! No issues - got what I needed!

I go in with a flashlight to get a battery for it and knew it was a 14500 battery but wanted to double check. So the guy looks at it and goes in the back to get the woman that was in charged to look at it. She said that the 14500 was to small and needed a 18500. I told her I don't think so and believe the other size is right but still disagreed, so being the "expert" she is, I listened. So after I said ill take it she told the guy and said "just ring them up" and goes back to hiding. So I go outside to my car to try the battery and it ends up being too big! So I couldn't return the batteries and had to buy the battery that I knew would work and it ended up being the right battery. So I wasted 11 bucks on batteries that I'll never use. So I recommend knowing what you need before you go or the lady will disagree and sell you the wrong stuff so you can't return and waste your money. read more

These folks can put a new battery in just about anything, including some odd little vacuum cleaners I have. They're reasonably priced and it only takes them a few days to take apart and put back together the appliance with a new battery. They used to close really early, but they have great extended hours now. read more

This is what customer service once was and should always be. I could not be more pleased with my experience here. I ordered a battery online for a pickup in the store. The owner called me right away to tell me that the battery I ordered was not in stock (when the website said it was) but that he could get me a better battery and get me an additional discount that I had missed. I drove over, the battery was waiting and when I asked he might have any tools to replace the battery I was given the a full tray of tools. Then when I couldn't get the old battery out the owner came out, helped me extensively and made sure that the new battery was running perfectly. Oh, and he not only found a mail-in rebate for the battery, he filled all the information out for me in advance! Talk about going above and beyond. If you need a car battery (or any other battery or bulb I would imagine) this is THE place to go. read more

I went in to get a battery for a 3 million candle powered flashlight. They were helpful in making sure the battery I was purchasing was the correct voltage and size. I went back to work and tried to put the battery in and the flashlight would barely light up. I called them back and spoke with Gary. He said to bring in the battery and the flashlight so he could find out what the real problem was. He took the time to inspect the battery I had purchased and looked at the flashlight (that I did not purchase through him) finding that there was a hidden battery behind the bulbs that needed to be replaced as well. He took an extra 30 minutes out of his day to make sure that I had a working flashlight (again, one that he had no obligation to inspect or repair). I have been in this store several times to find odd batteries and light bulbs. They always seem to have what I want. Today I came back with a problem from a set of bike batteries not charging on an e bike. They had sold me the replacement batteries, but the charger did not seem to be working. Mike and Sandy spent at least a half hour working taking apart the box holding the batteries and they found the solution which was not from their batteries but from my error. This is a good old-fashioned Mom & Pop store that has pretty much any kind of battery you could think of, everything from electronics to car batteries to things you think "oh man, I'm going to have to go to the manufacturer for this thing." In the 20 minutes I was there I watched someone come in with a jumper pack used in service garages and another guy come in with a cable modem of some kind that has a backup battery inside it (maybe if there's a blackout he'll still be able to watch CSI?) I came in with a Blackberry (shut up, don't even start) that was having battery trouble and the store had the exact model I needed, cheaper than if I went to AT&T. read more
