On a Friday afternoon after I returned home from a trip, I noticed that our Bryant HVAC wasn't working. I was pleased that Carlos, the owner of Bayside Refrigeration, arranged to have Jehovany, a technician, come by on Saturday afternoon at a time that fit into my schedule. Jehovany made progress diagnosing the issue and returned at 8 am on Monday to consult with Bryant tech support for assistance. I am delighted that Jehovany was able to fix the remaining problems and get our HVAC working again. I called other repair companies and none of them were available in such a timely manner. If I could give 10 stars I would. Bayside refrigeration fixed our Bryant furnace. It turns out, it needed a gas valve replacement. They were professional, fast, and provided a great service. The furnace was under warranty and Bayside refrigeration, performed the labor, and took care of ordering of the parts and ensuring that we were under warranty and got what we needed. Carlos sent two technicians who came over to change a wonky thermostat that connects to our heater and AC, and despite the awful heatwave my appointment was just two days later. The Bryant heater at the company where I work stopped, right before an important event scheduled for Saturday. I was scrambling to find someone who could come out and repair it in three days. One business I called didn't guarantee they could fix it but did say they would come on Friday. I'm still waiting for some businesses to return my call. (It has been a year.) Carlos from Bayside Refrigeration returned my call the same day. Even though they were busy, he promised that he would have it up and running before the event. He came through on his promise and the event was a success. When I decided to add central heating and air to my own home, I contracted Bayside Refrigeration to do it. The new system works perfectly. Friendly people, always on time. Not competent. The junior guy had no clue, he called the manufacturer to find out the problem. I asked what the manufacturer said. He replied with some true gibberish I didn't understand. I said, "what does that mean? " He said , "I don't know myself". He called his boss. I told his boss I wasn't paying for that service call. They finally didn't return my many calls and emails, and we were alternately frozen or boiled in our house. They damaged some furniture. We had to finally find others to complete the job they began. They said we needed to replace an actuator, and thus we need to jackhammer the slab to do that. They were right on the first point, wrong on the second, we just needed a competent company. Had to complain to the Bryant distributor who "ordered' them to return my calls. read more

I called Bayside Refrigeration for general maintenance on my furnace and spoke with Carlos. He was very pleasant and gave me an appointment in a reasonable timeframe, under one week. The technician, Maurice was on time and masked up. He was friendly and went right to work. He found a large opening behind my furnace that was not closed when the house was built in 1968! He performed a thorough inspection of my furnace, cleaned my 52 year old intake vents and provided excellent work ethics. Fortunately, my furnace was in good working order. Carlos stopped by a few days later to inspect the opening prior to sending Maurice to perform the work. Maurice returned at a later date and close the opening behind the furnace I had a favorable experience with Bayside Refrigeration. They provided excellent customer service and I highly recommend them. read more

Bayside Refrigeration!! Great service at a fair price. Had Carlos, give a bid for an HVAC system, after checking with Costco's company, to replace our old heating system. He came out when promised. Actually looked at our old unit and gave suggestions to make any unit we purchased be more efficient. Costco's people didn't check anything just gave a bid based on square footage of our house. We hired Bayside to do the work. Most important, price for parts/labor, was very fair compared to other bid. Workers were clean and neat with no damage any other part of the house. They communicated every step of the way and answered all my questions. When the job was completed, as scheduled, the system is in perfect working order and my wife loved the after work clean-up. Our air conditioner stopped working during a heat wave. I called Carlos and he was able to get a team out the same day for diagnostics. Our unit was broken and needed a new part, but they dealt with the Bryant company directly for ordering it and even got it covered under warranty.
