When we returned for the second time, we learned that Juan was actually supposed to provide us with an entire packet of documents and instructions necessary to complete the sale. Because we had not been given the correct information the first time, we were denied the ability to sell the vehicle yet again. Not only did this waste a significant amount of our time, but the delay also caused our original vehicle appraisal/offer to expire. That led to a third trip to this location, where we then had to spend another two hours having the vehicle reappraised and going through the entire selling process all over again--all because the process was mishandled from the beginning. The lack of communication, attention to detail, and accountability at this location was incredibly frustrating. You would expect significantly more competence from someone in a management position, but unfortunately that was not our experience. I would strongly recommend avoiding this particular CarMax if possible. Based on our experience, I would choose virtually any other CarMax location over this one.
