We went to Mavis because my husband was hearing noises near his wheels. Mavis quoted us $2700 to replace the upper and lower control arms because they said they were bad. I had given this company a 5 star review but let me tell you why it changed…read more I took a van in and it needed new struts. They replaced the struts and after the struts were replaced the front end started popping. I took it back 4 times and they told me to just drive it 500 to a 1000 miles to let the parts settle in. Now after the parts have "settled" in the popping is worse. Today they said the only way they would warranty out the struts, that totaled $3200 and included new tires, they would have to change the ball jounts for another $850. You would think that with all this front end work they would have seen this issue before replacing the struts or one of the other 4 times I had it in for the popping noise.
