We use Performance Ford for servicing our Ford F150. We moved to Omaha recently and needed to find a Ford dealership and Performance Ford was recommended to us. Overall I love that they have a nice waiting area with a gourmet coffee machine and free water. The service people are always friendly as well. My one issue is that we have always had to wait longer than an hour and a half to two hours for the oil to be changed. This is totally fine because of the amenities but is a little long compared to other places we have had our vehicle serviced. I think it is probably a great thing for the dealership though because it means that they have a lot of business which gives us confidence in taking our vehicle there. We will continue to use Performance Ford for our service needs and when we are in the market for a new truck! read more

Long story but I bought a car there in 2012. Recently decided to trade in and buy new one. Found out that my car was totalled out before I bought it. Not a salvaged title, but still had structural damage and they fixed it instead of totallying it out. Structural damage is a BIG deal and even when fixed, it can cause issues with frame and how the tread on tires wears. It can put a new driver in danger. Back in 2012, Carfax was not a popular tool and I was a naive female of course. Had I known abou this, I would NEVER have paid the sticker price. (would never do that now either way). That would have been a major deal and given me way more ability to get a better deal. But that's on me. I recently found this all out when I went to trade it in to a few other dealerships, they basically told me my car was worthless because of that accident. Now I have to sell it outright, which is a pain. I can take partial blame for not asking about the history. However, when I called them the manager OF COURSE down played the situation. Saying structural damage isn't a big deal. He said they would maybe give me $1500 for it which is fair for trade in if I bought new car from them. I basically said that isn't good enough. I want a good deal on a used SUV. The manager said "WE WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU". I entertained the idea. He had a sales rep call me and they said that they could not go down on the price of a used vehicle at all. Since the internet and autotrader now, they don't do that anymore (YEAH RIGHT). How exactly is that rectifying the situation? Or "taking care of me?" He said they would MAYBE go down $500 and he would get back to me. He never did. I wouldn't have taken that anyways. There are plenty of other dealerships who would have treated me better given how they took advantage of me and this is NOT one of them. Looking back on the paperwork, they did not go down on the price AND talked me into Gap insurance AND extended warranty. (That's on me but lesson learned. - you don't need it) read more

I could not have had a better experience at this car dealership. I am new to the area, and my car was totaled last week (not my fault, and I LOVED my car). I have always driven Fords and back home in Washington me and my family have bought all of our cars from the same person my whole life. So finding a new salesperson to work with was a little nerve-wracking to say the least, it can be hard to build trust on big purchases like that. I called the dealership and explained to the receptionist that I wanted to talk with someone who had been there a long time and who they would trust to buy a car from, and said right away "That's Jan, I'll transfer you right over." Amazing doesn't begin to describe Jan. Not only is her knowledge of the Ford brand top notch, her customer service is a 20 out of 10. I had been through a rough week, my car being totaled out in a state where I don't know very many people, being injured in the accident, and really going though all the stress that comes from being in a bad accident all alone. Jan not only helped me find the perfect replacement car, but she made me feel cared about, and made me feel so comfortable, I instantly knew I could trust her, and honestly I think she was able to make a laugh and smile for the first time since the accident. I'm suffering from a pretty bad concussion, so my brain function is nothing short of frustrating right now, Jan wrote everything down for me that was discussed and she could tell was confusing me a little. She spoke with the finance people before hand and explained my situation so they could explain everything to me in a way I could understand and helped with any questions they had. She had the detail manager come in and explain how to clean the seats (I haven't had fabric seats in a long time), she had the shop manager come in and explain the options I wanted to add to my car. I spoke with a man out by my car who worked in the shop (Larry) and he was also very helpful, so nice, and informative as well. Everyone I worked with there made purchasing the car such an amazingly positive experience. I don't know if a yelp review can accurately describe the positive experience I had at this dealership, and with Jan, Rolland, Scott, the other gentleman they helped me with all of my paperwork (so sorry I completely forgot your name, but you were so wonderful to work with!), and Larry. In a new state where I feel like just a person among thousands, Jan made me feel special and cared for, she went above and beyond just selling me a car, she made sure I was taken care of. I would recommend this dealership and Jan a million times over. Bought a certified pre-owned 2012 Ford Focus in May of 2015 that has been nothing but a headache! We purchased this vehicle to have dependable transportation and more than four times in the last year it has needed a tow into the shop and at least two jump starts. It has ripped through two batteries and still has a problem. If it isn't driven for three days it won't start. Does that sound dependable to you? Even when getting this issue serviced I can't help but feel like my concerns aren't being addressed. Unfortunately the lemon law doesn't quite apply which is a real bummer because this car is no certainly no peach. read more

I was within three hours of my final destination after driving across the country when I decided to get my car washed in Omaha. The car wash was right across the street from Performance Ford. After got my car washed, it sounded like something was dragging from the under carriage. I got out and the plastic shield from under the car was dragging! I buzzed across the street to Performance Ford and was helped by Paul Williams. My vehicle is a Cadillac so a GM product. Paul got my car right in and upon inspection there was only one pin still affixed to the shield! They did not have any of the pins but took the shield off and tucked it away in my truck and away I went. They did not charge me for their help! Who does that these days? If I lived in Omaha I would take our Ford vehicle there! read more

Next day I received a text from the New Car Manager (Nathan Bloodworth) to tell me it was still in the shop and "We should have an answer tomorrow. We will let you know." Here is a broad list: *Terrible customer service *Rep Sandy is consistently without professionalism and kindness. Not just us; I've witnessed her do it to many others. *They LOST our vans TWICE. How does this even happen? *They lost our keys *On two occasions, they say they completed work, but it doesn't show up as completed in their system *Scheduled appointments were not fulfilled by them *They tried to send us away with a partially completed recall TWICE on SEATBELTS This isn't a couple of bad visits. This was my second (and last) purchase here. My first purchase went fine, but apparently, they don't give a crap about wanting return business. The whole process was more painful than needed to be. Yesterday I spent 4 hours at Baxter Ford South and it was the biggest WASTE of my time. My goal was to trade in my current car, a 2015 Ford Fusion, for an older car so that my payments would be lower. FYI I had purchased my current car from this dealership back in February so only 6 months ago. I went to Tim Toliver, the same salesman who I had worked with back in Feb., and informed him that I wanted to look at cars in the $6000 to $7000 price range so naturally he shows me a car marked at $9000. After test driving this car Tim and his manager informed me that I actually could not get that car and steered me towards an even more expensive car!! I wonder, could this sales tactic be how I ended up with the $15,000 Fusion back in February? Very likely seeing as I originally contacted the dealership in February inquiring about a $6000 car. Hindsight is 20/20, and the game continued from here. After watching Tim write down a bunch of numbers on a piece of paper and hearing his manager tell me he would "get more aggressive" with getting me a good deal I was ready to go home. I was getting absolutely nowhere with these guys! I went to take a lunch break. Tim followed me out to my car and told me to call my bank to see what they could get as an interest rate for me. I do this, tell Tim what they will give me, and he says he can match it. When I get back to the dealership Tim was already onto the next customer trying to get him into a new Mustang. When he came back over to deal with me he informs me that they cannot match the interest rate and I should take some paperwork to the bank. Why did I even come back?? The back and forth numbers game continued for another hour and then I was done for the day. I left and by the time I had gotten home Tim was calling to say that he would go over his boss's head and match my interest rate. Now why didn't we just do this in the first place? Why did this have to be an exhausting all day event? Mind you, after going through all this they had only gotten my payments down about $60 per month so I will not be back to make any deals with them unless they stop worrying about their numbers and start taking my needs into consideration. read more

After an initial bump (I don't like a "hard sell" meaning lots of contact, telephone calls, etc.), the experience was great! They didn't have the car I wanted on the lot, but found it for me. No trade -in, but they were willing to deal and I put my negotiation skills to the test! First time buying a new car for me (no husband around to tell me what I can and can 't have) and it was two days before my birthday! I was concerned about the loan, and Sam called while I was talking with Dave about after-market items. When I walked in her office, she told me I had been approved! What a relief. Signed the papers and waited for the delivery of my car. Picked it up a week later and been loving it! Jan, Dave, Sam, and Craig were great! I have had the Service Dept do some mechanical work on my Taurus and was always treated with respect. Good bunch of guys and gals! read more

POOR SERVICE AND OVERCHARGED. We dropped of a service van for repair 6/16/14. we when early to put the keys in the overnight drop box and guess what ??/ No envelopes and pen doesn't work ! What else you ask ? There were 2 employees standing right there and didn't do squat but stand there and looking dumbfounded. Not enough coffee that morning apparently. Get the van and bill back and i see they replaced wipers which is great but changed for 4 wipers 2 fronts and 2 rears.. guess what ?? This service vehicle has no rear windows hence not wipers needed. The service manager did call and tell us what else was wrong with the unit but hey when you call me sound like you know what your talking about and don't sound like I'm wasting your time when your the one that called me. Maybe he was having a bad day .. oh well dude ! buck up and at least act like you like your customers. read more

I purchased a service contract from Baxter Ford on West Dodge. I was recently in the area of Baxter South and needed an oil change. They said they honor the service coupons form Baxter West. The employees were nice. On my way home I noticed on the window reminder "ECO oil" called to asked what that meant,as I never saw that when getting service from Baxter West, they told me that with a contract you get RECYLED oil,if you pay which I did when purchasing a contract,you get new Ford oil?! Called Baxter West and asked them if something had changed and they said they only use NEW Ford oil. Same name,different values. I would not have been so unhappy if this was stated up front. I would have left and headed West. I will never darken the doors of this dealership again. Completely dissatisfied. read more

These guys are near where I live so I go there for service on my van when I need it. One time I went in to get a break light replaced, they took a bulb out of a package, took the break light apart replaced it and put it back together on the spot. They then said "get on outa here". I said you mean there is not charge? They said "nope this ones on us". That was impressive customer service and I have been happy to give them my business ever since! read more

We were in the market for a GREAT used car, and our sales guy Alex Cudney steered us to the perfect one right off the bat!! Alex is super easy going and knows his stuff. He made an over the top effort to help us get the right price and financing. They have a great program where the salesman does both the "selling" and the "finance" paperwork. We had just been passed on a car we had looked at through another dealer after driving to Omaha from Lincoln. My husband called ahead and asked for very specific information about cars. We didn't want to do a lot of messing not around because we had our 3 year old and 7 month old with us. He was upfront about what we wanted and what we were looking to spend. When we got to the dealership, a car that was $14,000 over our budget was thrust upon us for a test drive. We insisted that we did not want this and that's why we were looking at used. The salesman insisted he must have just misunderstood even though my husband had reiterated the situation multiple times. The salesman then tried to offer us a lower model and began to look at the financing. We were preapproved through USAA and knew what we wanted to work with. He kept changing the terms of the agreement and adding in a few lectures here and there. I asked why we were not being shown the types of car we had asked for. After several evasions, he finally admitted they didn't have what we were looking for. He offered us a deal with no money down and certain payments. When he came back, he said, "Okay, with $3000 down..." When asked why the money down, he said that is what he thought we had agreed on. He kept changing the deal and insisting that it must have been a misunderstanding. After sitting in a stifling kids' room and then trying to keep them entertained at the desk, I told them we had had enough and were leaving. I did not want to be bullied into buying something we did not want or spending more than we could afford. Honesty would have earned them lifelong customers. Today, we did a deal with Dillon's North in Lincoln mostly over the phone. We spent maybe a hour total at the dealership and left with exactly what we wanted. read more

I closed a deal on February 24, 2107 for a pickup that was not on the lot. I placed a down payment with one of my credit cards that day. When they went to secure pickup on following Monday, it was not available and the deal fell through, but the charge on my credit card was still there. It is March 29, 2017 and they have yet to have reversed the charges to my credit card. This organization is completely untrustworthy. read more

First they have a large inventory and I found the precise truck I was after. That's good. The whole process took about 6 hours..ugh. They tried to slide a high price at me only to later come down to what I thought was a good price, but in the end they did. I told them I wanted to write a check. After everything was signed they said, whoops they had to finance it to get some of the rebates ??? Now I have to get the paperwork from the financing company, get a pay off amount. And in the end, I will still pay one months worth of interest. Then the finance company will have the title. Once that's all cleared I have to go to my insurance company and make sure they have it as paid off so any claims come to me only. What a hassle. When the paperwork was getting done my name was spelld wrong. Ronald instead of Ron. The lady said she had to write it up that way and could not change it because my credit report read that way. I just pulled all three reports on my credit and she is wrong. Everytime I call with a question is takes hours and hours to get a return call. Good cars, poor business processes. read more

We recently purchased which so far has turned out a very good new car...a 2014 Ford Fusion. The only regret I have is my choice in the dealership from which I purchased it. Not only was it not a stellar experience but the last interaction I had with one of sales managers left such a bad bad taste in my mouth that I feel obligated to help others avoid the same situation. This transaction was a comedy of errors and misperceptions. What is not a misperception and what led me to decide to not only never return to Performance Ford but to post this review and tell my friends and family about this experience was what I was told when I called to arrange to return this car for a refund. While they agreed to take the car back, let me paraphrase one of Performance Ford's last comments to me...."We have bent over backwards for you on this." Really? Just exactly how did they bend over backwards? Perhaps it was one of the following... 1. Constant upselling after I was very clear about my price 2. Inexperienced salesman put in front of a customer before he was ready...not his fault...that's the lack of leadership 3. Lack of communication about delays 4. Tried to deliver the wrong car 5. Inconsistent pricing And now the rest of story... On a Saturday, my wife and I stopped by Performance Ford in Omaha to see if they could beat or meet a deal that we were to close the next day at CARMAX. I gave a brand new salesman a copy of the car's features and price and he took it to his sales manager. We test drove a car and told the salesman we had never owned a hybrid. We asked several questions about hybrid operations that he could not answer. That's ok, he was new. Over the next 45 minutes we got to play the "upsell" game. The salesman went back and forth to his manager three times. They had to keep making copies of the info I gave them. Finally the sales manager brought over listings for cars that did not meet my request in terms of features or price. Finally we settled on a car which was supposedly located at another dealership in Omaha. We were it put a deposit down and pick up the car two days later. We were told that we would see a business rep in 5-10 minutes. Forty-five minutes later we left without ever seeing anyone. Yes I understand they were busy, but they should gave given us accurate waiting time estimates. Monday morning I returned the sales manager's calls that he placed after we left two days before. He assured me the car would be ready for pick up and paperwork would be done that evening at a specific time. We would be in and out very quickly. He also quoted me a price higher than what he originally quoted. That evening we went to the dealership for our appointment and the car was not there. Although they had all day to go a few miles to get the car, the salesman had not returned with it from the other dealership. An hour later, he showed up with a new Fusion. After checking the VIN I found it was not the right car. After yet another delay as we were told that the car on which we had just put a deposit down was actually in Kansas City. So now another trip back to the dealership...more wasted time. I will admit...I was noticeably not happy. Of note they did give us a loaner to drive. Thursday evening. We returned to the dealership. Car was ready. Price changed again back to original quote. In and out in less than 30 minutes with a new car. Great job by business office and after market sales. Saturday morning. I discovered that the hybrid Fusion does not include a spare tire. I called the dealer and was told the hybrid batteries took up the space needed for a spare tire. That is not true. Not only is there space for a donut spare in the trunk but the hardware to secure the spare was included. In fact, I am already working to procure a spare and jack from another source. I assume responsibility for not knowing about the lack of a spare; however, one would think that since the dealership knew I had never owned a hybrid before that perhaps I might be interested in that fact. Had I known I would have discussed this before purchase. So again, did they "bend over backwards for us?" Hardly. Will we ever return to Performance Ford? Never. Will we let people know what we experienced? Absolutely. In the end we got what appears will be a good car at a good price. The experience was not good but there are other Ford dealers in the area. We will take our business to one of them in the future. read more

I purchased a used car from Baxter Ford South. After purchasing the vehicle we found out the vehicle only had one key and no mats. The salesman didn't seem to care at all after we found this out as we were leaving. The next day I talked to Luke about only getting one key and no mats. He said he would be sure to call the old owner. I never heard back from Luke. Later on I found out the one key we were given was not cut. So, if the key fob stopped working the only key Baxter South gave us would not unlock our car. After talking to the locksmith who cut the key and made me a new fob, he told me he had never heard of a dealership giving only one key that was uncut. He was very disappointed that Baxter South would do that to a customer. I have emailed and texted my salesperson Sheldon and never heard back. I had questions about when the title would be in and if they got a hold of the old owner of the car. He has never responded. I have also emailed Andy Moore the Sales Manager and never heard back as well. I can honestly say I am very disappointed in Baxter Ford South. I will be telling family, friends and co-workers to be sure not to purchase a vehicle at Baxter South and share my experience. I have given them several chances to make this right and they don't seem to care. The least they could do is respond to my emails and phone calls. read more

Just purchased my 2012 Ford Edge I was leasing through Performance Ford. I was working with one sales associate and found out he had left the company. Immediately Roland Lipins stepped in and continued to help through the purchasing process along with Chirs Lidgett. Roland answered all my questions along with the warranty questions I had. This is my second vehicle I have purchased through this company and I will continue to buy from them. I have never had a problem with their customer service or cars. I have bought several vehicles here and just purchased a brand new one in March of this year . I have always dealt with the same salesman and like him a lot. In fact I referred two people in one month who bought brand new vehicles. The Finance department is a DIFFERENT story! I cancelled my extended warranty in May 23 and as of today July 16 it still hasn't been cancelled . I was told the day I cancelled it would take around 3-5 days for this. Today I was told six weeks ! I will never buy another vehicle here again nor refer anyone EVER! read more

Talked to a nice salesman did the test drive loved the truck told me the price was 38000 I said ok I have to talk to the wife will be back in the morning. I work overnight and was so excited to get my new truck didn't sleep much. So get to the dealer and they tell me one of the sales people put the wrong price and that it was 48000 I was pissed I have been in sales all my life if you make the mistake you eat it, your word is everything in my book. I know 10000 is a lot so I was willing to work with them but they were not willing to fix their mistake. Took my truck in for a check engine light and issues with the brakes. $240, yes $240, for diagnosis!! That wasn't the worst part. I was quoted $1600 for new brakes pads & 4 rotors and $650 for a new knock sensor. I don't know if its because I work for a railroad company or if it is just shady business practices but these prices are way off the mark. I took my truck to another reputable company, in Omaha, that told me that I did NOT need 4 new rotors, just 2 in the rear. $800 for brakes all around, including 2 rotors, and less than $500 for a new sensor. Not only that but the Performance Ford Service Department technician failed to notice that all 4 shocks were completely blown. If they had inspected the brakes, like I was told they did, this would've been noticed immediately, due to oil all over them. Sad to say this isn't the first time that their service department has failed to correctly diagnose a problem. The last time I had it in, for a exhaust gas temp and ambient air temp sensors, they failed to order the correct parts. I was out of my truck 3 days due to their mistake. While they were "fixing" the 2 sensors I told the service writer of a noise when the turbo was spooling up. When I picked up my truck I asked the service writer about the noise, he told me that the technician found nothing out of the normal. 2 days later when power was reduced and check engine light was on again, my truck was back in the Performance Ford shop. Cause a cracked intercooler tube. In order to remedy this problem, which they created, a new tube was stripped from a truck for sale on the lot. If you want quality service, honest quotes and pricing, and a knowledgable service staff I would highly recommend a going to a different Ford dealership. read more

Not impressed with Performance Ford. I Made an appointment with a salesman that assured me that I would only be working with him. Came in for my appointment only to be told that he wasn't there and that he arranged to have me work with another salesman. Stuff happens I get it, but I had just emailed him that day and he responded so why not tell me that you aren't going to be there...? So I wait around for this other salesman for about 20 minutes. He never shows up so the receptionist has to (literally) grab someone else to help us out. He seems very scattered I tell him which car I would like to test drive and he goes to get the keys. I wait around some more and then a different salesman comes back with no keys and says that he'll be helping me now. So I tell him which car I would like to test drive and he tells me it's been sold. I waited around for 30 minutes for that? Disappointing customer service, my first salesmen knew that was the car I was interested in why not let me know it's been sold when were emailing back and forth about it that same day? If you wanna get passed around to different sales people (even if you made an appointment) this is the place for you but I won't be coming back. read more

We purchased our Ford Explorer from Rusty Eck Ford in January 2009. At the time of purchase we were told that our new vehicle qualified for their "tires for life" program. We were assured at that time that in order to get the free tires for life we just needed to have all of the recommended service as described by Ford in the Maintenence Schedule. Since the time of purchase we have maintained the vehicle in accordance to the Maintenence Schedule. I went into Rusty Eck Ford (now I believe they are called Performance Ford Omaha) today because I had a nail in one of my tires. I asked their service technician if he just reccomend that I should replace the tires as I have put over 43000 miles on the set of four tires. He told me that the tires the vehicle came with typically only get 35000 miles on so I did pretty well. He did at that time take the measurements on all four tires and said that two of the tires "were in the red" and the other two tires "were borderline red" and that he would replace them. I then was referred to their service advisor, who upon finding out that I had "tires for life" all of a sudden said I didn't necessarily need new tires and that "tires for life" needs to be OK'd by his manager who was out for lunch. When I came back I was then informed that I had not met the "tires for life" program because I did not have the tires "aligned" every 15000 miles. I looked at the Scheduled Maintence guide that came with the vehicle from Ford and no where in it did it say anything about the alignment. I feel I have been misguided in the purchase of my vehicle. On of my reason for pruchasing the vehicle from Rusty Eck was because the the "tires for life" program that they sold me on upon purchase of my vehicle. Now I am at the point where I need new tires and they won't take care of their end of the bargain. I have taken great care of my vehicle and have not been hard on it as I made it over 43000 miles when the tires as only supposed to last 35000 miles. read more

I can't tell you how crappy this place is. I figure if you spend 27K on a car their they would take better care of you. Flat out they don't, I have also tried contacting them several times for the reason that they ran my credit so many times that it dropped 13 points and banks were sending denial papers saying they can't do anything for the reason of my credit being ran so many times. Carrie S. thanks for the run around) saying that they will figure it out and get back to me which never happened I had to drive their so I could finally talk to someone (apparently answering machine don't work) then I finally got some answers, they told me that I should have the car tittle before the 30 days allowed. 47 days later I got the tittle (about time) in the mean while I have got pulled over twice for expired dealer tags with some clients in my car (embarrassing) and another time with my new born son. I didn't even have a bank loan for the car for about 45 days, come to find out my 1st payment was a couple days later, (thanks New Performance ford) Thank lord I wasn't late. I then called and said you guys have to make it right make me feel like you guys are fixing this problem. They returned with we can get you a full tank of gas. Thanks you for getting pulled over because of late tags, car payment almost late, credit score dropping (because it's easy to get credit up now a days) oh and the free gas hope $50 was worth this review.
