    Update (March 19, 2026): As of March 19, 2026 (73 days after payment cleared), we have not received the vehicle title, registration, or license plates. The temporary registration expires April 4, 2026. We have added supporting photos, including a retail installment contract generated after a full cash purchase, written confirmation that credit was run as "company policy," multiple credit inquiries later removed, and documents that appear to lack dealer signatures, including a REG 262 form without a dealer signature. Update (March 12, 2026): As of March 12, 2026, it had been 65 days since payment cleared, and we had still not received title or registration. Our credit reports showed 14 inquiries related to this transaction; six were removed after dispute. We were not informed that a credit application would be submitted and were not provided any credit authorization documents. We continue to request written clarification. Update (February 19, 2026): The dealership publicly stated that they do not convert cash purchases into financed deals without authorization. However, in a February 9 email, the General Sales Manager stated that a credit application was run and a backup finance contract was prepared as company policy in case the check did not clear. A finance company later confirmed that an application had been submitted, although no account was opened. These statements appear inconsistent, and we have requested written clarification. Note: The dealership appears on the Better Business Bureau website under the name "Capital Nissan," which may differ from "Capitol Nissan San Jose." Original Experience (Jan 4, 2026): We completed a full cash purchase of a 2021 BMW for $40,500.80 by check and declined financing multiple times. The process was rushed after closing, and documents were not provided at signing. The next day, after the check was cashed, we received documents showing a financed transaction with a higher total price and a lien. Most documents lacked dealer signatures. A finance company later confirmed that a credit application had been submitted despite financing being declined. We continue to request clarification regarding the credit inquiries and the status of the title transfer.

    Capitol Nissan bought my car from me Jan 22 2026 , did not pay it off and still has not to this day 2-3-26 , Yet there selling my Vehical on there website and it's on there lot . I've tried contacting the sales person who was supposed to handle this , he hasn't .Ive called the dealership several times nothings been done , If anyone from Capitol Nissan would like to contact me Carlos or Eric in sales has my number .

    Worst vehicle purchase experience ever. Where do I start... 1. Sold me a lemon. See photos 2. Was forced to purchase their so called mandatory add ons Edge guard and Security GPS non sense. I declined obviously. 3. Check engine light comes on literally the same day I drove it off the lot. 4. Came back to the dealership to get it "fixed" but upon driving back home it comes on again. 5. Rude employees, I was hung up on twice, and ignored while I was calling them. Transparency was non existent. In conclusion, I'll post the photo of the actual vehicle, please avoid or make sure everything gets fixed before you leave the lot. I had enough and decided to return it. On a positive note, the sales manager was willing to accommodate what was necessary to complete the return process as smooth as possible with no problem. So thank you.

He also scheduled all the test drives, negotiated the prices, and pointed us to a specific person at the dealership, a complete VIP experience. He did the same for our friends just this week, they bought a great car in a great condition, he negotiated the price down and steered them away from less desirable options. My friend was nervous (just like I was before ) because the process of buying a car is stressful. But after they got into the dealership and the car was waiting for them, they test drove and bought the car. My friend said: who would have thought that I can enjoy buying a car! He got the keys for me and let me take it for a test drive. Upon return I decided to purchase the car. I had been looking EVERYWHERE for a affordable Honda Civic in good condition. We negotiated and agreed on a price and made the deal. I had a unique situation; I live in Stockton and had no way to get the car home that day. He allowed me to keep it on the lot until the next morning. Shane and his team are not stereotypical sleaze bag used car salesmen. Customer service and a welcoming atmosphere are a priority at The Car Store San Jose. They've been in business since '77 for a reason. But, in a market where cars are in high demand, supply is drastically low, and are selling for $10k+ over MSRP... thats as good as it gets. We were referred to Arkady through a friend. Hubby has a long history in retail sales, so the car buying experience has always been... eventful, as everyone knows. But now with 2 toddlers in tow, we weren't able to dedicate the months-long research, wheeling and dealing, and multiple dealership trips all over the Bay Area to get what we wanted. So we decided to give Arkady a try. We told Arkady what we wanted. SPECIFICALLY what we wanted. Down to the T. A brand new Platinum Highlander Hybrid in Pearly White. A special order color, in a very sought after trim level and combination. Arkady looked and found us a few, but we weren't ready yet. So we waited. And the aftermath of COVID was in full affect. The dreaded chip shortage. Dealer lots were empty, cars were being bought up like no other, and the market is now flooded with buyers willing to pay top dollar from a supply pool that would disappear with a sneeze. Unfortunately for us, we just couldn't afford to battle with ballers, so we waited, hoping Arkady could find us a deal. Luckily, Arkady was able to place us an order with the Toyota Factory for our specific car, in our specific trim. We waited a few weeks, putting our trust in Arkady, and we finally got the call. The vehicle had landed and was ready for us. Everything we wanted, as we had requested. Even in this market, he was able to get us below the MSRP, which is absolutely mind blowing. He promised, and delivered in spades. His cost of service is worth its weight in gold. The process was painless. He was prompt with his communication and was always straight forward. On delivery day, we met at his office and spent no more than 15 minutes doing paperwork.... to buy a car... that was tailor made to our specification.... at a deal we were more than happy with... We cannot emphasize at how valuable his services were to us, and our family thanks him greatly. Remember the kids? They didn't even have time to even THINK about throwing a tantrum before they were buckled up in the new car and we were on our way. Arkady runs a no-joke, no-frills, get-it-done business.     Scammed by DGDG…read more Last year, I sold my fully PPF-wrapped Tesla Model Y to DGDG. During the evaluation, they told me they had to deduct $1,000 from the offer because the car was wrapped and they needed to remove the wrap before reselling it. I accepted the reduced offer based on that explanation. Months later, I was contacted by the person who bought my old Tesla. He found me on LinkedIn to ask some questions about the car. To my surprise, he told me the car was sold to him with the full PPF wrap still on it. I immediately called DGDG to understand what happened. Their response was, "You agreed to the final selling price, so there's nothing we can do now." I spent over 90 minutes trying to reach a manager. Everyone I spoke with said, "I'm not responsible; I'll connect you to the manager," and then the line got disconnected. When I tried to call back, I received no response. When I finally got connected with a manager, she said, "The buyer wanted to have the PPF, so we didn't unwrap it." And while I was still talking to her, the phone got disconnected again. I called back, but no one answered. This was a clear case of deception. They reduced the price claiming they had to remove the wrap, then sold the car as-is with the wrap still on, profiting from my loss. Avoid doing business with this DGDG. If they ask to reduce your car's value for any reason, demand clear documentation that explains the breakdown of the final offer and the reasons behind any deductions. Do not rely on verbal explanations. I regret trusting them.
