Great food, excellent customer service and a good environment. Perfect place for college students to come eat and for families who are looking to dine in. Would come back again.

Today we tried Mama's Cafe in The Everett. It's a hidden gem that has been open for over three years. This is a unique restaurant that serves authentic Mexican breakfasts along with traditional Mexican fare. They also have crêpes and French toast options. The breakfast menu includes Huevos rancheros, Chilaquiles, Machaca, French Toast, Crepes and regular meat and eggs items. The Mexican lunch and dinner menu includes street tacos, chili rellenos, burritos and more. They serve freshly squeezed orange juice that was absolutely sweet and delicious. The café is located on Broadway and is easy to miss driving by. Our Mexican breakfast was marvelous and we enjoyed every bite. We ordered one fresh orange juice and had to get a second one as it was so good. The restaurant is clean and the service friendly. Highly recommend this establishment. This is listed as "Top Rated" over on Google. That is accurate. I've come here a couple of times before and immensely enjoyed the food. Chips are made not store bought. Same with the taco shell. I had the Enchilada platter (and a taco on the side). This is the real deal. This is easily my fav in Everett. Try this place , thank me later.

This place has the best Mexican food! I had the carni-Asada tacos and chili-releno with rice and beans, I'd come here again soon!

Yummy food and great service for an affordable price! Some of the highlights: *staff was very friendly *quick service *Affordable (our meal was about 26 dollars all together) *fresh and homemade chips and salsa *staff was very attentive about refills and making sure we were okay We got the taco plate with al pastor and a torta with asada. The al pastor was spicy and delicious and the torta was tender and had lots of flavor! Would definitely recommend!

I know I came here way back in the day, but it was a different location and I remember enjoying it…read more I fully anticipated ordering breakfast as it was 9 am, but after looking over the menu I opted for lunch. Now coming in it was a little awkward as you walk in and the counter is right by the entrance just like most restaurants, but there were no signs that said wait to be seated or seat yourself. After standing there for a couple of minutes I saw people grabbing menus and congregating to the register. I was waiting for someone so it worked out well. You order and then take your number or in this case a magic 8 ball to the table(so they know which order goes where). This location is much larger than I remember. It had a very eclectic ambiance. More or less different types of tables and chairs everywhere, but gave off a homey vibe. The people that were working were very pleasant. We both opted for water, in which they had a water station for you to fill a cup and sit down. After sipping my water I noticed the glass I had was chipped and cracked, a chard actually chipped off in my hand. I took it back up to the front and exchanged it. Probably not the best idea to have all of the glasses stacked on top of on another. I ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich, in which upon ordering they had to check if they were ready to serve that. I was lucky enough that they were, although I did have a back up plan. The turkey sandwich came out with a mixed green salad with a dressing I was not sure of, but was very refreshing. The turkey sandwich on sourdough was very flavorful and I was very happy with my pick. I would definitely come back here and try more things, although the Cajun sandwich remains on my mind. One of the better sandwiches I have had in a long time!

(gotta climb in the Wayback Machine for that gem!) I loved that I saw at least six versions of my childhood dining room table, which felt so nostalgically comfortable that I wanted to crawl under one with my coloring books and my chocolate milk. But I digress -- you're supposed to be reading my review. I decided that I was in the mood for grilled cheese and tomato soup, so that's what I ordered. The tomato soup is really amazing -- so fresh tasting and delicious. But the sandwich was next level nom-ness. I opted to get it on sourdough because it's the best for dunking into the soup. Totes 'lish (I just thought I would type like one of the cool kids!! In conclusion, I want to talk about the service -- ordering was fairly simple, and the varied menu made it exciting to know there are so many choices. You order in line and the incredible wait staff brings the food quite quickly. With the vibe, the service and all the things, I am definitely coming back.

This place is located in a plaza of other restaurants and businesses. Parking was plentiful outside. There were many tables to choose from inside, and it wasn't busy at all when we arrived. We ended up ordering both Inihaw Plates, one with Beef BBQ Ribs and the other one with Chicken BBQ. The plates came with our meat of choice, mac salad, a little salad, and two scoops of rice. I wasn't expecting much but I was wowed when they brought our food out. Presentation was gorgeous. Our ribs and chicken looked pretty good, saucy and plentiful altogether as an entree. When I had that first bite of the Beef BBQ Rib, I was floored. I'm pretty sure I took one bite and was just speechless, I'm not trying to exaggerate. The beef ribs were flavorful, juicy, tender, and fell right off the bone. I couldn't ask for anything more. The mac salad was good, it didn't taste like the mayo was too heavy for me. It tasted nice and light. And I had a couple bites of the Chicken BBQ, it was just as delicious as the beef ribs. Also the portion size was amazing. I think I'm a little partial, but the Beef BBQ Ribs definitely altered my brain chemistry. They were that delicious and I'll be thinking about these ribs for a long time. It felt like I was back home at a Filipino barbecue or I was in Hawaii eating at an uncle's backyard. It truly felt like the meat was grilling out in the back and we ate it fresh out the grill. It was absolutely wonderful and I'll be raving about this place to people for a while. Y'all deserve all the stars and love. And the music playing? Loved it, they were already on my island music playlist lol. We had an unforgettable experience. This place is a must try if you're in the area and even if you're not in the area as well. It's just that good.

I wanted something small so ordered a cup of the soup of the day which was Cheeseburger soup but I think they call it Hamburger soup. I can say we were all pretty disappointed in this place. The staff was the only positive that we took away from this experience. Both servers that we encountered were both kind and attentive. The drinks and food however totally missed the marks. We all started off with drinks 2 margaritas, a gin gimlet and a beer between the four of us. The margaritas were terrible, like I am not sure how they put them as a feature drink. They had zero jalapeños and also offered no spicy margarita whatsoever. My wife's gin gimlet tasted like straight up lime juice. All were complete misses. Next we moved on to the food where each couple ordered a dozen wings. The X's and O's( fries and onion rings) and we also ordered a wedge salad. The wedge salad came out and idk how it was marketed as wedge when it was a bowl of salad completely engulfed in dressing(closer to soup than salad). Next the fries and onion rings came out and I'm not usually a stickler for what things cost, but $17 for like 6 onion rings and a very sad plate of fries. We expected a bit more for what we ordered for the table. Lastly the wings. While the flavoring of the wings were good, they came out not too warm to the touch and biting into them they were cold on the inside. Concerned that we may get sick from uncooked meat they assured us that they were precooked and just dropped into the fryer to finish them off. To me it is concerning that though they were precooked and still missed on hearing them all way, you may need to have a chat with your kitchen. Both of the servers were on top of it and ran both dozens back to have our order recooked. Second time around they were hot and crispy with good flavor(although the garlic boom boom wings were missing one of the sauces the second time around). It didn't matter, we ate them and paid. Not sure we will put this on our revisit list. Maybe the burgers or flatbread were the way to go, but out of 3 menu items and even the drinks.... There needs to be much more effort to everything here...
