Really liked the biriyani at Dwaraka Bawarchi. The place was relatively empty because of the holiday but the service was a bit slow but the food was extremely fresh so I'll take it. It so nice to have a good Indian place near us in Round Rock. The Gobi 65 was a crunchy appetizer and very flavorful. The egg briyani was good and the portion size was very large (enough for 2 meals for 2 people) . We will definitely come back!

Biryani's are best. Especially Rajugari Chicken, Vijayawada Boneless, Rajugari Mutton & Jackfruit Biryani. Chicken pakora and 65 are best ..

The restaurant itself has a really cool atmosphere, and it's always clean and inviting. Every employee I've interacted with has been genuinely friendly and welcoming, which makes me want to keep coming back. If you're looking for great ramen, especially if you're vegetarian, I definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Ramen Tatsu-ya Round Rock is the real deal! Just wrapped up…read moreanother great visit to the Round Rock location (960 North Mays) and had to bump this up in my book. Even with a heat index of 108°, I still walked in for their hot, succulent bone broth ramen...that's how good it is. The "LIVE NOODS" neon sign above the open kitchen is a perfect touch, you can watch the team pulling fresh noodles and building bowls right in front of you. It gives the place that energetic, authentic feel while keeping everything clean and modern. Wooden counters, red accent lighting, QR code ordering, and those sturdy stools make it comfortable for a quick solo meal or hanging with friends/family. Shout-out to Ana -- she was the absolute guide to deliciousness! She took my order with a smile and gave spot-on recommendations that led me straight to the good stuff. Service like that makes all the difference. I went with the Texasy Tonk (deep 60hr+ tonkotsu broth loaded with smoked brisket, smoked jalapeños, takana mustard greens, ajitama egg, and thunder oil) rich, savory, perfectly balanced heat, great chew on the noodles, and melt-in-your-mouth brisket. For the side I grabbed the Hot Pocketz from the Summer Combo (crispy birria-style brisket pockets with Oaxaca/Monterey Jack blend and birria dip). They were straight fire...crunchy exterior, gooey cheesy interior, spicy kick, and that dipping sauce took them over the top. Pro tip: Pour the remaining au jus from the Hot Pocketz into your Texasy Tonk broth at the end, it takes the flavor to another level! Cold beer + sake chaser rounded it out perfectly. Pro tip for first-timers: If you're new here, stick to the OG classics on the menu (like the straight Tonkotsu or Miso) -- they're rock solid. Once you're hooked, branch out to the fun Texas twists. Fast counter service, generous portions, and solid value (especially with the Summer Combo). Whether you're coming from Austin or just passing through Round Rock, this spot is worth the stop.

Sushi was incredibly fresh, the service was engaging , fast and friendly... it's a smaller restaurant but the atmosphere was perfect! I did not realize it until I saw a lower amount than I was expecting. Overall, very good dining experience. Will definitely return to try more of their menu items.

We came during happy hour and sadly the food was beyond sub par. Combo fried rice The peas in the rice were still frozen and unthawed. Our 16 month old daughter couldn't even chew them. The chicken and beef tasted old and sour. Crispy cold rice appetizer - rice was stale. This place appears to be on its last leg. I wouldn't pay happy hour prices for food that doesn't make my mouth or stomach feel nasty.

So anytime we eat sushi we pick somewhere else: but this time I said it's so close to the house, screw it let's give it a try. So glad we did!!! When we first walked in we honestly almost left it was 11:30 and we were literally the only table there. The table at the entry was covered in clutter the bar was covered in clutter and being the only ones there we were quite concerned. But I'm glad we stuck it out. We did the all you can eat, they have a toll separate menu for it. I think we tried everything on it! Everything we had, minus the ice cream, was incredible! Our server was fantastic too, she was friendly and always had a smile. It's no Uchi but for a local spot and for the price, we will be back for lunch for sure!
