I am from out of town and I was working in the area. Found this place on yelp, and decided to try it. It did not disappoint. I got shrimp and fish, and a gumbo as takeouy. The price is reasonable and the favor is very good. The gumbo is chucky. Typically gumbo cooked longer. I don't mind tho, the favor is great with the right amount of hotness. I have ordered from here several times and the food is always good. There prices are a little higher than other EBT seafood places but the food is always well seasoned. They made a couple mistakes on an order that I called in but nothing major. Thery are human and mistakes happen. Today I ordered steamed Salmon with corn and potato and when I got home I took one bite and realized the salmon was not cooked. The exterior was cooked but it was raw on the inside. Very dissapointed, this never happened before. I will return but I dont think I will get steamed salmon again. I think they may be rushing orders because they get really busy espeially on the weekend. No excuse for raw food. read more

These two stars aren't judgement of the food choices they have as a whole its judgement of the catfish po'boy. It's very mediocre and doesn't pack a lot of flavor. I ended up just eating the catfish nuggets alone, the sandwich wasn't really edible. Fries had way too much Cajun seasoning on them. The first time I went here I ordered the shrimp and broccoli steamed with corn and a baked potato and it was delicious. The last time I went I ordered the jumbo shrimp and broccoli which was not so good. The shrimp had a weird taste and after taste. I'm really big on restaurants or anywhere that sells cooked food inspection scores. I try only eating at 95% and up places but some times a hole in the wall such as this gets by. On my last visit I looked all over for there inspection score most all restaurants are required to keep it in the most visible location possible. When I asked they told me they were not a restaurant they were a food retailer meaning they were not required to have that common inspection. They had others regarding food temperatures and conditions, but didn't have like a 10 point system of sanitation to be operational. I did not enjoy or finish eating the food and will not be back. read more

The place is a bit shabby but the employees are extremely friendly and the food is really good...it's mostly takeout as there are only 3 tables in the entire restaurant. U can get your seafood steamed, grilled, or fried. U can take it home live or just raw to cook yourself....they have a variety of seafood including scallops, shrimp, clams, oysters, crawfish, lobster tails (that can be fried too), and mussels. and of course a plethora of fish. They even have crab legs and Turkey necks if that tickles your fancy. They also Have seasonings for sale...mostly old bay. I don't come here often but when I do, I always enjoy it. I love love LOVE this place! I drive 45 minutes just to get here because it's worth it. An older couple Asian couple owns it and they're extremely friendly. I often see difficult customers come here and give them a hard time but they always remain professional and pleasant. It's always clean. It's more of a store with about 3 tables so you can eat there but it's better to take your food to go if you get it cooked there. The food never disappoints me! This is my first visit, I went against my gut instinct because of the reviews. Do not trust the reviews for this place. Fried oysters were extra salty, crab legs tasted awful, I guess not fresh. The potatoes tasted unlike potatoes, got a Heavy persavative taste from the butter which my potatoes were swin. Needless to say, I will not return. New seafood store pops up, people swamp to it, they charge large price and eventually customers stop coming, they pick up and move to another location. read more

This place is phenomenal! My family and I found this place driving home 3 years ago and have been coming back ever since. We stay in Gwinnett county so its a little drive for us but we make the drive every other weekend for our family seafood night with a smile on our faces.The staff there is top notch they are polite and have the fastest service I've ever had at a seafood restaurant and the food comes out hot and fresh every time. They are hands down the best seafood restaurant in Georgia, I guarantee it. But the best thing about this place is there ability to cater to large orders, this past weekend we had a large family reunion and our number one must have was SEAFOOD so I called them a few days in advance about the large quantities I needed for the event and they handled it with no problems. On the day of the reunion, I came by to pick up the food and to my surprise everything was hot and fresh and it was nicely coordinated with my pick up time so everything was hot and delicious to the last bite. I would have given this place 4 stars, but the service I received yesterday was horrible. Let me start off by saying I went to this place for the first time on Saturday and had the shrimp and crab legs-I thought they were great! I even recommended the place to my sister and would have made even more recommendations. As good as the food was, I decided to go back the next day and try something from the fried side of the menu. I ordered the catfish, shrimp and a crab cake on the side. On Saturday, my experience was pleasant with the cashier who was a young girl. She was very friendly and handed me a number for my order, as it was very busy. On Sunday, there was a young man working and right before I stepped up to place my order, I heard him being rude to the customer in front of me. Unfortunately, he was just as rude to me. When I asked him what my number was, he told me he would call me when it was ready. The restaurant was just as crowded as it was the day before so I was surprised they weren't giving out numbers again. But I went ahead and sat in my car giving them about 20 minutes to prepare my order. I go back in and ask if my order was ready and the boy said "I TOLD YOU I'D CALL YOU WHEN IT WAS READY." My pleasant experience the day before immediately turned sour as I had to remind the boy that I was the customer and that he was being extremely rude to me and his other customers. He offered no apologies and continued to be nasty. When the food came out, he screamed the order of fish, shrimp, and a crab cake and asked who's order it was-IT WAS MINE! Had he given out numbers as the young lady did the day before, he would have known it was mine. I took my food angrily as they don't offer refunds-if they had I would have definitely asked for my money back. I hate to pay for bad service. The food was good and I'm really disappointed that I will not be returning here after the poor service I received. read more

A friend suggested this place so my husband and i decided to check it out. We normallly go to Kings so we were skeptical however we wanted to try something close to home. What a disappointment for the amount of money spent! We ordered crablegs steamed spicy which weren't bad but we also ordered a lb of scallops and whiting fried spicy. The scallops and whiting had no flavor whatsoever ! The breading came off of most of the scallops. Complete dissapointment! We will not be returning any time soon! Also no return or refund policies. Make sure your food is to your liking before leaving. Most places with no return or refund policies are skeptical. read more
