So much so that it gave me the confidence to buy my first home without A/C because I knew I could just call Calvey. A few years later I did just that. Damn, it's been a couple of months now and I've been able to control the climate of my entire house from my phone, optimizing the temperature and sometimes making it as low as 66F to just enjoy the air being crisp. The install has been fantastic quality and the crew listened to everything I wanted every step of the way. They mounted rat spikes where I wanted, they put the lines and the units exactly where I asked and I've had no issues at all. I truly believe with home price comparisons in my area that I made money off of the install because it increased my home value. My golden retriever is happy, I am 100% happy and I will see you guys again next home upgrade. :)

Three years ago we found a different company that was able to address an ongoing problem that Calvey was not able to fix in over 4 years time and after spending much money over it. Since our move away from Calvey, we keep finding errors in their work and workmanship.

Teodor, our project manager, did a great job assessing our home and specifying the system. The installation crew, Azamat and Val, did excellent, careful work removing the old system, running new ductwork, and installing all the new equipment. The install took about 7 days. Communication was great throughout; scheduling, installation, and permitting all went smoothly.

We wanted to add an additional vent on the main floor, and some dampers for a few of the vents and everything went like butter. Lex and Maxat were the nicest people, arrived on time, left at 6pm each day leaving the house clean. It was a 3 day install and they finished on the third day. Beyond what they needed to do, Lex walked through things that would be checked by the inspectors even on work they didn't do (GFCI plugs close to where the old unit was), and walked me through why they did some of the things they did because I was curious. We're 3 days in so far, but the installation experience was great, and the daikin system is cooling the house great (and I can already see from the energy monitoring systems we have, it's so much more efficient!).

It is rare that I write a review but I felt compelled to do so for NUR HVAC because of their outstanding level of service during the installation of our heat pump/mini split system. During the initial walkthrough David and I spoke at length about our existing heating system and importantly about how we lived in the house. David was focused on understanding what type of system would be best for us and make us most comfortable. He was very responsive to my inquires throughout the process and provided constant updates. He and his on-site technician, Igor visited multiple times to carefully plan the details of the installation.. Igor is exceptional at his craft and was ably assisted by Konsta. He took great care to integrate the system with the existing structure while minimizing the visual and structural effects on the house. They installed all the piping and electrical lines within interior walls and even connected the drain to our existing exterior drain. Ours was a four-zone system that required over a week to install. Each morning upon arrival, Igor would detail exactly what it was they hoped to accomplish that day. Igor was very creative in overcoming several different obstacles. He is very professional and obviously takes pride in his work. We are pleased with the results and the system. Also, David, Igor and Konsta are very friendly, courteous, and respectful. I highly recommend Islam from Nur HVAC to anyone needing reliable AC work. My AC went out and I had three different HVAC companies come by to look at it. None of them could fix the problem, and one company tried to tell me I needed a whole new zone board and two new dampers for several thousand dollars. Islam came out, listened carefully to everything I told him about what the previous technicans had said, and then did his own thorough troubleshooting. It was over 90 degrees out, and he spent time up in my hot, tight attic crawl space inspecting the indoor zone system and checking the outdoor condenser. He kept me updated the entire time on what he was testing and finding. Through his diagnosis, he proved that my dampers were actually working fine and that only the zone board needed to be replaced. Before doing any work, he gave me a clear quote upfront that came out to hundreds of dollars--saving me thousands compared to the other company. He installed the new board, double-checked that all the zones, thermostats, and dampers were working properly, and didn't leave until the system was running cold. Islam was punctual, polite, honest, and extremely hardworking. If you want AC work done right with technical competence and transparent communication, ask for Islam at Nur HVAC. It is no coincidence that Nur HVAC has such positive reviews. This team is just as good as all of the reviews say. We had them upgrade our old gas furnace and gas water heater to heat pump units and I can say hands down that this was the most positive home improvement / construction project we've done. Their pricing was very competitive. Fedor coordinated our project and was consistently responsive and helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure we got the equipment I wanted. Vladimir and Arthur performed most of the install and it went super smoothly and the equipment works perfectly. They were always courteous and communicative. We had one issue related to very high water pressure from the street and even though this wasnt their fault, Nur HVAC prioritized helping us solve the problem over the holidays. This morning my wife discovered that the microwave and a couple of other appliances in the kitchen had stopped working... It was a terrible experience for us as we were expecting friends at a 4th of July party. I immediately began to look for someone who could come and fix the problem. Everyone I contacted denied me. Until I called "Nur Service". The technician arrived within 40 minutes, found the problem, it turned out that the gfci outlet was broken, and power was lost in other appliances associated with it. What a great and honest company.They came same day (within 2 hours) to fix my heater! My technician, Adlan, was knowledgeable, friendly, and conscientious. I know nothing about heaters and they could have charged me anything for repairs but Adlan was so honest-- he thoroughly examined my heater, removed some dust debris that was causing a burning smell and said nothing more needed to be done. Our furnace died early on a Saturday morning. NUR was one of the only HVAC companies who was open and agreed to take a look at it. He was very courteous, punctual and made quick work of disconnecting my condenser. I was happy to hire Promax again a few weeks later to come back and reconnect the condenser. This time it was a different tech (Kostas), but he was also very friendly and professional. He reconnected the condenser and it's been working perfectly since.
