It seems like there are a few negative reviews here but having a fancy dress altered is not like a one-hour photo and it is a skilled trade. As far as kindness goes, my father went to a nursing home for hospice care during covid. His shirts were getting stolen/going missing. She helped me and sewed some ID tags into the collar and did not charge me for this work.

I now have to spend additional time and money getting my wedding dress professionally cleaned myself, and no discount or effort was made to make the situation right. Communication throughout the entire process was also unclear. I was never given a firm completion date, which created unnecessary stress during an already stressful time leading up to a wedding. Wedding dress alterations are expensive, and for the amount I paid, I expected much more care, accountability, and communication. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed with the overall experience. While she was kind personally, I would not return and would not recommend her services.

Without my normal due diligence of research, I stopped in. My elderly uncle wanted his favorite two church suits cleaned and I was new in town which is why the referral. There were red flags empty store/lot no price list no quotes in writing. But since I was there, I asked for a list and then a quote. I was quoted $33-34. High, but ok. My uncle is now happy and willing to pay. I'm notified the suits are ready. I pick up my uncle because he wanted to get out plus pay for his suits. I convinced him to wait in the car. I go inside, give my ticket and my total was more than double - $76.06!!!! $76.06 for 2 suits. It took the power of God to keep me from flipping things over and storming out leaving everything. But my uncle was waiting for his favorite suits. Begrudgingly I paid but THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! The suits were not in the best condition for the cost and a pair of the slacks are not even his - so they lost a pair of his slacks! PLEASE DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS PLACE. IF YOU'VE HAD NO ISSUES, BLESS YOU, Again, both ladies were nice but if you have money to throw away....

Regular price to clean my business suit was $18, but luckily I had a $5 off coupon. I also think that the front end of the business looked a little old and sloppy. If I am paying that much money for cleaning, I want to come into a place that looks nice. Because it's close to where I live right now, and not totally outrageously priced, I will probably be back, but I wish that they had a frequent customer discount plan or something to take the sting out of the prices. I was called down to try on the suit, they had me try on someone else's tux and then told that they didn't have my info and had to re-measure me. I was late returning the suit as they were closed by the time I tried to return the next day; I will own that one. When I asked to wave late fee, due to the difficulty of needing to come down three separate times for measurement, they would not. Not once was accountability for the lack of organization taken, but rather displacement of fault; I will never go back there nor would I recommend this particular location to anyone.
