Made an appointment a week a head of time to have my oil pan repaired. Called the day before and spoke to a lady to confirm the appointment. She yes come in between 8 and 9. Went in the next morning only to be told that they do not have the equipment to do the job. I've been going their for 20 years. Not going back ever!! Very disappointed . I miss Steve. They really need to get their shit together!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm going to look for somewhere new. read more

Came here based on a Yelp review... Was not disappointed. Wanted them to look at my brakes and the owner, Steve, brought me into the shop to show me the condition of my rotors and pads. At some places they don't volunteer to do this. The price he quoted was very reasonable. While waiting for the work to be done I was sitting in the comfortable waiting area with an elderly gentleman who brought his car in worrying about a coolant leak. Steve told him they had pressure tested his coolant system and found no leaks, added in a quart of coolant and would not recommend replacing his thermostat since they couldn't really say it was malfunctioning. No phony up selling. And to top it off when the guy asked how much the service would cost, Steve said "no charge." Finding an honest repair shop is like finding an honest politician. We're in Emerald isle for a week, and I realized the tires on our family wagon were subpar for the drive home. I was loathe to use a local shop, thinking I'd be taken for a ride, as is the proper due for the unprepared summer traveller. However, I found great reviews of this shop and Steve. Bought a set of great tires at a totally fair price. He scheduled me at 1 and I was out of there by 2, with a few six packs in hand from the next door Harrika's Brew Haus (just go). Thank you so much for the quick tire repair. Family was leaving EI after our vacation and found we had a flat tire. A screw was in the tire and after calling around we got an appointment at All Pro in Cedar Point. We arrived about an hour early hoping we could get in and they had a cancellation so took us right away. In less than 30 minutes we were back on our way. Great service when my tire had a puncture. Out alone and in need of assistance,I spotted the neat appearance of the business and chose to stop. I was immediately approached, asked the details of my problem. I was asked to wait in the pleasant, very clean waiting area. I first started going to All Pro eight years ago! I had work for Goodyear in the past, first in sales and finally a store manager. With that said I know when someone is peeing down my back and trying to convince me it's a hot shower! Steve is up front and to the point! In the auto tire and repair business it can be a dog eat dog world! I'll assure you, you could get a quote from Steve and the take that quote to another Tire story and apples for apples there won't be a 2% spread in the price! So if your the kind of person that will squeeze a penny until Lincoln farts! Go or call around until you drive 30 or 40 miles to save a dollar! Steve would probably be better off in long run if you did! Over past 8 plus years I've bought several sets of tires along with service and repairs. My last visit cost me $1250 bucks! When Steve call me with the quote I didn't even question it! I said ok do it! I'll assure you Steve and his crew are honest and trustworthy! I've sent serval people to Al-Pro over the years and I've never heard one complaint! I know what your thinking but no! He doesn't have a halo over his head! I lived for a year on Emerald Isle. I had several issues that got repaired before I found this place, and wish I had met Steve earlier. He is honest, thorough, and has great guys working for him. He prefers reservations, but will take anything that comes his way. Nothing but praise for him - he repaired the 1996 Volvo and the 2002 Taurus. Steve was able to work my Honda CR-V in on the Friday before Labor Day for an oil change and tire rotation. I had an appointment at 1pm and my car was in the garage at 1:03pm! He said it'd be 30-45 minutes and I'm sure it was parked outside (in the shade, btw - nice touch) within that time (I was bike riding). I'd asked him to let me know if they saw anything else it might need since I put a lot of miles on it and he said it was in great shape - nothing additional needed. Now, how many mechanics have you been to that LOOK HARD for whatever they can when you leave yourself open to a bigger bill like I did, right? Honest guy. My car takes synthetic oil and I won't say how much it cost as I don't want folks asking for $xx, but I'll tell you it was a smaller bill than the last place I took it for the exact same service. I have been going to All Pro Tire & Auto for about 7 years. I happen to be in Jacksonville one day and went somewhere else. I was trying to find out what was wrong with my car because the check engine light was on. The other company hooked it up on the machine and said that their was six things wrong. They smoked it out and could not find the leak. I then took it to All pro and they found the hose that was leaking. I was just going to have them do $200.00 dollars worth of work so that I can get a wavier for my sticker. Steve and his guys are the best and they are HONEST and they saved me money. I had the good fortune of meeting the gentlemen at All Pro on March 28th when my vehicle broke down 10 minutes into my 5 1/2 hour trip home from Emerald Isle. My vehicle had been towed to two different mechanics and the one who could do the work on it could not begin until the following day, if not the day after. I was very concerned about missing my work and family obligations at home for an undetermined amount of time but didn't want to take my chances having it towed again to a new shop. While walking to secure a hotel and food I found All Pro - they said they could do the work but unfortunately the parts would not be delivered before the shop's closing time. I understood and asked if I could use their waiting room to charge my phone and make some calls. About 10 minutes later the manager ( I believe, and forgive me if I have his title wrong) told me they felt badly about my situation and would stay open to repair my vehicle as long as I could get it to their shop. To say I was overwhelmed with gratitude is putting it mildly. My car did not need the repair the other shops felt it was going to need, so once the guys at All Pro opened it up I was back on the road in less than an hour. They also told me ethically they would not replace the alternator with the new one I had ordered because the one I had was testing fine. I cannot express my appreciation for their courtesy and honesty enough - I was a long way from home and alone, and they went above and beyond for me.
