The service seems good, no issues with driving. The cost was a little outrageous. I had an alignment done and it cost 450$... they needed some camber bushings or something but an hour and half- 459$ is insane. Work seems right cost is high. I've been using liberty now for the past year or so. My friend Phillip works here so I started using them. Couldn't be happier. Prices are extremely reasonable. Service is top notch. I took a newly bought vehicle here that had a shimmying while driving. Eddie called me and said he couldn't help due to the fact the rims were in bad shape. He didn't charge me, any normal place would've took my money. I take all my vehicles here now and they can correct any problem I've got! They are the best of the best! I brought my car in to get looked at. They were very honest about what was wrong and didn't try to add any extra expenses! They told me I needed to get a recall and to get that done first before they did anything for my breaks because if I did my breaks first they would get ruined faster. I have been a customer of theirs for years. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I've never questioned they offer the best service at the best prices in Onslow County. Today I was in getting the oil changed in my car. I told Philip my car hadn't wanted to crank a few times. He had the mechanic check my battery. He told me the load test was good but the way it was acting battery maybe getting bad. He could have told me battery was bad and sold me a new one, I would never have known. My daddy was a mechanic almost his entire life. He never overcharged, oversold or did unnecessary work. Due to the consistency of quality; the effortless customer service, the smiles and respect I give these guys 5 solid stars. The things listed here when put all together are the gold standard. I left out perhaps the most important characteristic and that is Honesty with a capital H. So if you want your car to be serviced, well by a bunch of great guys this would be that place. Like anyone who finds a great doctor or plumber or... It is so nice to have the confidence of knowing of the quality of your experience before you interact and feeling good about that interaction. There is an old tale about how people used to either up sell an item or procedure you didn't need or flat out lie about the state of your car. Or what was done or not. This shop makes you feel a little better about humanity and speaking of humanity if you need to drop off the car and have nowhere to go check out Restore across the street. Great people who are easy to talk to and you just might find something special to accompany you home. Restore gives back to the community by selling items that can then be used for building supplies and eventually through Habitat for Humanity becomes a house for someone who most certainly needs one. My girlfriend and her family have had problems with this business before and this was the final straw. They failed to change out the engine air filter and who knows how long she's been driving around with no air filter and the top hanging off, not to mention that one of her family member had problems. I am from out of town but from a recommendation from someone I went to Liberty Tire to have my brakes fixed. The guy I talked to was very peasant and said they would call me once they looked at the car. About an hour later another guy called me and said I did need front brakes but they had found a slash in one of my tires and did I want to replace it. I told him I never replace just one and I knew they all were getting worn and asked how much they would charge me. We discussed it and in the discussion he said since I was getting all 4 done and the brakes he would " throw in an alignment" so I told him to go ahead and do it. . Later in the day they called and said my car was ready. When I went to get it and looked at the bill- I was charged for the alignment. The first guy I talked to was checking me out and said he would look into it. a THIRD man who I later learned was the owner came by and very bruskly said I was wrong that they do not give away anything. He told the guy waiting on me to call the guy that had called me. He of course denied saying that bc now the owner was angry. I told them that I did not appreciate being called a liar nor being sold something under false pretense since I travel for work and usually get my tires from either Walmart or Sams. The owner then flew into a rage and and said" We still have the measurement and I can fix it for you!!!! We can put it right back where it was and you WON'T have to pay for it!!!!! ( I paid and left bc I did not want him touching my car again) HE DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE IN BUSINESS!!!!!!!!! read more

These people were beyond nice like holy crap they were not only nice but also quick I loved the service I had received from them everyone greeted me and they gave me a price upfront and were also very affordable! I called ahead to ask about having my oil changed and tires rotated and decided to drop it off. When I arrived, the younger man asked for my VIN# so he would know exactly how much synthetic oil would be needed. Before I went back to the car to get my registration I asked for an approximate cost. He quickly snapped back that he would not be able to give me an estimate until he had the VIN#. I must have had a surprised look on my face because the next thing he did was make an exaggerated surprised face right back. Very rude! I tried to ignore it and started to ask another question when his rudeness continued. I said to him that he was rude and the face was uncalled for....he response was OK! so I left......a single 60 year old grandma who simply found herself out of town, needing an oil change and tire rotation!? no warm fuzzies here - very disheartened. These guys are great. I went in not knowing much about tires in general and had picked out some that were pretty expensive, going off what my car already had on it. The man I worked with told me I didn't need that kind of tire if I wasn't going off road or on the beach. He saved me alot of money. They are honest, helpful and had my car done pretty quickly. Came in for an oil change and the turn around was pretty quick.. But, it showed. How they return my car without the cap to the antifreeze container is beyond me. So not only do I NOT have a cap, but 75% of the antifreeze is gone. It's piss poor and since they waste NO time leaving when it's closing time, I have to wait until they get back tomorrow. I came here on the recommendation of a coworker after starting my day out with a flat (yay!). The staff were very friendly and helpful, and told me the bad news that the tire was irreparable (old age... way to go me). I had them replace all 4 so I wouldn't have a repeat situation the next week. While a whole new set of tires is never cheap (especially for a large SUV), Liberty was very reasonably priced and got the job done quickly. I ended up taking my husbands truck in shortly after, and they pulled a screw from the tire, patched it, and rotated the tires for under $20 bucks and were friendly as usual. The so called owner of this business has no customer service skills. My vehicle came out of his bay with a center piece missing from my wheel cover. My husband did not notice this. In less than 6 hrs I noticed right away as we went out together in the vehicle. Called there and was basically called a liar. Real strange one of his then employees had the same vehicle. They didnt deserve the one star i gave them. They way over charged me for parts that that are dold60 dollars a peice at auto zone. The cost for those parts were a199 dollars there.So i told then not to do anything eles that i needed after talking to my husband whom has worked in a garage and has witness companys like this screw there customers out of money.
