We never would have found this out if the way diner if friends hadn't brought us here. A great looking extensive menu with lovely fresh ingredients. I had salmon, eggs c onions and cream cheese. It was delicious and a good sized portion. They make substitutions easily so I had fruit instead of potatoes and toast. Can't wait to go back and delve into the menu. read more

I came here twice while visiting the area. The food is delicious and I loved the fresh squeezed juice menu, too. The staff is very friendly and takes excellent care of you. We went here on a Saturday around 2:20pm for lunch and there was no wait! We were quickly seated and they gave us our menus. We ordered the Crunch! and the Ultimate Club with Potato Salad. The Crunch! item is basically like a plate of nachos, but in a breakfast style, which I thought was cool. I've never had breakfast nachos before, but it was still a good combo of toppings. The Ultimate Club sandwich was also very good and I liked how much meat it had with the bread being perfectly toasted. For the Ultimate Club item I got, it came with a side of your choice and I chose Potato Salad. I wasn't a huge fan of the Potato Salad since I felt it was a little too mushy for my liking. I'd recommend this place! All of the main entrees tasted good, but I would avoid the potato salad. Maybe stick with one of their fries or mashed potatoes if your meal comes with a side. read more

Locally owned friendly deli with daily specials. They have a wide selection of breakfast and sandwiches. We had the fish taco special which was delicious and wished they could have it as a regular selection and the Reuben sandwich with fries. Their meals are generous portions. You can tell that many of the customers are regulars here and that this is a joyous part of their routine. This was a quick stop on our way to the Marine Mammal Sanctuary in San Francisco. The breakfast was good and we were able to keep an eye on our car since it had all of our luggage and such, so that was nice. I got the huevos rancheros which was really good. Made a pit stop here on our way up HWY 1 from seeing such good reviews. It's a quaint little diner near the water and just felt very homey. It happened to be Valentine's Day so they had cute decor throughout. I ordered the pesto chicken club and my fiancé ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich. Service was great and everyone was so nice. Ordering and the time to receive the food was quick and the food looked delicious! My sandwich was good, just a bit too much bread (but that's due to the club), the chicken was pretty dry and overcooked, and there was hardly any pesto on it. The sweet potato fries were delicious so that made up for the sandwich lol. My fiancé did not like his sandwich at all and said the blue cheese in it tasted horrible. We had salads as well that were pretty good and overall the food is decent, just a little overpriced for what it was, but we expected that for the area. Just your average quaint diner if you like that kind of thing. Might be better for breakfast though! read more

I took away a star because after we had paid I asked one of the employees walking by where the restroom was and his response was "did you pay already?" I am conflicted with this review. The great... The place exudes charm, with a welcoming vibe that draws you in, and it's impeccably clean, adding to the appeal. The menu is a treasure trove, offering something for everyone and piquing your curiosity with its wide variety. The service that we experienced was amiable and efficient but a touch slow. The not-so-great... We seated ourselves as that is what the sign in the front said. We had not been served yet; however, we'd put our order in. Two other guests sat near us and were provided a menu and water. As we waited for our food to arrive, a server came in and asked the folks next to us to move as they couldn't sit where they were seated. The server explained that she'd forgotten to turn the sign around to 'wait to be seated.' The folks were understandably annoyed. She stood there til they finally got up and left. Although she was apologizing the entire time, she still stood over them, essentially forcing them to go. The same server then asked another woman to please move as well. She just got up and left without saying anything. After these two parties were asked to leave or move seats, the server proceeded to seat a party of 12 at the same tables. The entire episode seemed odd. It was nice to see the party of 12 seated and cared for so efficiently. It was strange, though, as two other parties were asked to move/leave to accommodate them. The food was "okay". We all thought that maybe we had ordered the wrong things. My fresh juice was served at room temperature; my husband's smoothie had zero flavors, and our kid's meal was pretty decent. I think we should have gone with an egg-based meal vs. carbs. read more

Stopped by this local diner off of 101 near Sausalito after a hike in the Marin Headlands. They have a big menu heavy on breakfast items. Since we got there around 2 (they close at 3) we decides on their Reuben and their grilled chicken sandwich. The Reuben was their version and had sweet potatoes fries in the sandwich with a slaw. It was very good! Although it came with just a little sliver of pickle so looked kind of loney on the plate. I had the chicken sandwich with a side clam chowder. The sandwich was great - lettuce and tomatoes were very fresh. The chowder was just ok, I was expecting better since we were near Sausalito. Overall, It was bit pricey for it being just a couple sandwiches and two drinks (~$50). The staff were great and food came out quick. However, the restaurant itself was a little stuffy and loud. read more

So my wifey and i visited SF for our anniversary. We were about to leave back to LA when we decided to cross the Golden Gate Bridge! We ended up finding the beautiful city of Sausalito and we fell inlove! We drove around for a couple of minutes before we saw this cute restaurant next to the ocean! I'm so happy we stopped to eat here! The omelet i order was soooo fresh and delicious! Mom and pop places are the best! We came here for breakfast both days we were in Marin -- that's how good it is! On Saturday we came around 11 and were seated right away. On Sunday we came around 10 and waited about 30 mins (well worth the wait though!) So they are definitely busier in the morning. It looked like this is a favorite spot for a lot of the locals. I got the mess-n-browns the first day and the tooty-fruity pancakes the next day. Both were so good and so filling. I couldn't even finish all the browns! The tooty-fruity pancakes are now #1 on my list of best pancakes. I'd go out of my way any day for those! I also got smoothies both days. They were healthy but delicious and you could tell they were made-to-order and made with fresh ingredients. I also loved the uniqueness of offering smoothies.
